In order to give more Mantra Sakthi to the Devata Vigrahams and with the good intention of generating more benefits to the devotees, Sri Lalitha Peetham is planning to perform Akaraadikshakaarantha Maha Yagnam. We request all devotees to participate in this Yagnam. Anybody who is above 10 years of age, including girls, boys, men and women can participate in this Yagnam. The priest will recommend the Japa Mantra based on one s name and nakshatram. The Deeksha Japam will start on the auspicious day of Guru Pournami and continue for 40 days. Performing this Japam will get the blessings of Guru will help in spiritual progress Sri Lalitha Devi - provides prosperity and happiness Sri Bruhaspati Graha Devata will reduce Graha Doshaas Pancha Bhoothas will result in Prapancha Shanti (world peace) As mentioned before, everybody is eligible to participate in this Yagnam. One can perform Japam based on their level of understanding of Shastras. In order to give devotees a better understanding, a table of the Mantras and their power is provided below. It should be noted that the Mantra should only be received from a Guru and should not be picked on your own. Interested devotees are requested to call the Temple. We will provide you a Mantra which will benefit you. We request devotees to perform the Japam in the Temple for maximum benefits. Temple atmosphere will remove unnecessary thoughts during Japam and provide the right concentration. Japam can also be performed at home, if coming to Temple is not feasible. The following are the only items needed to perform the Japam: Aasanam (seat), Pancha Paatra and Uddharina (religious glass and spoon), plate, small book and pen to note the count, small piece of cloth to cover the counting hand during Japam. Bhagavataarchana (Archana of God) and Japam will always result in good for the devotees. We sincerely hope that many devotees will participate in this Maha Yagnam and get blessings of Sri Lalitha Devi and Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy. Sri Lalitha Devi's nature is very delicate.
