Before God and in the company of our sisters and brothers, let us confess our sin.

Silence is kept for reflection. God and Father of all, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed. We have thought better of ourselves than others. We have told lies, said hurtful things, acted in ways we wish we could take back, and looked the other way when action was needed. In your mercy, O God, forgive us, cleanse us, and heal us, for the sake of Jesus, our Savior. Amen. If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; everything has become new! In Christ, + you are a new creation: your sins are taken away and you are made new. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,as God in Christ has forgiven you. Amen. Let us pray together God of the covenant, in our baptism you call us to proclaim the coming of your kingdom. Give us the courage you gave the apostles, that we may faithfully witness to your love and peace in every circumstance of life, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen Congregation may be seated CHILDREN S MESSAGE SCRIPTURE SONG Cannot Say Enough What can we say to describe Just a glimpse of Your glory How can our words portray But a thread of Your majesty But still we praise our Savior In spirit and in truth For we cannot say enough about You Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah Hallelujah hallelujah But still we praise our Savior In spirit and in truth For we cannot say enough about You CCLI Song No Simpleville Music (Admin. by Simpleville Music, Inc.) 5 SCRIPTURE READING 2 Corinthians 12:2-10 Christians do not boast of their own accomplishments. Rather, Christian boasting focuses attention on how the power of Christ is present in our lives, especially in times of weakness and vulnerability. No matter what our circumstances in life, Christ s grace is sufficient for us. I know a person in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows. And I know that such a person whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows was caught up into Paradise and heard things that are not to be told, that no mortal is permitted to repeat. On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. But if I wish to boast, I will not be a fool, for I will be speaking the truth. But I refrain from it, so that no one may think better of me than what is seen in me or heard from me, even considering the exceptional character of the revelations. Therefore, to keep me from being too elated, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I appealed to the Lord about this, that it would leave me, but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong. MESSAGE FOR THE DAY SONG OF THE DAY Your Grace Is Enough Great is Your faithfulness O God You wrestle with the sinner's restless heart You lead us by still waters into mercy And nothing can keep us apart So remember Your people Remember Your children Remember Your promise O God Your grace is enough Your grace is enough Your grace is enough for me Great is Your love and justice God of Jacob You use the weak to lead the strong You lead us in the song of Your salvation And all Your people sing along Yeah Your grace is enough Heaven reaches out to us Your grace is enough for me God I sing Your grace is enough I'm covered in Your love Your grace is enough for me for me

CCLI Song # Matt Maher 2003 spiritandsong.com Thankyou Music (Admin. by EMI Christian Music Publishing) For use solely with the SongSelect Terms of Use. All rights reserved. CCLI License # APOSTLES CREED I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.* On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen PRAYERS OF INTERCESSION The prayers will be offered in petitions ending in Lord, in your mercy. The congregation will respond, Hear our prayer PEACE The peace of Christ be with you always. And also with you. The people may greet one another with a sign of Christ's peace, and may say, "Peace be with you," or similar words. Please remain standing after this.

OFFERING PRAYER God of mercy and grace, the eyes of all wait upon you, and you open your hand in blessing. Fill us with good things at your table, that we may come to the help of all in need, through Jesus Christ, our redeemer and Lord. Amen. The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give God thanks and praise. HOLY COMMUNION It is indeed right, our duty and our joy, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks and praise to you, almighty and merciful God, through our Savior Jesus Christ; who on this day overcame death and the grave, and by his glorious resurrection opened to us the way of everlasting life. And so, with all the choirs of angels, with the church on earth and the hosts of heaven, we praise your name and join their unending hymn:

In the night in which he was betrayed, our Lord Jesus took bread, and gave thanks; broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take and eat; this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me. Again, after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it for all to drink, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. Do this for the remembrance of me Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen Jesus said, "Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

As you come forward receive the bread from the Pastor and then dip it in the cup held by the Communion Assistant. Then partake of the elements together. You may return to your place by using the side aisle. The Praise Band will be singing during distribution. You are welcome to sing along. PRAYER AND BLESSING Generous God, we thank you that at Wisdom's holy table you have fed us again with her bread and wine, the food of everlasting life. Send us, your servants, into all the land, that we may act wisely, seek the good of our neighbor, and call others to come to the feast; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen. Almighty and merciful God, Father, + Son, and Holy Spirit, bless, preserve, and keep you this day and forevermore. Amen.
