BibleForToday.org Phone: , order-phone only: John 10:9 AN EXCELLENT DBS MEETING THE ORDINATION OF DANIEL WAITE TO THE GOSPEL MINISTRY JULY 27-28, JULY 29, 31, 2011 WELL I AM FINALLY RESTED FROM THE DEAN BURGON SOCIETY S ANNUAL MEETING (July 27-28, 2011) I was PLUMB TIRED OUT! HOW ABOUT YOU? WAS EXCITED THAT SO MANY OF OUR DEAN BURGON SOCIETY & BIBLE FOR TODAY FRIENDS CAME ALL THE WAY TO COLLINGSWOOD, NEW JERSEY. THEY CAME AS FAR AWAY AS CALIFORNIA, ALBERTA, CANADA, AND BRAZIL! MANY STAYED AT THE NEARBY DAY S INN. ONE COUPLE GOT A SURPRISINGLY GOOD DEAL AT THE CROWN PLAZA--CHEAPER THAN THE DAYS INN! IMAGINE THAT!! AT LEAST TWENTY STATES WERE REPRESENTED AT THE CONFERENCE, AS WELL AS FIVE FOREIGN COUNTRIES! DR. WAITE AND I HAD A HOUSE GUEST FROM NORTH DAKOTA THE WHOLE TIME! LATER A FRIEND FROM PENNSYLVANIA STAYED THE WEEK-END. RIGHT NOW, AS I WRITE, A FRIEND FROM CANADA IS WITH US. She loves to clean, of all things. So, I am letting her clean my house. DANIEL WAITE ORDAINED BY BFTBC IN COLLINGSWOOD NJ, JULY 31, 2011 I admit that sometimes, my head was in a whirl with people coming & going --EATING & TALKING and JUST PLAIN VISITING! Many were a part of DANIEL WAITE S THEOLOGICAL QUESTIONING FOR HIS ORDINATION EXAMINATION (July 29, 2011): HIS CONVERSION, HIS CALL TO THE MINISTRY, AND HIS DOCTRINAL POSITION. Our church questioned him with the prospect of his being ordained the following Sunday. Personally, it was a joy to be at the QUESTIONING! They were good questions, too! His answers were excellent! The room was full! And--as my husband had told me, a few days earlier--our son knew his theology backwards and forward.

THE DBS WOMEN MET WEDNESDAY, July 27, 2011, IN THE MORNING I WANT TO TELL YOU SO MUCH ABOUT THE 33rd ANNUAL MEETING OF THE DEAN BURGON SOCIETY! So, I think I will begin with the DBS WOMEN. Now for sure our women s meetings are NOT the most important sessions of the DBS CONFERENCES; BUT the DBS women are dear to my heart. Scores of years ago, MRS. JANE HOLLOWOOD & I decided to get the wives of the DBS Executive Committee and DBS Advisory Council involved in the textual debate, hoping other women would catch the fire. After all, women are some of the main teachers in the world! Who teaches the children from childhood to adulthood? Who is involved in Sunday School and Bible School teaching? Who does most of the home schooling? Often it is the women. So, it is with this in mind that the DBS WOMEN meet every year while the men are in their Executive Committee. Some women, of course, choose not to attend. In my opinion--that is their loss THEY ARE MISSED!. TAMARA WAITE SPOKE ON TEARS & WEEPING TAMARA WAITE, Daniel Waite s wife, reminded us of those who wept tears in the Bible. It is those very people, about whom we read, every time we open that Blessed Book. They were human beings like you and me. HEAR MY PRAYER, O LORD, AND GIVE EAR UNTO MY CRY; HOLD NOT THY PEACE AT MY TEARS... (Psalm 39:12) They had heartaches and cares just like we do. Tamie opened up the Words of God and shared some private tears of those early PATRIARCHS & SAINTS. PLEASE GET TAMARA WAITE S MESSAGE (It is BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). I personally want to go over that talk with an open heart once again. I told her I would like to do a JUST FOR WOMEN radio program with her on the subject some time, but not until my cataract surgery is a thing of the past. TAMIE WANTED US TO SING AN OLD FASHIONED SONG. I m sure you remember BRINGING IN THE SHEAVES. Whenever an old-time church is portrayed on television, we viewers can hear this song sung over and over again. Maybe you remember hearing it on LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE. It is a favorite of our friend, Barbara Crowder. I thought of her as we sang it. Here is the last stanza written by KNOWLES SHAW.

Waite 900 Park Ave. Collingswood, NJ BRINGING IN THE SHEAVES Going forth with weeping, sowing for the Master, Tho the loss sustained our spirit often grieves; When our weeping s over, He will bid us welcome, We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves. ANNE MARIE NOYLE & THE HISTORY OF THE KJB THIS YEAR, WE DBS WOMEN WERE BLESSED BY TWO WOMEN WHO INSTRUCTED US ON THE TEXTUAL SUBJECT. ANNE MARIE NOYLE FROM ONTARIO, CANADA, WAS A TROOPER! With very little warning to speak, she taught us THE HISTORY OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE. It was timely, good, accurate, & interesting! (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). She told us that while the KJB translators began their translation work, a dark, sinister, occult plot was in the making. The Jesuits were working feverishly to influence the people of England to return to the Roman Catholic Church. That was in the summer of July The plot was to assassinate King James. The plotters wanted to put King James young daughter on the throne of England, indoctrinating her in the Catholic faith at the same time. YOU SHOULD GET THIS! JOY WALLNOFER & THE GENEVA BIBLE Then, JOY WALLNOFER BLESSED OUR HEARTS WITH HER TALK ON WHY NOT THE GENEVA BIBLE? If we women did not know much about that Bible before, we do now. I was proud of her work. (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). She told us that there were one hundred and fifty different English editions of the GENEVA BIBLE in its seventy-five years of printing. In fact, the first edition was printed in 1560, fifty-one years before the 1611 King James Bible went to press. It was a most interesting talk. GET IT! CLELIA ALMEIDA FROM BRAZIL CLELIA ALAMEIDA all the way from BRAZIL-- told us of her work, with her husband, near their home in BARZILLIA (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). It had been six years since we last saw her and her husband, Pedro. He is a retired BRAZILIAN air force Colonel. My, they were a sight for sore eyes! My husband met Pedro through the or the internet years ago. He was disturbed over the inaccuracies in his Portuguese Bible. It was then that Dr. Waite recommended to them a Bible College nearby. They attended and graduated from that school with flying colors. The ALMEIDAS taught the children in their neighborhood so well that the children s lives began to change. SAD TO SAY-- those life-changes were not welcomed by the parents of the children. They forbade their children to attend the Bible studies. How heartbreaking! We trust that the seed that was planted in the hearts of those children and young people will bear fruit as the children grow into adulthood. THE DBS WOMEN IN SONG One of the delights of the morning for me was the congregational singing of the women. It was during our singing of P. B Bliss s song HALLELUJAH, WHAT A SAVIOUR, THAT A CAMERA MAN FROM PHILADELPHIA S CHANNEL 6 CAME INTO THE AUDITORIUM WITH HIS BIG CAMERA. THE PHOTOGRAPHER SHOT VIDEO OF US AS I WAS LEADING THE SINGING. Later, JoAnn Nawrocki said she saw us on the four o clock news! THAT HYMN REMINDED US WOMEN OF JESUS CHRIST, HIS SUFFERING & HIS TEARS. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him... (Hebrews 5:7-9)

Waite 900 Park Ave. Collingswood, NJ NOW TO THE DBS CONFERENCE ITSELF THE WAITE S HOUSE WAS TOO SMALL BECAUSE THE BIBLE FOR TODAY BAPTIST CHURCH, MEETS IN OUR HOME HERE ON PARK AVENUE IN COLLINGSWOOD, NEW JERSEY, THE CHURCH ROOM IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR THOSE WHO WOULD ATTEND THE DEAN BURGON SOCIETY S ANNUAL MEETING. The DBS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE & ADVISORY COUNCIL wanted us to meet in th Collingswood this KJB 400 anniversary year. (By the way, it was the rd Society s 33 year.) So, the BIBLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH of Collingswood on Collingswood s Haddon Avenue opened its doors for the gathering. That church is different in many serious doctrinal positions from either the Presbyterian USA denomination, the Orthodox Presbyterians, or the Presbyterian Churches of America. The church s pastor is CHRISTIAN SPENCER, J.D. THE BP CHURCH STANDS WITH DBS ON TEXTUAL MATTERS Anyhow, THE BIBLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (WHERE WE HAD OUR DBS MEETING A FEW WEEKS AGO) TAKES THE SAME STAND AS THE DEAN BURGON SOCIETY DOES ON THE HEBREW, ARAMAIC, GREEK WORDS & TEXTUAL MATTERS CONCERNING THE KING JAMES BIBLE. If you recall from the DBS statements, the DEAN BURGON SOCIETY S members agree on the textual matters. That is where those in the society find fellowship and consent. We do not talk about baptism, foot washing, future things, or church polity, etc. The DBS is a ONE ISSUE SOCIETY! We come together because of our stand on the Bible and the original languages from which that AUTHORIZED KING JAMES BIBLE stands. The King James Bible is the best English translation of the RECEIVED GREEK TEXT and the Masoretic HEBREW TEXT. THIS IS WHERE THE DBS HAS ALWAYS STOOD! Waite 900 Park Ave. Collingswood, NJ THE BOOK TABLES WERE POPULAR PLACES HOW HAPPY WE WERE TO SEE SO MANY PEOPLE FROM SO MANY DIFFERENT PLACES ASSEMBLE IN THAT LARGE CHURCH AUDITORIUM. YES IT WAS HOT! The air conditioner broke and the pew seats were hard; but the joy of being together helped us fan ourselves in thanksgiving for such fellowship! Rich Trawinski brought battery operated fans. HE GAVE ME ONE. The old fashioned funeral parlor fans helped, too. There was much bulletin fanning going on and personal perspiration, but I determined not to complain remembering my childhood days with no air conditioning and few fans. The back section of the huge church was roped off so people would sit forward in the main auditorium. Near the back of the front section were the BOOK TABLES. PEOPLE COULD SEE The Bible For Today and The DEAN BURGON SOCIETY BOOK TABLES. HOW GOOD TO SEE PEOPLE CROWDING AROUND THEM AND BUYING BOOKS! Waite 900 Park Ave. Collingswood, NJ THE MUSIC MINISTRY OF DICK CARROLL FOR ME, ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CONFERENCE WAS THE CONGREGATIONAL SINGING. Dick CARROLL, our BIBLE FOR TODAY BAPTIST CHURCH PIANIST, sat at the keyboard, or was seated at the organ for all the congregational singing. What a blessing to share his musical gift with our friends in the church and around the world by live streaming. You who are familiar with the BFTBC church services viewed on the BROWN BOX at BibleForToday.org, know the gift this ninety-year old musician is to Dr. Waite s ministry. THE FIRST DBS DAY: JULY 27, 2011 DR. BARNETT: A FAITHFUL VICE PRESIDENT It s always good to see PASTOR BOB BARNETT from Michigan. His speech was on STANDARDS OF KJB EXCELLENCE (BFT $ $8.00 S&H). He stated the following: The first standard of excellence is self-explanatory. The consistent 400-year record of Bible believing saints and churches making the Authorized King James Bible their English standard for faith and practice. The British could once proudly claim that the sun never sets on the British Empire. Today, because of God s divine providence, we praise His name that the sun still never sets on the King James Bible which built the British Empire, the United Sates of America, and other nations included in what is now called Western Civilization. PASTOR BARNETT HAS BEEN THE DEAN BURGON SOCIETY S FAITHFUL VICE- PRESIDENT ALL THESE YEARS. His personal faithfulness and his church s support to the Society does not go without notice. WHAT A FRIEND! I remember when my sister lived in Michigan after my parents went HOME to be with the Lord. He and Donna visited her monthly, reporting to me how she was doing. (Beverly was born brain damaged.) You have probably read the poems about her in GERTRUDE SANBORN S (my mother) poem book, WITH TEARS IN MY HEART (BFT $25.00+$8.00 S&H). Some day I would like to reprint her book called ABLE TO BEAR IT. PASTOR RAINEY: NOT A BJU CLONE PASTOR KEN RAINEY FROM SOUTH CAROLINA HAS TAKEN A STAND FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE IN THE GREENVILLE, SC AREA. Get his message on Overcoming anti-kjb Schools (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). When my husband was the guest speaker at Pastor Rainey s church a few years ago, more than half of his congregation left in protest. They did not like my husband. (They must have been Bob Jones University clones--i guess.) Dr. Waite has spoken at the WAYSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH several times in the recent years. LET ME QUOTE FROM PASTOR RAINEY HIMSELF WHEN HE SAID:: Think of the risks taken, blood shed and suffering endured by those who clung to, treasured, hid and preached (though in danger of death) the RECEIVED TEXT, God s Words, recorded and preserved by God. I cringe at the glib thoughtless low motives of many of the pseudoscholars, who ravish the precious Words of God for popularity and profit. Lt. Col. PEDRO ALMEIDA WAS THERE BRAZIL S COLONEL PEDRO ALMEIDA has a burden for the PORTUGUESE BIBLE. HOW THE KJB HELPED WITH THE PORTUGUESE BIBLE was the title of his speech (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). He said the following:

Waite 900 Park Ave. Collingswood, NJ THE BATTLE FOR THE WORD OF GOD MUST BE FOUGHT IN EVERY LANGUAGE IN EVERY NATION (Matthew 28:19) BY EVERY GENERATION (message to the young); FOR THE RIGHT REASONS ( we use the KJB ) AGAINST TH SAME ENEMY. If I recall, this former Brazilian air force LT. COLONEL, met my husband through the . (I think this is right, and not the internet.) They communicated on textual matters. Then Pedro came to the United States to study in a Bible college that my husband recommended. HOW GOOD! At that time, Pedro and Clelia lived close enough, that they often drove to Collingswood to attend our church. WHAT MEMORIES! PASTOR DANIEL S. WAITE S MESSAGE HIT HOME! PASTOR DANIEL WAITE S WARNINGS WERE FORTHRIGHT! His speech, DANGERS OF THE INSPIRED KJB POSITIONS (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). has hit the fan! DANGERS OF THE INSPIRED KJB POSITIONS was the subject! Pastor Daniel told us that the word, Inspiration is a precise doctrinal word. He said that When we start to alter doctrinal terms, we begin to set a precedent to change other doctrinal terms. Then he concluded, THEN, WE DESTROY THEOLOGY! Continuing, he said something like this: We are grateful for the martyrs and Christians who paved the way for the King James Bible. BUT WE CANNOT SAY A TRANSLATION IS INSPIRED! GOD IS THE ONE WHO GAVE PARTICULAR WORDS. HE GAVE US HIS BIBLE! Some are so angry with this South Jersey theologian and his speech! They are refuting his word and his position as I write! I THOUGHT HE DID A GOOD JOB BUT THEN, I AM HIS MOTHER! Why? Because EMOTIONALLY-FRAIL GAIL RIPLINGER is writing furiously about him! I wonder what she would do with her poison pen if it were not for my sons and my husband -or me, too--as well as Dr. Stringer--to castigate? DR. STRINGER KEPT OUR ATTENTION PASTOR PHIL STRINGER FROM CHICAGO IS ALWAYS GOOD. His speech was 400 YEARS OF KJB INFLUENCE (BFT $15.00+$8.00 S&H). Dr. Stringer keeps our attention. In his Preface, Dr. Stringer mentioned the following: All of a sudden, this constant barrage of criticism of the King James Bible is suffering some degree of disruption. As the four hundredth anniversary of the release of the KJB approaches, attention is being focused on the incredible influence of the KJB over the last four hundred years. Some of the criticism is being replaced by a serious look at the literary, political, linguistic, and cultural influence of the KJB. Hopefully, equal attention will also be placed upon the spiritual impact of the King James Bible. BACK ON THE BOOK TABLE WAS PASTOR STRINGER S LATEST BOOK, GAIL RIPLINGER S OCCULT CONNECTIONS. It is an eye opener (BFT $ $7.00 S&H)! Already the twice-divorced & thrice married PREVARICATING FRAIL RIPLINGER is frantically and furiously refuting that little book. If it weren t so serious, it would be humorous! I have visited Pastor Stringer s church in Chicago s Ravenswood. I really enjoyed it there. The

When they sing, the music swells the church with perfect praise! I liked it. J. PAUL RENO MADE THE DIFFICULT EASY PASTOR J. PAUL RENO HAS THE GIFT OF TAKING A DIFFICULT & MISUNDERSTOOD SUBJECT AND MAKING IT UNDERSTANDABLE. This he did in his SPEECH, IS THE KJB INSPIRED OR TRANSLATED WORDS. (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). We remember PASTOR RENO YEARS AGO AROUND 1954 when both his father and Dr. Waite were early teaching at Cedarville College. (It is now a University.) He said, God would have us contend FOR The faith rather than be contentious about error. Since the faith is found in our Bibles, The Scriptures must be our authority. We have a safe source in the superb and irreplaceable translation, the King Jams Version. DR. SPENCER SPOKE OF THE KJB & COPYRIGHT LAWS th THE LAST SESSION OF THE FIRST NIGHT (July 27 ) was given by DR. CHRISTIAN SPENCER. He is the pastor of the historic COLLINGSWOOD BIBLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH That is the church building where the DBS was meeting this year. (I ve told you all about that.) IS THE KJB COPYRIGHTED? WHY? was the title of his speech! (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). I must confess that it was way over my head. Yet, Norma C., my house guest, understood most every word! Pastor Spencer is a full fledged lawyer, with a Doctor of Jurisprudence, as well as being a busy pastor. Yes, his conviction on the King James Bible grows deep! BLESS THE LORD, OH MY SOUL AND ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME BLESS HIS HOLY NAME. (Psalm 103:1) To Hear The Speakers, Just CLICK On Their Pictures.

9 BFT UPDATE/Aug/Sep/Oct, 2011, From Yvonne S. Waite 900 Park Ave. Collingswood, NJ THE SECOND & LAST DBS DAY (July 28) ZEINNER S CONCERN IS THE HEART LANGUAGE DR. STEVEN ZEINNER, OF BEARING PRECIOUS SEED GLOBAL, WAS THE FIRST SPEAKER! He is a good one. KJB S INFLUENCE ON FOREIGN TRANSLATION was his title (BFT #4015DVDZeinner@ $15.00+$7.00 S&H). THE HEART LANGUAGE IS HIS BURDEN! He wants to get the Scriptures into the hands of those who have never had a good translation of the Bible. He is putting New Testaments & Bible portions translated from the Received Text into the reader s hands. By God s grace and the contributions of many, Dr. Zeinner is doing this. His prayer & information communications prove that he is doing this one heart language at a time. When he was a missionary in Mexico, he discovered the difference between his English Bible and the Spanish Bible he was using. He did not know it then, but the problem was the textual difference that Dr Waite and others try to tell us about. For hundreds of years English-speaking missionaries from around the world have taken their Bible to the Foreign field. Being called of God to a people so very different than themselves and who speak a strange language, these faithful unselfish servants will want them to have a Bible equal to his. I could not imagine a missionary that would not want this for the people that he says he loves and has a burden to reach. WINOGRAD SPOKE ON THE SUPREME BIBLE The second speaker that day was Chicago s ROB WINOGRAD. We never tire of hearing him tell how he was saved from a terrible life! In his search for the TRUTH, he discovered the KING JAMES BIBLE. His message was titled ACCEPTANCE E OF KJB AS SUPREME (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). Rob told us that The manifestation of God s attributes and His Sovereignty are displayed in His ability to preserve His Words through the ages, supplying each generation the light of His Words according to His purpose, the KJB being for such a time as this (Esther 4:14). He Reflected: I asked my grandmother, born in 1898, if she used any other Bible than the KJB, and she gave me her wisdom-filled answer. NO! My grandmother got saved at 85 years of age, after leading a clean religious life.... Her prayers for me from then on were effectual. She lived to be 99. She did not live to see me saved, but I do look forward to talking with her again and thanking her. GRUMBLATT ON THE DEVIL S ATTACK ON THE BIBLE JAMES GRUMBLATT ALWAYS GIVES A POWERFUL MESSAGE. He spoke on ENEMIES OF THE KJB (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H) In his quest for the truth, MR. GRUMBLATT discovered that few people knew about BROOKE FOSS WESTCOTT AND FENTON JOHN ANTHONY HORT who had done tremendous damage to the King James Bible s popularity. They produced their own Greek text, as you probably know. That was in the 1800's. In his defense of the KJB s thee s & thou s, Mr. Grumblatt encouraged us by saying, Do not allow those in academia to insult your intelligence! He said, It is not that difficult to grasp this very simple rule. If you can t even remember those seven words, then simply remember this, if the pronoun starts with T, it is singular. If it starts with Y, it is plural.

Waite 900 Park Ave. Collingswood, NJ MARK RENO GAVE A CLEAR MESSAGE MARK RENO, WHO IS THE NEW DIRECTOR OF THE CONVERSION CENTER, SPOKE ON SUPERIORITY OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE (BFT $15.00+$7.00 S&H). He always gives a clear message. This year he told us WHY THE KJB WAS SUPERIOR. He used a series of words to describe this superiority. THE KING JAMES BIBLE S CREATOR WAS SUPERIOR. It is complete. When he was in his middle thirties, Wycliffe began teaching and writing against the umbilical doctrines and practices of the Roman Catholic Church. He exposed the errors of transubstantiation, sacramentalism, purgatory, indulgences, traditions being equal to the authority with the Scriptures, the papacy, infant baptism, praying to the saints, and many other false teachings. TAMIE WAITE, DAN S WIFE, WAS IN CHARGE OF THAT MASTERFUL OPERATION. The food was gourmet, the service was A+, and the presentation of the food was CLASS A. I was so proud of her and the crew! Daniel Waite, who spear-headed the whole operation, wanted our church to serve food so the DBS guests could fellowship one with another instead of going off to the many restaurants in Collingswood and neighboring communities. That it was! A TIME OF TRUE FELLOWSHIP AROUND GOOD TEACHING & FOOD!! ONE OF MY PERSONAL DISAPPOINTMENTS WAS THAT SCORES WHO REGISTERED FOR THE CONFERENCE AND FOR A PLACE AT THE MEAL TABLES DID NOT SHOW UP. That meant that we planned on them, bought & cooked food for them; and they did not even care enough to cancel their reservations. Their reserved name tags are still unclaimed by their absence.
