2 Affirmation of Faith We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in the present world. VISION STATEMENT Northern Nevada 1st Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction s vision is to establish and develop churches that will influence their families and communities to obtain spiritual and natural growth victoriously through living uncompromised Godly lives in Christ Jesus.

6 Jurisdictional State Supervisor Mother Bertha Mullins Holy Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. A special welcome to our 2018 Leadership Conference delegates and guests. We are so glad that the Lord has smiled upon us another year, and has blessed us to come once again to give Him our sincere worship and praises. We all can certainly see the signs of the times with catastrophic storms, earthquakes, mass shootings, mudslides, political & racial division and threats of nuclear war. We need God more than ever before in this day and time. As we come together to learn how to win the loss, we want to continue to encourage those who are still fighting on the battlefield for their lives. The task that God has called each of us to do in these last and evil days is great. The bible says in John 9:4 I must work the work of Him that sent me while it is day, when night comes no man can work. I encourage you today to do your very best for God for He gave His very best for you. He gave His life! 7 Jurisdictional First Lady Missionary Jennifer DuPree Holy Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus! The ruler that reigns. His righteousness is in the earth. I honor God, our Bishop, administrators, pastors and wives, supervisor of women Mother Bertha Mullins, the leadership committee and all the saints of God. To our special guests Bishop and Lady Johnathan D. Logan, thank you for being with us. Our theme is Righteous Leadership Matters; Impacting Families, Churches and Communities. For the bible says when righteousness is established, fear, terror and oppression is far from us. For God s righteousness must be magnified in the eyes of His people. righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. For the word of the Lord says, As believers in Christ, we want righteousness to be established in our spirit. Righteousness is what honors God. For the bible says, righteousness and justice are the foundation of God s throne. This is the time now that righteousness must be established in order to enjoy His benefits. For God s righteousness enables us to express our love and passion; that will please him and enhance our lives in him. Let us obtain his righteousness that it might go forth as brightness and her salvation as a lamp that burns. My prayer for this meeting is that God will bring change, encouragement, strength and empowerment to our churches and leaders; that they will be enriched and enlightened with God s flavor of righteousness, and that the oil of his anointing will be poured upon us so we can become better servants for God. 8 Jurisdictional Prelate Greater Northern California Second Jurisdiction Bishop Johnathan D. Logan, Sr., D.D. Visionary, an apostle, a prophet, a teacher, an ordained leader, Bishop Johnathan D. Logan knew from a very young age that he was destined to be a minister of the Gospel. Saved at the age of ten and called into the preaching ministry at the age of 19, Bishop Logan s career in ministry spans more than 41 years, of which 33 have been spent as senior pastor of the Cornerstone Community Church of God in Christ in Marin City, California, and 19 months at the Ephesian Church of God in Christ in Berkeley, California. During his early years, he was mentored by his father in ministry, the late Bishop Joseph Carlton Jenkins where he served in several capacities, including Youth Pastor. Bishop Logan is a graduate of Fellowship Bible Institute. He also attended Solano Community College to enhance his ability to counsel and reach people. There he received a Certificate of Achievement in Human Services. In December of 2011, he received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Bell Grove Theological Seminary. Faithful to the work of the Church and community, Bishop Logan loyally served for 18 years as an Administrative Assistant to the late Bishop Robert-Richard Carr, prelate of Greater Northern California Second Jurisdiction. During this time, he was appointed as the founding District Superintendent of the Rhema District. Bishop Logan has also served on several other boards which include: the Marin City Community Development and Land Corporations. Currently he is a member of the Board Operations Council of Hospice by the Bay, and President of Operation M.O.P.P. (The Making Opportunities Possible Project), a non-profit organization which he founded in Ministry is Bishop Logan s passion. For this reason, many lives have been touched through his anointed, insightful, teaching and preaching. In 2012, he founded the Logan Leadership Development Institute, where he assists pastors and congregations in the development and maximization of their leadership potential and reach. He believes that the Church s greatest asset are the people who willingly avail themselves to serve God s Kingdom and see it advanced in the earth. In July 2015, following the death of Bishop Carr, the Pastors of the Greater Northern California Second Jurisdiction unanimously recommended Bishop Logan to succeed his Bishop and friend, Bishop Carr. On November 8, 2015 during the 108 th Holy Convocation of the Church of God in Christ in St. Louis, MO, Bishop Logan was elevated to the episcopal office of bishop. The next day following, Bishop Logan was ratified to become the jurisdictional prelate of the Greater Northern California Second Jurisdiction. Bishop Logan is happily married to Dr. Carolyn Logan, his best friend, and love of his life for more than 38 years. Together, Bishop and Dr. Carolyn have four very outstanding sons who are all married: Johnathan Jr. (Amber); David (Shamila); Michael (Sharrah); and Phillip (Rachel). They also have four lovely grandchildren: Sanai, Jesse, Michael Jr., and Amara. Bishop Logan also has a wonderful daughter and son-in-law; Natre (Mark) and two more lovely grandchildren: Tiana and Janae.

9 Jurisdictional First Lady Dr. Carolyn L.J. Logan I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth! Psalm 34:1 Carolyn L. J. Logan is the First-Lady and Director of Women s Ministries of the Cornerstone Community Church of God in Christ in Marin City, California. She also serves as the church administrator, which enables her to serve in her gifting of administration (governments) and helps (I Corinthians 12:28). She shares the Word of God through seminars, training sessions and teaching. Carolyn loves the Lord with all of her heart and enjoys ministering to God s people in any way that she can. Her heart is to encourage and edify the people of God, regardless of their walk in life. Carolyn is the founder and Ministry Director of the Abundance of Love Ministry (ALMS). In this ministry, she seeks to reach women and encourage them to fulfill their God-ordained purpose. (Jeremiah 1:4-5). The ministry includes ministry to shut-ins, encouragement through written expressions and support to missions at home and in the foreign fields of Africa, Mexico, and Haiti. ALMS also sponsors a Women s Empowerment Retreat annually in February. Carolyn is a licensed evangelist missionary in the Church of God in Christ. She holds a B.S. Degree from Golden Gate University in Health Service Management and a M.S. Degree in Counseling from Cal State Hayward. In 2010, Carolyn was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Bell Grove Theological Seminary. Currently she is employed by the Vallejo City Unified School District as an Academic Support Provider. Through her business Step 2 Success," as a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, she facilitates Domestic Violence and Parenting Groups. However, her greatest joy comes from knowing that she is a saint of God and that she is honoring him with her life. Carolyn is happily married to her husband of 38 years, Bishop Johnathan D. Logan, Sr. They are the parents of four sons: Johnathan Jr., David, Michael Sr., and Phillip; daughters in-love Amber, Shamila, Sharrah, and Rachel; and grandparents to Sanai Monet, Jesse Jalin, Michael Christopher Jr., and Amara Bree. 16 Praise the Lord Northern Nevada 1 st Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction! It is with great excitement in my spirit, on behalf of myself and Administrator Maurice Washington, that I say thank you! Thank you for your love, support and your fellowship. As the scripture declares Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity Psalms 133:1. The scripture further describes how valuable and precious it is and how it affects the whole garment. You all are very precious and your presence and participation exemplifies the scripture. We pray that you have been blessed and elevated in your heart and spirit as leaders destined to succeed. Thank you Bishop DuPree for allowing us the opportunity to serve in this capacity. Special thanks to all those who have assisted us in making this meeting a success, what would we have done without you. To our distinguished guests Bishop and Lady Johnathan D.
