1 Prayers for Singapore Page 1 Prayers for Singapore Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people. ~ Proverbs 14:34 As a House of Prayer in this land, we stand and pray for Singapore to burn and shine as the Antioch of Asia, to arise with the Joseph calling to advance the Kingdom of God as well as to arise with authority with the key of David (Rev. 3:7). God has prophetically called Singapore the Lion City, a city where the Lion of the tribe of Judah is enthroned. We pray for the Lion of the tribe of Judah to be glorified and enthroned in Singapore so that she may live out the fullness of her prophetic destiny as the Lion City. We also pray for the leaders in our nation to continue to lead and govern in righteousness. Here are some snippets of what we prayed over Singapore in the Prayer Room (1 Jan to 19 Feb 2015): On the 50th day of this 50-day of consecration and contending, our prayer is this, Father of glory, we thank You for inviting weak people like us in partnering with You in this 50-day of fasting, consecration and contending. Thank You for grace in sustaining us and revealing Your heart unto us during this season. Lord, continue to keep the fire of our heart burning. Grant even more grace to the next prayer-network who are taking over the next 50 days of fasting, consecration and contending! (Leviticus 6:13) On the 49th day. Holy Spirit, stir the hearts of the youth in schools all this nation. Blow the trumpet that they may gather all over their schools for sacred assembly time of consecration and contending. Just like what You did in the 70s which started the Clock Tower revival, do it again, O Holy Spirit. But we ask for an even greater revival to break forth among the youth in many schools! (Joel 2:12-17) On the 48th day. Father, we thank You for the Pioneer Generation of our nation. We contend for the salvation of these group of people. We pray for the revealing of Jesus upon their lives. Let Your light shine upon their hearts. Open the eyes of Your heart so that many would call upon the name of Jesus and be saved! (2 Corinthians 4:6) On the 47th day of the 50-day of consecration and contending, we contend for our governmental leaders over Singapore, PM, cabinet ministers, "Father, Your Word says that counsel is Yours, sound wisdom is Yours, understanding is Yours, strength is Yours, we pray for wisdom, foresight upon our leaders even as they lead this nation. We pray for strength, health upon our ministers.

2 Prayers for Singapore Page 2 On the 46th day "We pray for the Church in Singapore to fully understand Your heart and will in such a time as this and to walk and partner with You in understanding and wisdom. May she be fully engaged with Your heart and will, may she fully embrace Your Word with seriousness of heart, and may she be fully preoccupied with Jesus in wholehearted love!" Psalms 2:11-12, "Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son..." On the 45th day "As Your people in this nation, we repent of the ungodly 'criticism' of our government instead of giving of thanks and offering of prayers for them. God, we give thanks for the government that You have put in place in this nation and may You continue to bless them with Your wisdom that they will lead with righteousness, justice and the fear of God!" On the 43rd day "God, may You release godly wisdom upon the governmental leaders of Singapore to lead this nation. 'Cos Your Word says that by wisdom that kings reign and by wisdom rulers decree justice! Fill our PM, Ministers, MPs with Your wisdom!" On the 42nd day "God, may You capture the heart of the young generation, fashion their heart after Yours, establish their values in accordance to Your righteousness, so that they may remain blameless before You even in even as morality as a whole is declining." 1 Thessalonians 3:13, "...so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." (Part 2) On the 44th day "God, may The Church in Singapore put our confidence and our boast not in our wisdom, anointing, riches, size of ministry, popularity, etc. May our confidence and boast be in You, in knowing and understanding You. Oh, Father of glory, grant us spiritual understanding so that we know what matters to You!" Jeremiah 9:23-24, Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, nor let the rich man boast in his riches; but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, says the Lord. On the 42nd day "God, we pray that the people of God in this land will walk worthy of You and may the Church arise to live out the 'Joel 2' lifestyle as defined in Joel 2:12-17!" Colossians 1:10, "that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God..." (Part 1) On the 41st day "Father of glory, we contend for a Word of the season, a Word of God from the Throne of heaven for our nation!" 2 Thessalonians 3:1, "Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you..."

3 Prayers for Singapore Page 3 On the 40th day "Father of glory, would You raise up spiritual leaders with understanding of times, clarity and courage in speaking what is in Your heart, and wisdom to lead!" 1 Chronicles 12:32, "...of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do..." On the 39th day "Father of glory, strike the heart of Your people in this land with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing who Jesus is! Revelation so as to awaken unprecedented passion for Jesus! Wisdom in knowing what God desires for us that will cause to respond in the way that You 'require'!" Ephesians 1:17, "...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him..." On the 38th day "God, may You cause our nation to continue to walk in and choose the path of righteousness even as many nations turn away from Your ways!" Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." On the 37th day of the 50-day of consecration and contending, we remembered to pray for Houses of Prayer in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, "Lord, strengthen the Houses of Prayer in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc. May Your presence and love strengthen them and may You be the Reward in their heart!" Ephesians 3:16-17, "...that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love..." On the 36th day "Father, we contend fervently for the destiny of Singapore. May this nation walk in righteousness as defined by Your Word and may she live out the fullness of her call as the Antioch of Asia! We want our nation to be exalted by You!" Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." Colossians 4:12, "always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God." On the 35th day "Father, we contend for the young generation in this nation, may their character and values be established. May their hearts be fashioned in the absolute truth in according to Your Word! May they remain blameless in Your sight!" 2 Thessalonians 2:17, "...comfort your hearts and ESTABLISH you in every good WORD and work." On the 34th day "Lord, may You send the Word of the season to every pulpit and preacher in this nation. As one body, we want to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church in Singapore as one! May Your Word refresh every minister and establish every believer in this land!" Revelation 2:7, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches..." On the 33rd day "Lord, may Singapore live out fullness of her calling as the Antioch of Asia. May the Name of Jesus be known in this nation and may His fame be spread through Singapore to the nations!" Colossians 4:12, "...always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."

4 Prayers for Singapore Page 4 On the 32nd day "May Singapore continue to uphold justice, remain incorrupt, walking in righteousness and wisdom as defined by the Word of God! Deuteronomy 16:19-20, "You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you." merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. Who knows if He will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him - A grain offering and a drink offering. For the Lord your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, and the bride from her dressing room..." On the 31st day of the 50-day of consecration and contending, we contend for a Great Awakening for our nation, "God of heaven, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, visit Singapore in this year of Jubilee! Let there be a Great Awakening in this nation!" Isaiah 64:1, "Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down..." On the 30th day of the 50-day of consecration and contending, we are praying and contending for the Word of the season for Singapore as a nation, "Lord, what are You doing and what are You saying? Let Your Word come swiftly from the very Throne of heaven that we may proclaim and intercede!" Amos 3:7-8, "Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear! The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?" On this 29th day "O Lord, establish the Joel 2:12-17 lifestyle to be the spiritual DNA of Your people in this land! May sacred assemblies gather in consecration, contending and corporate seeking of Your face in prayers, not just for this season but continue until You return!" Joel 2:12-17, "Now, therefore, says the Lord turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and On the 28th day "Lord, may You work in the hearts of the young men and young women both to will and to do for Your good pleasure so that a generation of wholehearted lovers of God will arise, living lives of radical obedience, relentless trust and reckless abandonment!" 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12, "Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasureof His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ." On the 27th day "God, bring forth Great Awakening upon Singapore even in this Jubilee Year. Do what You did in America in 1700's and in 1800's and we ask for much more! May Your Kingdom break in to this nation!" Matthew 6:10, "May Your Kingdom come..." On this 26th day "God of Israel, would You arise to watch, protect and guard this beloved people and the chosen nation of Yours in the midst of rising anti-semitism! Arise, O God of Israel!" Psalms 121, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills - whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor

5 Prayers for Singapore Page 5 sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore." On the 25th day "May You grant understanding to Your people pertaining to the "new paradigm" of who You are and the "new things" that You are doing, in accordance to Your Word. May our heart not be offended with whatever that we do not fully understand!" Philippians 1:9-11, "And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." We are waiting, anticipating and expecting God to speak during this 50-day of consecration and contending. We don't go through this time of pressing unto God simply to hope for the best. 'Cos our God is alive and He delights in hearing our prayers and responding to us! We are expecting with confidence! Surely He will speak! Hosea 6:3, Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; His going out is sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth. On the 24th day "Father, we thank You for the few good men that You have raised up to lead Singapore in her pioneering years. May You continue to place righteous, God-fearing and good men/women in the government to lead this nation!" On the 23rd day "May Singapore continue to uphold justice and righteousness and be a nation of compassion and mercy. May we walk humbly even in the midst of success and prosperity!" Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" On the 22nd day "Lord, may You raise up revival centres all over this island that will birth forth young men and young women who will be wholehearted in love, radical in obeying You, live lives with reckless abandonment before You and trust You relentlessly!" 1 Thessalonians 3:13, "...so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." On the 21st day "God, visit our nation and pour out an unprecedented measure of Your Spirit in this land. We contend for a nation-wide revival! May the headline news for Singapore this year be this, 'Unprecedented Revival has broken out all over Singapore!'" Acts 2:17, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh..." On the 20th day "God, we acknowledge Your leadership over our nation in the last 50 years. May You continue to direct and establish Your plan over Singapore! May You continue to guard and keep her from evil!" 2 Thessalonians 3:1-4, "Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will

On the 19th day "May the people of God in Singapore have a biblical understanding of the mystery of Israel so that we may arise to pray, have a love for Israel and provoke her to jealousy! May Singapore as a nation continue and not waver in standing with Israel!" Romans 11:25, "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in." On this 18th day "God, may You continue to raise up capable, wise, righteous and God-fearing men and women in the government, cabinet, parliament and every sphere of society to lead this nation!" (Part 2) On this 18th day "Holy Spirit, escort the hearts of the people of God into the deep things and revelation of Jesus' heart! May Jesus take the absolute centre-stage in the Church! Awaken passion for Jesus!" 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.' But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God." (Part 1) On this 17th day "LORD, send revival unto Singapore! We are waiting, believing and contending for You to send fire from heaven to this land!" Acts 2:1-4, "When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." On the 16th day "May the future generation of our nation - young men and young women - remain blameless before Your sight and be established in the righteous values in accordance to Your Word!" Philippians 2:15, "that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world..." On the 15th day "May the Church in Singapore know Jesus intimately, be filled with the power of God and walk fully in the 'Sermon on the Mount' lifestyle!" Philippians 3:10, "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death..." On the 14th day "Reveal Your heart for Singapore Lord, that we may walk in Your path."

7 Prayers for Singapore Page 7 On the 12th day "God, may You cause the believers among the youth and young people to love the Scriptures, to know the Bible and to be established in Your truths in according to Your Word" 2 Thessalonians 2:17, "...comfort your hearts and ESTABLISH you in every good WORD and work." (Part 2) "LORD, may You release the Word of the season to the pastors and leaders of this land as they gather this week at the Pastors' Summit so that they may know with clarity and certainty the heart and will of the Father for Singapore in this Jubilee year!" 2 Thessalonians 3:1, "Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you..." (Part 1) On the 5th day "May Singapore cry out to the Desire of All Nations, 'Come, Lord Jesus! Come to this Lion City, Lion of the tribe of Judah!' May Singapore as a nation turn to Jesus Christ!" (Hag. 2:7; Rev. 22:17) On the 4th day "LORD, raise up a company of Your friends of the Bridegroom who will keep watch, be fully pre-occupied with You and fully engaged with what is in Your heart! John 3:28-29, "You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but, I have been sent before Him. He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled." On the 11th day "May we be fully ENGAGED with the heart and will of the Father in prayers! May our hearts be fully PRE-OCCUPIED with Jesus in wholehearted love!" Psalm 2:11-12, "Serve the Lord with fear... Kiss the Son..." On the 8th day "May Singapore as a nation fully agree with You in the Day of Your power! Father, we say 'yes' to all that is in Your heart, desire, plan and will!" (Psalm 110:3) On the 7th day "God, reveal Your heart and will for Singapore so that we can pray in accordance to Your heart. May Your Kingdom come and may Your will be done in Singapore and through Singapore!"
