Youth Ministry@Block Blessing Outreach: TODAY A cluster of Sec 1 & 2 youths will be moving out in power and love to be a blessing to the community through their actions and friendships. The youths will reach out to needy families around Serangoon Ave 4 TODAY. All parents and guardians of the participating youths should have received letters with more information on the outreach. The programme will end at 1.30pm and the youths will be dismissed from PLMC's Fellowship Hall. Children's Ministry Shiny Tots Ministry Calling all parents and guardians of toddlers, from 12-30months! There is a toddlers ministry that is held every Sunday, except the 1st Sunday of the month. 4 Christmas Carnival 2017: Welcome our Neighbour; Welcome Christ This year we are celebrating Christmas with a difference. It will be others centred. Christmas Carnival 2017 with the theme Welcome our Neighbour; Welcome Christ has in mind our guests the beneficiaries of PLMC s outreach, partner social agencies within our 5km radius, neighbouring residents from Braddell Heights, Ang Mo Kio-Hougang and Aljunied Constituencies. We received overwhelming response for volunteers to be helpers, befrienders, drivers, crowd control, stall ICs, performers and more. Thank you for rising up to the occasion to serve. If you are wondering how you can be a part of this meaningful carnival to bless the community, we are still looking for cash donations for the goodie bags and the draw prizes. 5 DivorceCare DivorceCare is a support group that meets fortnightly for 13 sessions on Tuesdays from 7.30pm-9.30pm. You ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and come to see your group as an oasis in an otherwise difficult season of your life. Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. For more details, please Grace at grace@plmc.org. Trackers 2018 Trackers is a 3-month discipleship programme for youths in transition. Designed to effect value change, the four-tier training approach builds you through biblical learning, mentoring relationships, missions exposure and local internship involvement. If you are finishing your O levels, A levels, or National Service, board onto Trackers to strengthen your relationship with God and be sent off in the right direction for the next phase of your life. 7 prayerfocus MISSIONS MEKONG John Lim 1) Praise God for the month of October where 2 ILI Conferences were conducted, training 104 Pastors, leaders and missionaries 40 missionaries were from the unrest area of Rakhine when we had a time of renewing, encouraging and praying for them. 2) Pray for Thailand s Churches as they prepare for next year s budget and propose leaders for receiving the preacher s license. Boonchiaw 1) Pray for the members of God is Good churches in Chonburi and Bueng Kan to grow in maturity as they serve and are built up in the body of Christ. 2) Pray for journey mercies for Boonchiaw and his team as they travel to i) Udon Thani to facilitate ILI Regional Conference, ii) God is Good Church Bueng Kan to plan for an upcoming Missions trip by PLMC, iii) Maesot, and iv) Myawaddy, Myanmar. 3) Pray for PLMC s choir that will be on a missions trip from 30th November to 4th December 2017 to partner the Chonburi Churches to present an evangelistic event Merry Christmas. B & L 1) Pray for B and L as they will be in USA from 16th to 28th November for their daughter, D s, wedding. Their prayer is for a meaningful time of honoring our Father for His faithfulness in D s life. Pray for the guests to be touched and drawn to worship Him. 2) Pray for B & L to have wisdom to know how to prioritize responses to the requests from different places for them to train their people in teaching English with Kingdom values and purposes. KG & C 1) Pray for J, a student who for the past few months has been having a difficult time with her colleagues whilst doing her internship at a hotel. 2) Pray for God to grant KG & C wisdom as they minister to J. Pray that J will have peace and learn to pray and trust God to bring good out of the situation.

8 East Asia Songs 1) Pray for speedy recovery for Joseph s elderly father as he recovers from a disc surgery on 1st November ) Pray for one of the TAN-NW worker who is setting up a cultural center as a channel for positively influencing the local community, especially families and children. Anna Joy 1) Pray for the confirmation of plans as Anna embarks onto a new 4-year term with the Methodist Missions Society after their first term ends in November ) Pray for their preparation as they adjust to a new arrangement of ministry. SKI 1) Pray for the new heating system at the university to be up and running soon as temperatures have been dropping to below zero degrees in the evening and many have fallen ill. 2) Pray for the university as it has opted for privatization instead of surrendering the university to the government. Pray for more new students to enroll in the university as the government requires an enrolment of 5000 students in contrast to the 1700 students currently enrolled over the past 25 years for the university to continue running. Eve 1) Pray for the condition and size of Eve s heart as she desires to be humble of heart and not prideful when she relates to God and His people. 2) Pray for God to enable Eve as a discipleship opportunity has presented itself for her to teach young children at Sunday School. Middle East CT 1) Pray for CT to obey and join the team that God is calling her to join. 2) Pray for CT to find an appropriate housing to live in from December 2017 onwards.

9 Central Asia ZY 1) Pray for ZY as she settles back into the country and prepares for winter that is coming soon. Pray that God will provide for all things including health, warmth, joy and opportunities. 2) Praise God for new team mates who are encouraging and to be able to move in to a new place. Pray for ZY as she negotiates and juggles her new work responsibilities. PARA-CHURCH WORKERS Navigators Singapore Roger Yeo 1) Pray for Roger and Pearlyn that it would be a fruitful time of re-focusing on God as the ministry goes for a retreat from the 9th to 12th December The theme of the retreat is based on Matthew 4:19. 2) Pray for Roger and Pearlyn that as they continue to relate to people in tech, they would come across available people who want to study the Bible and pre-believers who want to learn about Jesus. Fellowship of Evangelical Students Siah May Lan 1) Praise God for a good camp for James Cook University Christian Fellowship and pray for God to raise up new student leaders to serve next year. 2) Pray for May Lan to have complete healing for her hyperthyroid and its symptoms. Cru Singapore Nigel Ho 1) Pray for Nigel to have a healthy and holy body to serve the Lord. 2) Pray for Nigel to trust in God s power and sovereignty in the SMU ministry. YWAM Singapore Beatrice Wee 1) Pray for Beatrice to experience provision for certain needs and situations. 2) Pray for Beatrice to be realigned and focused on loving Jesus and others amidst the work. Wycliffe Singapore Grace Tan 1) Pray for Grace as she has been involved in coordinating the translation of certain materials. Pray for a smooth start in November and for every-

10 thing to roll forward smoothly and be finished in good time (within 3 to 4 months). 2) Pray for continued good health for Grace and her brother Russel.
