2 This Is A Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 A musician went to visit his aged music teacher. While there, the teacher struck a tuning fork and said, "That is A." Just then, singing could be heard from the floor above. "She sings sharp" said the old teacher. He struck the tuning fork again. "But this is A. Always has been, always will be; 440 vibrations per second. It will be the same 5,000 years from now." At times it feels like everything around us is constantly changing; sometimes for the better and sometimes for worse. Babies are born, loved ones die, kids go off to college, friends drift in and out of our lives, jobs change, looks change, health changes. Whenever we begin to feel uncertain about our lives, all we have to do is strike the tuning fork of our faith and remember that God always has been, is now and always will be the same--an immovable Rock upon which we can rely. And if we cling to that Rock, though the winds of change may blow, our foundation will remain steady and strong. God is unchanging in His love. He loves you. He has a plan for your life. Don't let the newspaper headlines frighten you. God is still sovereign; He's still on the throne. Billy Graham Read-Thru-the-Bible Philippians 3 Philippians 4 * David Jeremiah Recommended Reading Psalm 62: 5-8 W o r s h i p S e r v i c e

5 Psalm 1:1-6 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (KJV) The Holy Bible King James Version

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ s body. We are all parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others. God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you. If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job teaching. If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don t just pretend that you love others, really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand
