BOOKS 1 (p.b.) indicates paperback; all other books are hardback AN ALPHABETICAL ANALYSIS of terms and texts used in the study of the Scriptures under four aspects of truth. Charles H. Welch Part 1 Dispensational Truth A to E 286 pages Part 2 Dispensational Truth F to L 286 pages Part 3 Dispensational Truth M to P 298 pages Part 4 Dispensational Truth R to S 267 pages Part 5 Dispensational Truth T to W 435 pages Part 6 Doctrinal (Fundamental Truth) A to K 365 pages Part 7 Doctrinal (Fundamental Truth) L to W 392 pages Part 8 Prophetic Truth A to L 397 pages Part 9 Prophetic Truth M to Z 295 pages Part 10 Practical Truth A to Z 374 pages This ten volume series comprehends the lifetime work of the late Charles H. Welch. These volumes will be of service to all Bible students provided they are prepared to consider carefully all that has been written in good faith but with the author's added proviso - 'Search the Scriptures' to see if what is advocated stands the acid test of the Word of God. The central and fundamental object of the entire scope of this erudite work was 'the pre-eminence of the Son of God'. Dispensational, Doctrinal, Prophetic or Practical teaching must centre upon the office of the 'ONE MEDIATOR' Christ Jesus the Lord and to realise that 'Christ is all and in all'. If Christ Jesus is given the first place, then it is truly believed that these ten volumes will provide the honest seeker for truth with a wealth of information which will enrich their knowledge of the sacred Scriptures of truth and at the same time glorify the Lord Jesus Christ who truly is both the living and the written Word of God.

2 BOOKS In the introduction to part three of this series the Author says: 'The insistence of Dr. E.W. Bullinger upon the need "Rightly to divide the Word of truth" and to "Try the things that differ" especially with regard to the several callings made known in the Scriptures, prepared our minds to consider Acts 28 as a "Dispensational Frontier". Perhaps the present writer's contribution to the opening up of the Scriptures, dispensationally, could be expressed as follows: While other students of the Word saw that the rejection at Acts 28 was a crisis, few if any looked upon it as of vital importance. They seem to have come up to the closing chapter of the Acts, and then turned back to epistles like Corinthians as the basis of their assembly and their hope, whereas, when we come to Acts 28 and realised that it was a frontier and that another sphere of blessing lay beyond, we simply said: "LET US CROSS OVER, AND SEE THIS GOOD LAND'". This we did... Main articles are printed in full capitals thus: ADOPTION. Subsidiary articles are printed thus: ASCENSION. RECKONING7 refers to the article with that heading in Part 7 of An Alphabetical Analysis. Please ignore the article 'the' when using the Index, i.e. 'The Fathers' appears simply as 'Fathers' and so throughout.

BOOKS 19 THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES AND AFTERWARDS 264 pages (p.b.) Stuart Allen A detailed exposition of this key book of the New Testament. The importance of the Acts of the Apostles in the plan and purposes of God in Christ cannot be stressed too much. THE APOSTLE OF THE RECONCILIATION 337 pages Charles H. Welch This book develops the conclusions reached in Dispensational Truth. A dispensation is an administration, or stewardship. Jew, Gentile, Church of God, etc., provide dispensational distinctions as dealt with by God. Our Lord, rejected by the Jews during His lifetime was, after the crucifixion, offered again by God conditional upon the repentance of the nation. Our book reviews historical conditions and considers the epistles written during these years when God's offer was open to the Jewish nation and to such Gentiles who, as the figure shows, were grafted into Israel's olive tree. Romans, Galatians, and 1 and 2 Corinthians all contribute to the aspect of reconciliation. DISPENSATIONAL TRUTH 263 pages Charles H. Welch Published in 1912 this was the author's first full length book. Early chapters are planned to give a firm foundation for the study of the Bible. The full inspiration of the Bible is considered and supported. Terms are explained, and it is shown that while each book has been written with a purpose and has instruction for all, yet each has a particular application to certain people. With this basis the author exhibits how the Bible reveals the purposes of God, which are seen to have earthly as well as heavenly implications, and need to be carefully compared with traditional doctrines. A book that will be useful and absorbing from spiritual infancy to manhood.

20 BOOKS THE EARLY AND PASTORAL LETTERS OF PAUL 357 pages (p.b.) Stuart Allen In this book the author goes into depth with an exposition of 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Corinthians, 1 Timothy and Titus. Each book has a detailed background to it, helping the reader to understand the position and thoughts of that day and each chapter of each epistle is dealt with separately. THE FORM OF SOUND WORDS 140 pages Charles H. We1ch The basis of this book is the warning of the apostle Paul against 'a form of godliness' (2 Tim. 3:5) as contrasted with the necessity to hold fast the 'form of sound words' which had been heard of him, and which he expected Timothy to commit to faithful men who would teach others also (2 Tim. 1:13,2:2). Other features such as 'The inspiration of Scripture', 'God manifest in the flesh', and 'Three spheres of blessing' are dealt with in the express terms of Paul's teaching. FROM PENTECOST TO PRISON 407 pages Charles H. We1ch This book covers the historical account of the Acts of the Apostles. Like all Scripture inspired by the Holy Spirit the selection of events, personal incidents, and especially the emergence of Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, is pregnant with meaning and illuminates the epistles that were written at the various stages in the development of God's plans. Every chapter is an absorbing study. THE GALATIAN AND ROMAN EPISTLES OF PAUL 188 pages (p.b.) Stuart Allen The epistle to the Galatians was written before that to the Romans, and the likeness is noticeable. Paul taught the same truth on which he enlarges in the later epistle to the Romans. The Galatian epistle sets out in startling contrast the freedom of the gospel and the bondage of the law. The Roman epistle contains basic doctrine for all believers, then and now, and this volume is presented with the prayer that it will aid the reader to be enlightened in these most vital principles.

BOOKS 21 IN HEAVENLY PLACES 431 pages Charles H. Welch An exposition of the Epistle to the Ephesians. The subject matter is cast in a different mould from other works on Ephesians, challenging the reader to new avenues of thought and leading to a consideration of God's grace as revealed through the apostle Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for us Gentiles (Eph. 3: 1-9). JOB, THE BOOK OF and The Enigma of the Ages 90 pages Charles H. Welch This work probes the problem of suffering as it is presented to us in the Book of Job. Here we find the enmity between the two seeds which underlies the problem of the ages, and the over-ruling grace of God bending all things to the accomplishing of His 'end result', so that the sufferer will finally 'come forth as gold'. JUST AND THE JUSTIFIER 352 pages (p.b.) Charles H. Welch An exposition of the epistle to the Romans. The text that brought about the Reformation, namely 'The Just shall live by Faith' is the backbone of this volume. Righteousness is doctrinally and practically considered. Key words are examined for their true meanings, and structures of the subject matter given throughout. Here is exhibited 'The Power of God unto Salvation' (Rom. 1: 16). THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH 191 pages (p.b.) Stuart Allen A detailed study of Bible verses from Genesis to Revelation relating to the kingdom of God, carefully examining the significance of the Scriptures. A book for the mature Christian and thoughtful reading for every preacher. LETTERS FROM PRISON 334 pages (p.b.) Stuart Allen A verse by verse exposition of the prison epistles of the apostle Paul: Ephesians, Colossians, Philemon, Philippians and 2 Timothy.

22 BOOKS LIFE THROUGH HIS NAME An exposition of John's Gospel 578 pages Charles H. Welch The title underlies a dominant theme which runs through John's gospel. The wonderful exposition of a book which is particularly applicable to the world today, reveals, as never before, the purpose of John in writing this gospel some 50 years after our Lord's crucifixion. The first essential is 'Life'. In this book Christ is set forth as the Bread of Life, the Light of Life, and the Resurrection and the Life. THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO LUKE 232 pages Stuart Allen A verse by verse exposition of what Renan called 'the most beautiful book in the world', written in an 'easy to understand' manner. ON READING THE BIBLE 92 pages Stuart Allen Written in response to the question, 'Where does one start in reading the Bible?' A book suitable for the early Christian and young believer, though doubtless many mature believers will find interest and profit in it. PARABLE, MIRACLE AND SIGN 236 pages Charles H. Welch In this book the Parables, Miracles and Signs contained in the Gospels of Matthew and John are considered from the dispensational point of view. Such great passages as The Sermon on the Mount, The parables of Matthew 13, The prophetic discourse of Matthew 24 and The eight 'signs' in John's Gospel, have much fresh light brought to them.

BOOKS 23 PERFECTION OR PERDITION? 490 pages Charles H. Welch and Stuart Allen This book consists of articles in The Berean Expositor on the human authorship of the epistle to the Hebrews, by Stuart Allen, and the expository studies by C.H. Welch. We consider these to be some of the finest Mr. Welch gave, and this book makes a valuable contribution to the exposition of this important epistle which stands in relationship to the Acts period, as the epistle to the Philippians does with the Body of Christ revealed in Paul's prison letters. Both deal with the maturity of the believer with a prize or crown in view. THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING 245 pages Charles H. Welch A full examination of Philippians is set forth. The radical distinction between 'The Hope' and 'The Prize' of our high calling is explained. Key texts such as 'to depart and be with Christ', the 'out-resurrection', the 'Form of God' are examined. SATISFIED 104 pages Charles H. Welch A study of five spiritual values under the headings: All Spiritual Blessings, Rags or Robes, All of One (Reb. 2:11), The Lord's Anointed, and Satisfied. THE TESTIMONY OF THE LORD'S PRISONER 359 pages (p.b.) Charles R. Welch This study covers the apostle Paul's prison ministry, which is the last revelation of the ascended Christ enshrined in Ephesians, Colossians, Philippians and 2 Timothy. For those able to receive it, here is God's highest calling for man, Jew or Gentile, available at this time while Christ is rejected by the nation of Israel. It is independent of the hope of Israel and concerns the Church which is His Body destined to be seated with Christ Jesus at the right hand of God in the heavenly places.

24 BOOKS THE TESTIMONY OF DANIEL & THIS PROPHECY 463 pages Charles H. Welch This is an exposition of the Book of Daniel as an introduction to a comprehensive study of the Book of the Revelation which concerns 'The Day of the Lord' (Rev. 1: 10). This is the Day when the apokalupsis (revealing) of the Lord will take place, and much referred to by O.T. prophets. Consequently Mr. Welch refers considerably to these sources. Here is a truly Scriptural approach to this last book of the Bible free from human ideas and traditions. THE UNFOLDING PURPOSE OF GOD 260 pages Stuart Allen A simply written introduction to the Bible. God's wonderful plan of redemption is followed step by step, leading up to the message given by the Risen Christ to Paul for us Gentiles. This is a book that will appeal to all ages and stages of spiritual development. THE VOLUME OF THE BOOK 307 pages Charles H. Welch This deals with the manner in which the Holy Scriptures have come down to us in the form of the various versions and manuscripts. The Apocrypha is also dealt with and at the back of the book are nine black and white, and one colour illustrations.

PAPERBACK BOOKLETS 27 THE DOCTRINE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT 39 pages Stuart Allen A brief Biblical study of the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. THE EARlYCENTUmES AND THE TRUTH 42 pages Stuart Allen An interesting examination of the teaching of the Fathers during the first three or four centuries, showing how quickly they had departed from the doctrine of the apostle Paul. The partial rediscovery of the truth by those nearer our day such as J.N. Darby is also touched upon. THE EASTERN QUESTION 20 pages Charles H. Welch This booklet, written in 1957 at the time of the Suez trouble, is even more relevant in the light of subsequent events in the Middle East. ECCLESIASTES 95 pages Charles H. 15 PAPERBACK BOOKLETS 29 HELL or 'Pure from the Blood of All Men' 50 pages Charles H. Welch The reader is enabled by this clear exposition to examine afresh the traditional ideas of the immortality of the Soul, Hell, and kindred subjects. It is not the author's opinions that are put forward but what the Scriptures show, and that not in the light of restricted texts but all texts in their true context and setting. THE INTERPRETATION OF SCRIPTURE 60 pages Stuart Allen The reader is here put in possession of a guide, which if followed, will make the Bible a more meaningful book; will allow it to speak with Divine authority, and deliver it from the dependence upon Man. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, GOD OR ONLY MAN? 20 pages Stuart Allen This sets out in the clearest possible manner exactly how the Bible sets its seal upon the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is absolutely necessary if we are to get a correct understanding of the mind and purpose of God as revealed to us in the Scriptures.

30 PAPERBACK BOOKLETS THE MEANING OF SALVATION 25 pages Brian Sherring This booklet was originally written for use by the younger generation. Where one is born again and is, as it were, a babe in Christ, it is helpful even to an adult in years to have spiritual matters spelt out in an easy fashion. We hope therefore that this issue will serve a wider range of readers. NONE OTHER THINGS 41 pages Charles H. Welch A series of Bible Studies on Acts 26:22, which were first published in the Berean Expositor in PENTECOST 27 pages Stuart Allen Written by Mr. Allen in This is a reply to the question 'Did "The Church which is His Body" begin at Pentecost?' 19 PAPERBACK BOOKLETS 33 TRUE FROM THE BEGINNING 52 pages Charles H. Welch Evidence is given, both internal and external, that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God. The booklet sets before the reader the testimony of the Scriptures themselves, the 'Fathers', archaeology, and also the Saviour Himself. A concluding theme presents the case for 'right division'. There are also three diagrams to illustrate the subject. Where believers are sceptical or suspicious this booklet has many times won confidence and given opportunity for further witness. UNITED YET DIVIDED 40 pages Charles H. Welch Originally reviewed by the late Dr. W.H. Griffith Thomas who wrote: 'This booklet deals with the important subject of Dispensational Teaching and shows the vital necessity and spiritual importance of "rightly dividing the Word of Truth". This fundamental principle is clearly and convincingly set forth and deserves the thorough and constant attention of all Bible Students. The author's application of the principle is that the dispensational boundary is not Pentecost but Acts 28: While he believes that "a" church began at Pentecost, "the" Church which is Christ's Body did not begin until the last Jewish rejection of the Gospel recorded in Acts 28 took place. On this account that chapter is the boundary line. Without necessarily accepting every position laid down, the booklet is of real value and deserves the thorough consideration of "all who love the Truth'''. THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT AND OF THE FAITH 50 pages Charles H. Welch A study of the walk that is worthy, and the associated 'perfecting' and 'edifying' of the Body of Christ. WHO THEN IS PAUL? 29 pages Charles H. Welch A further sequel to The Dispensational Frontier glvrng a consideration of the man Paul and his office and relationship to the Gentiles.

34 PAPERBACK BOOKLETS WISDOM, HUMAN AND DIVINE 51 pages Charles H. Welch Being a comparison of the groping after the truth of the ancient philosophers with the truth as it is revealed in the Scriptures, in order that the believer may better appreciate the superiority of the Word of God. WORLD CONDITIONS AND THE END OF THE AGE 14 pages Stuart Allen Written in 1977 after many requests that something should be written on the subject of the state of the world at that time, the Author set out the broad plan only of future events as revealed in the Scriptures. It is hoped this will provide a groundwork upon which the reader can build, filling in the details for himself from the Scriptures themselves. ZION, THE OVERCOMER AND THE MILLENNIUM 34 pages Charles H. Welch The character and context of the Millennium is examined, having regard especially to its association with the Overcomer.
