It is not saying that God is for us in that he is always taking our view of things or that he wants whatever we want for ourselves. 22 Shame was the first emotion mentioned in the Bible. In a perfect creation, Adam and Eve felt no shame. But ever since sin has entered the story, Satan, our consistent accuser, has one powerful, emotional weapon that robs the joy from the lives of most Christians His weapon: shame! C. Thomas
