1 It s All in the Seed Bringing in 2016: The Great Year of the Plan of God Rev. Kenneth Copeland December 31, 2015 Word of the Lord: I Was the One Word of the Lord: 2016 the Great Year! The great year of Whatever your faith in your heart can believe, you can have it in Whatever! Don t start backing down and making room for what you can do. If you start putting things on there that are possible, if you re putting things on there that you can do, I don t get any glory out of that. Step on out there. Get in My Word and step out with your faith. Let Me show you My grace in 2016 and let Me manifest Myself in your life in the land of the living. I want others to see it. When we get through with 2016, you re going to have a testimony. If you can find scripture for it and you can believe for it, in 2016 you can have it. It s All in the Seed I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Seed = Word of God Ephesians 2:4-14 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. God didn t say Let there be light ; He said Light be and light was A different attitude than let it be (like something was holding it back) He commanded it Light in this verse: not sunshine, but light energy, the glory 1

2 Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, This is not the Creator talking about a man; this is God creating the man He formed his body out of the dirt with His hands, but it had no life in it Those were seeds Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. John 1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. If all things were made by Him, then all things were made by the Word Hebrew root for thing is word In all of those beginning words (e.g., light be ), He released a manifestation of His glory that had never been seen before; He released matter In Him was life = in the Word is life; His Word is life to those that find it and health to all their flesh the Word is the seed; the health is in the seed, the life is in the seed Luke 1:26-28 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. In Genesis, those were word seeds, spoken by God. Everything God was was in those words; consequently, everything God was was in Adam and Adam became everything that God is (in His likeness and in His image) In Luke, the same thing was happening to Mary; God s own personal messenger was sent with specific words from God Every word that comes out of Gabriel s mouth is happening as he s saying them; these are word seeds from heaven Blessed/blessing : God blessed Adam, crowned him with His glory, saying Fruitful, be. (He wasn t fruitful until He said that.) The blessing God was using force called blessing when He created this universe. Then He put the force on Adam called blessing with which to run this universe. 3 Mary blessed, in that word was every word spoken in the covenant of God concerning Jesus. Messiah = anointed, anointing = Christ Isaiah 11:1-3 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: Isaiah 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Every word from Genesis to Malachi, spoken about Jesus, was in the word blessed that Gabriel said to Mary Luke 1:29-38 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Every word he said to her were word seeds Verse 38: Be it unto me, according to thy word she mixed faith with the Word of God and 9 months later gave birth John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. Everything Jesus was, did, and said, while He was on the earth, was in that seed; those words became the seed. If there was something that was not in that seed, then it was corruptible. The Holy Spirit hovered over her. Those words (grace, favor, blessing) o What blessing? The blessing of Abraham o When God made promise to Abraham, He was making promise to Jesus and His seed (one seed which is Christ, the Anointed One). All of that was in the word that Gabriel gave to Mary; it was what gave birth to Jesus and brought Him into this earth o Galatians 3 and if you be Abraham s seed, you are heirs of the promise o God wasn t after Jesus He already had Jesus He s after you Ephesians 2:5-6,8 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: For by grace are ye saved through faith; 3

4 By His grace and favor The same active agent that was working in Mary s womb = grace, which is the Spirit of God Himself Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, The reason it s impossible to please God without faith it is by faith, so that it might be by grace (not the other way around). The grace came on Mary, but when she believed what God said and said, Be it done unto me, she mixed faith and the grace went into action. Ephesians 2:8, 10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. The grace was the active agent, through faith. Faith was the connection. Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Philippians 2:7-8 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Jesus made Himself obedient to death. He had to die by faith, because He never sinned; there was no death in Him. When Jesus was tempted by satan and said It is written, those words came from the seed; it was already in there. Jesus made Himself obedient to death and God laid on Him all sin, all sickness, all disease (the entire curse of the law). He was made a curse for us that we might receive the blessing of Abraham. Without that, we wouldn t have a chance, but He went to hell and suffered the punishment for Adam s treason. He was manifest in the flesh but He was made alive in the Spirit. Jesus did not become the Son of God when He was born in Bethlehem. He and the Father were one, had always been one. But through that word seed He became man. Hebrews 1:5-12 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are 4

5 the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. This isn t the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among us; this is the Word calling His dead, separated-from-god Spirit in hell, to be reborn. These words were spoken and went into the bowels of this earth and struck what Isaiah saw in the Spirit (Isaiah 52:14). In the midst of that horror, these words struck that emaciated, twisted, dead spirit. He was no longer the Son of God; He was separated from God (prophesied in Psalm 22). Verse 5: God is speaking word seeds (again I will be to Him a Father no longer separated) Everything that God is was in that seed (those words). Those word seeds raised Jesus out of hell, and He went back up into the garden of the tomb, stepped into that body, and all the word seeds that had been spoken of His resurrection came to pass. (He will not leave My soul in hell neither will He allow the Holy One to see corruption Psalm 16:10) His body was buried an earthly body but raised a supernatural, heavenly body glorified body. Born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible seed by the Word of God which lives and abides forever. This scripture is the seed that was His new birth, the seed that gave you life. You were born again of those same words. (Romans 10 with the heart man believes, but with the mouth confession is made faith is released) The moment you believed that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confessed with your mouth that He is Lord, Hebrews 1 was released inside you and the very same new birth that brought Him out of hell caused you to be reborn. Any person that is in Christ is a new creation; old things are passed away. We re the kings Jesus is King of, the lords that He is Lord of. We are joint heirs (Romans 8). The same words that raised Jesus up and set Him at the right hand of the Father, raised us up and set us right next to Him. It s not big Jesus and little bitty you. You were born again, not of incorruptible seed. By the Word of God, which lives and abides forever, all that you will ever need throughout eternity is in there right now. It s in that seed. It was the same seed that pulled Jesus up out of hell. It s in you right now all the healing, all the health, is inside you right now. There are new disks for your spine inside you right now. All the power, everything Jesus was, is, and will ever be is in that seed that raised Him up out of hell and it s in you! The divine nature of God is inside you; you don t have the nature of sin inside you. The Word that rose up drove that out of your spirit. When you allow this to come alive on the inside of you, God doesn t need to come down from heaven and put his hand on your fevered brow He s not going to, because His hand is on the inside of you. If you want His hand on your head, look inside. In the mind of God, there s not any poor or sick all the sickness, all the sin, all the disease was put on Jesus. There is no such thing as an insignificant human being. All of that is in that curse, and Jesus bore it. There was an awesome price paid for you so don t go around saying you re insignificant. There is no such thing as insignificant human person; there is no such thing as an insignificant calling. If you took the smallest little born again person with the smallest job in the entire body of Christ, Jesus says you re more powerful than the most powerful prophet of the Old Covenant, and you 5

6 own the kingdom of God. And if you really knew and understood what heaven has set aside to finance your little tiny calling you would be shocked to find out that this thing is not as small as you ve been thinking. We have been blessed with all blessings in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus. It s in the seed. The Divine Nature is in Us II Peter 1:1-4 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Putting Faith with the Seed Mark 10:28-30 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. The seed is in the ground; now put some faith with it The money isn t the seed; it doesn t have any life in it. It is the husk. You have to put some Word life in there Then go to the seed bin. Mark 11:23-24 For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, b e thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. This is what Jesus said the process was I desire $10,000; I need $10,000. You said in Your Word that You d supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory, and You said that He that gives for My sake and the gospel s, I d receive a hundredfold. I have put $100 in this man of God s hand for the sake of the gospel, and now I m after this hundredfold. That s what I desire. I receive today; I release my faith in Your Word, Father, in the name of Jesus. And I take my $10,000. Be it done unto me as You have spoken. (Now my spirit s involved. That $10,000 is in that seed that caused me to be born again. Everything s in that seed. Throughout eternity, everything that I will ever need is in that seed.) Faith is the substance of things not seen, the evidence of things hoped for. My hope was a hundredfold, according to the promise. I released my faith. If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, it s in you the faith of God is in you, the righteousness of God is in you, a perfect Spirit man is in you, a perfect soul is in you, a perfect physical body is inside your spirit right now. It s in the seed. And all the finances you could 6

7 dream of ever needing is on the inside of you because, according to the words of Jesus, the kingdom of God is in you now the Great Year of. Word of the Lord through Charles Green In this great year, we shall not walk in fear. If the devil can get you to be afraid, then he s got you defeated. But if we will not walk in fear, we will walk in faith and therefore the seed in us will produce the goods the great year of the plan of God! 7
