6 Join us in the Chancel Choir for practice each Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. (Note new time of practice). The choir is working hard to present the Christmas Cantata. Cast Members Needed A few weeks ago a sheet was included in the bulletin asking for volunteers for the drama. We are still searching for two adult men and two adult women for cast members. The lines will be simple and you can even ad lib. Glenda Bracken also needs a coordinator of the cast and someone to handle the lights. The drama will add so much to the cantata. Please step up and help out! The flower arrangement in the sanctuary is given to the glory of God, and in celebration of Bill & Sara Seelman s 47th wedding anniversary. Spots available for September, October, November & December for placement of flowers There is a sign up list at the desk at Guest Central for placing flowers in the sanctuary for Sunday services. The cost is $30. You can request flowers in honor of or in memory of someone. The Church Secretary will place the order for the flowers. Feel free to take your flowers following the service.

8 We have a Cry Room available in the vestibule for parents who need it during our worship services. Our nursery is available for infants and toddlers thru age 3 in the Children s Building (building beside Main Sanctuary). After the Children s Moment, children ages 4 thru 2nd grade are invited to attend Children s Church. They may be picked up in the Children s Building (Noah s Shipyard room) following the service. (Matthew 25:35a GNT) Manna Food Bank Donations We have a box in the front of the Church for food donations Please remember that there is an increased need for food during the summer months when children are not in school. We donated 161 lbs. to Manna Food Bank this month. Our thanks to Ben Ballard for delivering our donations to Manna. MEGAN S LOVE Megan s Love is our ministry to the homeless in Pensacola. Anyone who would like to lend a hand preparing meals and/or taking them to be distributed in Pensacola is encouraged to meet other volunteers in the Gym kitchen at 11 a.m. on Saturdays. If helping with distribution, return to Pace is around 1:00. Thanks for the donations of bug spray! KENYA HYGIENE KITS Many hours, many hands and much love have been involved in making the feminine hygiene kits. We have completed 200 kits. All sewing is complete! The kits still need to be packed for shipment to Molo, Kenya with Project 82 Kenya. The next Meeting is : Thursday, September 5:30 Pack the Kits We need many hands to help with packing the kits.
