The weekly ministry needs are the same for June. Should all parties approve the proposed three-year Shared Pastoral Agreement, the ministry needs for TLC for the latter half of 2017 will decrease, as they will be shared more evenly with Immanuel Lutheran Church, Colfax - with whom to date our Agreement has been on an Interim basis. Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury and Immanuel Lutheran Church, Colfax under that Agreement will continue to engage in their own distinct ministries, inviting the other as opportunities seem fit (examples: 2016 God s Work. Our Hands. service day, and 2017 Lenten midweek + Holy Week). The possibility of sharing together in an area confirmation class is being considered, with the invitation already confirmed from the six congregations of the Servants United parish (Gibson City, Anchor, Chenoa, Cornell, Dwight, and Sibley), and with additional interest from Forrest and Gardner. The Sunday morning schedule would continue as it has since May 1, :30 a.m. worship TLC 10:00 a.m. worship Immanuel Sunday School at TLC has followed worship, and at Immanuel has preceded worship. Our councils will visit the possibility of an annual flip in Sunday morning schedule, transitioning each summer, beginning If so, each congregation would then have the schedule the other has at present. Jesus mission to share the good news through TLC means your faith active in love. This summer offers the needs and giving that come with our community - God s Garden, and weekly Sunday worship. This fall Jesus calls upon our children and adults to invest themselves in Sunday School planning and class. We have need to improve a lay visitation system that will complement our shut-ins time with pastor. Our Monday sewers have room for you! Our WELCA and Wednesday devotional group continue to Gather in God s Word. What is your place/ministry?!

Secretary s Report: Gail Huling moved the report be accepted as written. Carl Tull second. Motion carried. Treasurer s Report: Pastor Tom moved that the report be accepted as written. Katie Ricketts Second. Motion carried. Liz Freeland moved that Andrew Quain be appointed to the vacant council position. Carl Tull second. Motion carried. Pastor Tom moved that Waylon Ray Langel be accepted for membership. Gail Huling second. Motion carried. Update on God s Garden. Update on office toilet: Office toilet paid for. Parsonage toilet to be replaced with funds collected. Discussion of allowing same-gender marriage was tabled. Informal meeting scheduled for June 4 th following worship to discuss shared pastoral ministry with congregation. Pastor Tom moved that the meeting be adjourned. Gail Huling Second. Motion carried.
