10 Health Ministry News CALLING ALL FEMALES OF MOUNT CARMEL Did you know that heart disease, diabetes, cancer and other abnormalities that attack our body can be prevented by just giving up our sedentary lives. The opposite of that means getting up and moving. The summer days were quite hot and uncomfortable for exercise, but what excuse do we have now? The days are cooler and the environment is beautiful, with the changing of the leaves. Here s a challenge for the ladies of Mount Carmel. It is called "THE GIRL TREK MOVEMENT." The MOVEMENT is challenging all women and girls to a 40 day, 30 minute daily walk, which started Sunday, October 15th and will continue until Thanksgiving Day. Not only are they asking us to walk but also practice RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS. Let all of us consider doing this. So lace up your sneakers and get moving.
