The Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Association will be held at the Ridgewood Baptist Church Baptist, Columbia, South Carolina where the Reverend Fred W. Coit is pastor. We will convene on October 20-23, We are asking each church to represent with your prayers, presence and participation. Our registration fee is $ per church. Pre-registration officially opens on September 15, 2015 and payment can be mailed to: Gethsemane Baptist Association, P.O. Box 251 Columbia, SC NO LATER THAN October 15, Full registration includes the following: refreshments each night, entry to all training classes and all worship services. Enclosed you will find the following: 1.) Registration form (Please Complete and Return with Registration Payment) 2.) Special Instruction for Election. 3.) Voting Delegate Form (5) voting delegates per church). 4.) Deceased Member form (Please no later than October 15, 2015). 5.) Week at a Glance Outline. We invite you to join us for what will be another powerful Session by the Greatest Association in the World. Please note the change in time and day for our Annual Business Meeting. It will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 12noon hour. The election of all new officers will take place at this time. We are equally excited about the return of the Annual Gethsemane Banquet which will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 7pm. This gala event will take place at our host site Ridgewood Baptist Church, in the Conference and Fellowship Center. We will honor the outgoing administration and install the newly elected officer during this event. The cost of the tickets $30 per person. Finally, we are asking all pastors to come and bring their congregations. We are expecting the Hand of God to move mightily in our midst. 6 Election Procedure & Protocol 1. Moderator has appointed a nomination committee that will be chaired by Reverend Eddie Davis. 2. If a person planned to be nominated from the floor, we are asking out of courtesy that you submit a letter of a letter of intent to the Nominating Committee. (If any candidate currently serves as an officer you will be considered by the nominating committee unless you have expressed a desire to be removed from process. 3. Each church that are fully registered from previous year session will have (5) voting delegates that are to be determine by the individual church. This has been voted upon by the general body of the Gethsemane Baptist Association at the 2013 Annual Session. 4. Each registration package will contain information for church to register each voting delegate, badges will be issued on-site the day of election. 5. Election will take place on Friday, October 23, during Business Meeting at 12noon. All newly elected officers will be officially installed on Friday, October 23, at the Gethsemane Annual Banquet at 7pm. We will remember those fallen warriors who departed since we last met. Please compile the names of your members who have gone from labor to reward from our last Annual Session. They re gone but not forgotten. Please submit this form prior to the Annual Session.
