THE TRANSFORMATION OF HUMANKIND God, our Father, loves us with infinite love. From the beginning, the Lord has placed heavenly beings to watch over us, and to tend our tiny planet. These beings act as servants of the Holy Presence. We usually refer to these beings as angels. Angels appear throughout the Bible. We encounter them in the gospel accounts when we meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary. They are sometimes described as men in white who shine brightly. The closer humankind comes to the completion of its spiritual journey, the more frequently will we encounter angelic beings from heaven. The more the Mysteries of the Rosary come alive and are played out in the world in the great Body of Christ (in us!), the more our transformation as a species is brought to completion. The angels will be increasingly involved in our transformation. (The great Body of Christ includes non Christians as well as Christians; Christ is present throughout all of history, saving souls from all times past, present, and future.) Now is the time for us to ask God through prayer and deep meditation to unlock the treasure chest of meaning in each of the Mysteries of the Rosary. The Rosary concludes with the Glorious Mysteries. The spiritual journey of humanity will conclude with the The Apostles Creed Prayers for the Rosary I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name: Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread: and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation: but deliver us from evil. Amen Hail Mary Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Glory Be Prayer Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen Jesus Prayer (optional) O my Jesus, forgive us. Deliver us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need. 1 28

ABOUT THE ROSARY What Is the Rosary? The Rosary is a form of reflective prayer based on the mysteries of our redemption. Its purpose is to deepen our prayer lives and to lead us into a profound encounter with the central truths of the Christian faith. The Rosary is composed of four meditations focused on events in the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. These events are found in the Bible. The four meditations are: Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious. The Rosary includes teachings of the Church regarding Mary, the mother of Jesus, and events in her life, too. Isn t reciting so many prayers vain repetition? Even one insincere prayer can be in vain. Some things bear repeating. Pray without ceasing the apostle Paul instructs in I Thes. 5:17. The repetition dissolves into contemplation as one progresses along the spiritual journey. The quantity of prayer does not matter but the depth. Silence Since stillness helps to nourish contemplation of the mysteries, praying the Rosary in silence can bring many blessings. When prayed faithfully, the Rosary may grow more and more into a love song for God. A decade a day Ten beads are called a decade. Usually the time for at least a decade a day can be found. That is only a few minutes a day for God who has given us life and all that is good. Why beads? Beads make it possible to keep one s place and to keep centered. The heart of the Rosary is the circlet of 54 beads, ten Hail Marys times five, and four Our Father beads. The circle begins and ends with praises to the Holy Trinity with the Glory Be prayers. fulfillment of each of these Glorious Mysteries: Resurrection Ascension Descent of the Holy Spirit Assumption into Heaven Crowning We will need to contemplate two levels of understanding when praying the Rosary in order to deepen our meditations. 27 2

TWO LEVELS First level meditations focus on the life of Jesus, His Blessed Mother, and the followers of Jesus. These events occurred in the past. They form the pattern, or map, the heart center for the next level of our understanding. Most Rosary meditations today are based on the first level. We recall what took place some two thousand years ago, and apply it to our personal lives. For example, Mary and Joseph find Jesus in the temple after they had searched for him for three days. Because Jesus is still young, he is surprised that they did not realize where he was, or what he would be doing. He obediently returns home with them. The lesson of obedience might be our reflection for this 5 th Joyful Mystery. It is presumed each person will apply the meaning of obedience to his or her own life. In this first level the focus is on the micro form of the coming of the kingdom, and the personal relationship each of us individually has in relation to it. Every Mystery may have many lessons for us in first level reflection. First level meditations on the lives of Jesus, the Blessed Mother, and the followers of Jesus prepare us for the next level of understanding. Although these earlier occurrences happened at a particular time and place in the past, they can be magnified in scale. Then they act as living models to shape greater world events taking place today through us. We must never forget that the heart and center of our 3 Mary oversees the blessed motherhood within humankind because of her status as Queen of Angels. Holy mothering, whether by men or women or even children, nurtures the kingdom of God in others, as we have seen. During the Millennium, the growth of the kingdom within members of Christ s great Body will be accelerated. The 2 nd, 3 rd, and the 4 th Glorious Mysteries are closely linked. During the Millennium, it will be impossible to separate them. Time as we know it will change, and bind them more and more together as the kingdom of heavenly peace descends to earth, and as the transformation of our souls uplifts us into the kingdom of God. All three Mysteries will unfold as one during the Millennium. The great Ascension: The return in Spirit of Christ. The great Descent of the Holy Spirit: Our uniting into a communion of oneness. The great Assumption: Blessed mothering around the globe. The 5 th and last Glorious Mystery of the Rosary takes us into heaven. We focus beyond time and space to contemplate the Coronation of Blessed Mother Mary Queen of Heaven. Creation rejoices! Great choirs of angels celebrate the event, giving glory to God for all eternity. Angels bridge the distance between heaven and earth. We can be thankful day by day for the care we receive from our unseen angelic helpers who have always watched over humankind. Yet during the Millennium, the angels will not remain so unseen when they help us. Jesus said, I tell you the truth, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man. (John 1:51) 26

control of the world s air space. Will angels assist us? We do not know. The 2 nd Glorious Mystery of the Rosary the Ascension invites deep meditation. Truly Christ the Son of Man will reign in Spirit over the earth during the Millennium through those who seek truth and are persons of compassionate love and goodwill. In the light of Christ s ever brightening Presence during the thousand years of peace, we will ascend ever higher into the kingdom of heaven. This is the great Ascension. The return in Spirit of Christ and the Ascension of the Lord s great Body are one. The 3 rd Glorious Mystery contemplates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the followers of Christ. The special role of the Holy Spirit is to unite us in the Spirit of holy oneness. The descent of the heavenly kingdom is made possible by the descent of the Holy Spirit on the members of Christ s great Body. The activity of the Holy Spirit heals what separates us from God and from one another greed, hate, envy, anger, and the other failures of human spirit. The 4 th Glorious Mystery focuses on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin into heaven. The Church teaches that at the conclusion of her earthly life, Mary, mother of Jesus, was taken into heaven, body and soul. Exalted above every other saint, Mary s heart of maternal love reaches out to all children. All blessed mothering given to children by those who care for them during the Millennium will be united into the oneness of a concern for every child. The Millennial Assumption, global in its reach, will be attended by our Blessed Mother in heaven and by the angels. 25 salvation rests eternally in Jesus. Yet our grasp of the greatness of Christ s salvific reach expands as our understanding of the whole of humankind s spiritual journey expands. The plan of God sweeps up all of creation, opening our eyes more and more to higher level realities. Second level meditations expand out to encompass the Presence of Christ in the whole of human history. Let us widen our vision and contemplate what will happen on earth in relation to Christ s descent when large numbers of us carry out the will of our Heavenly Father. How will the world change when, like a great wave, many of us are obedient for the same purpose at the same time? Will we who are the Lord s great Body be apt to go our own way and not submit to our heavenly Father s and to our Blessed Mother s parenting? In our immaturity will there come a time when we mistakenly suppose that, all together as one, we are fully mature and ready to carry out the Father s affairs on earth? Jesus listened and obeyed. In living out the great Coming of Christ, we, too, as members, all together, must take great care to listen in order to be obedient. It may be critical for us to wait for God s holy timetable to unfold before we act, or our actions may cause harm rather than good. Second level meditation on the Mysteries of the Rosary uplifts us into higher realms. Awareness enlarges as our prayers focus upwards. Prayer is a call. A call from the heart. The call can be weak or strong. 4

If genuine, every individual call is of great value, even if it may seem faint. God hears our weakest cries. Especially the Lord hears our weakest cries because they may be the most urgent. Yet when our prayers on earth come together with the prayers of others in real time, the call amplifies. Even our weak prayer signals gain in strength. Combined Rosaries, united by the same pure intention, become a powerful higher level call to God. The numbers make a difference. In order for our prayers to unite under the same goal, it is important to clearly indicate before praying, I offer this Rosary for the intention of world peace and the turning of hearts and minds to God. (These two intentions are so intimately related, they are really one intention.) Those who pray the Rosary for God s kingdom of peace to descend to earth, and who unite their intentions with many other Rosaries that are prayed with the same intention, participate in macro prayer for good. What is macro prayer for good? Holy macro prayer occurs when the prayer of many, through God s grace, turns into the prayer of one. One prayer, one call. Many hearts then become one in a communion of love. Through oneness, the greater reality of God s kingdom descends to earth. Heavenly beings will increasingly descend with the Coming of Christ and the kingdom of peace. These mysterious beings come from the realm of supernatural light. We speak of the mysteries of the Rosary. The mysteries have to do with the supernatural. 5 A brief interval occurred right after the resurrection of Jesus. Our Lord taught his followers for 40 days after the resurrection and before he ascended into heaven. After the great Resurrection, the 40 days of holy instruction will be expanded out into the thousand year Millennium. Wisdom, not just knowledge, will greatly increase. The expanded 40 days of holy instruction during the Millennium will more and more manifest God s kingdom....the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21) One of our most sacred roles during the Millennium will be to cultivate God s kingdom within one another, and especially within our children through example, teaching, and sharing our spiritual gifts. To encourage a child to hate will be seen for what it is a crime. The 2 nd Glorious Mystery reflects on the Ascension. Two angels appeared right after Jesus ascended into heaven. They told his followers that Jesus would return again. As the kingdom of God shines brighter and brighter on earth during the Millennium, members of Christ s great Body will more and more experience the Presence of Christ a return in Spirit of our Lord. The great Resurrection will mark the beginning of the return. When Jesus ascended to heaven, he disappeared from sight in a cloud. He told his followers not to expect him to return looking like a human being. For as the lightening comes out of the east, and shines even into the west: so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:27) Jesus explained that the coming of the Son of man will be...in the clouds of heaven with great power... (Matthew 24:30) Just how exactly the great Coming will take place is still a mystery. Some members of Christ s great Body may take 24

merely restore our world devastated by the Tribulation. It will uplift the world into the supernatural! Every time we pray the Lord s prayer, we pray for God s supernatural realm to come to earth...thy kingdom come. When Jesus advised us to pay attention to the signs of the times so that we would have warning before the arrival of the Tribulation, he added some good news, too...know that the kingdom of God is close at hand. Mystery challenges our reason. We try to find our way into a higher unknown. Our future is veiled in the upper level corridors of the unseen. Macro prayer shines a searchlight into the mysteries. So likewise you, when you see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is close at hand. (Luke 21:31) No human efforts can ever achieve a utopia on earth. God s kingdom is not of the earth. The coming and fulfillment of God s kingdom will be marked by spiritual change so intense, it will alter what we call the real world. The only reason the Millennium utopia will be possible in the future is because God s transforming Presence will be drawing us into the oneness of the Trinity. Uplifted more and more by the Holy Presence, we will participate in the reign of love. God s rule is merciful, but during the Millennium it will be firm. The angels will be God s instruments servants for our change. The Resurrection introduces the 1st Glorious Mystery of the Rosary which takes us into the beginning of the Millennium. The other four Glorious Mysteries encompass the spiritual journey we will make together during the Millennium and beyond. The Ascension, the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the Assumption, and the Crowning. 23 6

THE GREAT COMING The descent of Christ s kingdom to earth is marked by large scale events made holy. More and more, members of the Lord s Body are being filled with Christ s light and life. Christ living in us is the one who has the power to transform our present reality. More and more, these enlightened happenings are beginning to emerge within humankind. Just as our prayers coming together become macro prayer in oneness, so also do our combined efforts for good for God rise up. These are macro events in the great Body of Christ large scale events which manifest in this world. Yet because these events have eternal value, they shine forever as treasures in heaven. (Other large scale events are taking place on earth, too, that are vicious and extremely unholy. They do not lead to oneness in God.) The life of Jesus gives us the key to understand what is taking place in today s world of escalating macro events, and to guide us into the future on a planet caught up in conflict and earth shaking technological change. God inspired campaigns to prevent disease, to heal the sick, to feed the hungry, to uplift the poor, and to spread the gospel these are obvious examples of the workings of Christ in the great Coming. They are magnifications of events following the pattern of what Jesus did when he performed miracles and taught the people. Miracles manifest the technology and spirit of heaven. We also know of many other miracles performed by Jesus 7 HOPE We await the Millennium the thousand year reign of Christ s peace on earth. (The Millennium may or may not be a thousand years in number. Holy Scripture explains to us in II Peter 3:8 that a thousand years with the Lord is like a day, and a day like a thousand years.) At the beginning of the Millennium, an angel of God will restrain Satan and prevent him from provoking war among the nations. (Rev. 20:1 3) At last, much longed for peace will encircle the globe....nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. (Isaiah 2:4) Evil will still exist on earth unfortunately. Yet the Spirit of Christ, active in the members of the Lord s great Body, will sanctify and uplift the world more and more. We who belong to Christ will become more and more aware of God s gift of grace to us. We will become more keenly aware that the Eucharist the Body of Christ we receive in Holy Communion is within us. The Eucharist Christ s love in us will radiate holiness and happiness for others as never before. The era of peace for 1000 years will be an era of love. The broken and disheartened will be drawn close to those members of Christ s Body whose hearts, filled with compassionate love, can offer comfort, healing, and hope. The kingdom of God will overtake the world. It will not 22

only be realized fully after the Tribulation. We may be especially tempted to laziness in praying for world peace since our prayers are to be realized later on. We are at a time in history when laziness in prayer is a deadly temptation. A genuine angel one who serves God promotes selfless prayer, as did the angel of Portugal. God s true angels know of a certainty how extremely important prayer is for us. Remember how our Lord prayed so intensely in the Garden of Gethsemane the night before he was crucified that he sweated blood? An angel was there to strengthen him. (Luke 22:43) The Tribulation will be the time of the great Crucifixion. Prayer and angelic support will make it possible for us who are members of Christ s great Body to face the ordeal. The time to learn how to pray the Rosary and meditate on the Mysteries is now. We will need a lifeline to heaven during the Tribulation as never before, and the signs of the times warn us the days may be getting close. which manifest the supernatural these, too, when magnified into macro events, will alter our present reality, bringing the kingdom of heaven. Jesus could read minds, see people at a distance, walk on water, and perform other amazing feats. To imagine such abilities multiplied worldwide gives us a glimpse into the fast approaching future. What is the difference between future technology and miracle? The lines begin to blur. (We face a frightening future unless Christ is in control of the technology. The dangers from one world whose technology is in the grip of evil beings can not be overemphasized. Yet we can be reassured because we know that indeed, God is in control and evil will be overcome.) Miracles beyond our wildest dreams will empower God s kingdom. Truly, our eyes have never seen, our ears have never heard, nor have we ever known what is prepared for those who love God, as Holy Scripture tells us. The wonderful news is that the Resurrection is also close, and it is followed by the Millennium. God s angels will attend to us during this long anticipated era of peace of Christ s great Coming. Our prayers at that time, encouraged by the angels, will draw us much deeper into the heart of God s goodness. 21 8

THE TRIBULATION The Tribulation foretold by Jesus must occur before God s kingdom can come to earth visibly and in power. Our entry into the kingdom comes at a price. Christ s great Body will undergo the planetary Crucifixion from the forces of evil. The blood of martyrs during this time will flow as one with the blood of Christ. The sufferings of Jesus will expand into worldwide sufferings in the Lord s great Body. The earth and its peoples will suffer the global Way of the Cross and the great Crucifixion in union with Christ. Jesus himself foretold that, during this devastating time, if the days had not been shortened, no life would remain on earth. But, thankfully, the days are to be shortened. Many members of the Lord s great Body will perish in the Tribulation. Many of those who remain will likely go into hiding, traumatized and afraid, as were the followers of Jesus after his crucifixion and death. Jesus himself describes what will happen next. He tells us that the powers of the heavens will be shaken. He paints a frightening scene with these details: Immediately after the great Tribulation, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky. (Meteorites? Debris?) (See Matthew 24:29) We can only speculate on the desperate plight of the earth and those who remain alive at this time. The members of Christ s great Body who did not die physically will be suffering a dark night of the soul because of their suffering, and 9 ours. For these persons, we hopefully have an opportunity to share the gospel by word and example.) Only true angelic beings have real authority over us. These good beings will never promote separation from the Lord by urging us to disobey God, or to go against what we know is right. They will never appeal to our wrongful desires for personal power or selfish benefits. They will never ridicule our religious faith. Instead, true angels rejoice at each soul who comes to know the love of God, and who grows spiritually ever closer in relation to the Holy Trinity. In 1916, one year before the Blessed Mother appeared to the three children in Portugal, an angel made three visits to the little shepherds. The angel prepared the children for the coming appearances of the Lady of the Rosary, as she identified herself. How did the angel prepare the little visionaries? By inspiring them to pray more fervently, and by teaching them new prayers prayers especially relevant to our time in history. The angel also gave the children Holy Communion. Today the shrine of Fatima, Portugal, attracts millions of people from all over the world. In her appearances to the children, the Blessed Mother told them to pray the Rosary every day for world peace. Prayer for world peace is not self centered. It looks to the good of everyone. God hears our prayers. Yet our prayers for world peace can 20

DISCERNMENT AND PRAYER Already angelic beings have appeared to us many times throughout the ages. Their involvement with humanity is becoming increasingly important. For that reason, we need now to prepare our thinking in order to be ready to recognize them and to accept their guidance. Angels care for us with God s love. They have watched over humanity from the beginning. Still, despite all our wishes to relate to the angels, seeing even one angel for the first time is most likely to be a shock. The appearance of an angel to the shepherds who were watching their flocks the night Jesus was born terrified them. Imagine their awe when a great chorus of angels arrived next, glorifying God! because they will feel that God has abandoned them. They will undergo mystic death. Suffering in spirit, the members of Christ s great Body will face hopelessness as did the disciples after the Crucifixion of Jesus. With such widespread destruction, is it likely that normal communication systems will still function? Probably not, and if that is the case, members of the great Body will feel separation and loss of connection from one another as well as from God, and will feel lost in the sorrow of the dark night. Just as the human body must die when its members are torn apart, the great Body of Christ will suffer mystic death when the members are separated and disconnected from one another. Let us pause for a moment to consider a problem we face when beings from elsewhere appear to us on earth. How are we to know that they are sent from God? How are we to know if any angelic appearance is good? After all, the devil can disguise himself as a being of light. He is a fallen angel but has great powers. The guidelines for us are specific. St. Paul tells us in the first chapter of Galatians that if anyone, even an angel supposedly from heaven, teaches what is in opposition to the teachings of Christ, that being is definitely not from God but is accursed. This verse in the Bible refers to the fallen angels or to people of hate who oppose God. These beings do not have our best interests at heart. (The verse does not apply to sincere persons of good will who seek truth, love with compassion, and whose beliefs just happen to differ from 19 10

THE BIG QUESTION: WHEN? shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect s sake those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24:22) For centuries Christians have speculated on when the great Tribulation might happen. Jesus told us to watch for signs in the world. More than ever, we need to keep alert. The Blessed Mother warns us with increasing urgency to pray, pray, pray. How many appearances she has made around the world for our sakes! France, Portugal, the Philippines, Rwanda and others. One visitation from Blessed Mary is highly significant since it seems to relate to a timetable for the Tribulation although Jesus said we can not know the exact day or hour. The story begins in Garabandal, Spain, where the Holy Virgin reportedly appeared to four little girls. The year was Sanctions were placed on the site by the bishop. Pilgrims continue to come to Garabandal and attend Mass at the local church. Pope Paul VI and Pope John Paul II spoke in positive terms about the apparitions. After the death of Pope John XXIII, Conchita, one of the seers, disclosed to her mother that there would be three popes following him. When her mother asked how Conchita knew this, she replied, From the Holy Virgin. Actually, there will be four, but she does not count one. Conchita was asked why the Blessed Virgin did not count one. She replied, She didn t say why, only that she wasn t counting one. But she also said that one would reign for a very short period

RESURRECTION Let us observe a great wonder as we meditate on the 1 st Glorious Mystery of the Rosary the resurrection. The scene is set in the future. The Tribulation the great Crucifixion has ended. Members of the great Body of the Son of Man, who have been entombed in hiding for three days, are coming out of the grave. These living members of the Body are arising from mystic death and are being miraculously reconnected with one another again. Energized and revitalized, they will enter into a communion of being. They will live in the light of true life, set free from the dark night of the soul. Will angels play a role in the great Resurrection as they did when Jesus arose? After Jesus arose from the dead, some two thousand years ago, an angel removed the heavy stone blocking the entrance to the tomb where the body of Jesus was placed, and later, angels spoke to the followers of Jesus when they came to the tomb. Will angels play a role in the Resurrection of Christ s great Body in the coming days of glory? Yes, beyond a doubt. Jesus told us that angels will gather together the elect from all around the earth after the Tribulation. And he [the Son of man] shall send his angels...and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds... (Matthew 24:31) God s elect are those chosen by God. They may be chosen for favor, salvation, or for a special task. It would seem these elect will be blessed in all three ways. The Tribulation was shortened for the sake of these same elect. And unless those days should be 17 Four popes have followed John XXIII. Paul VI ( ) John Paul I (1978) John Paul II ( ) Benedict XVI (2005 ) During the reign of John Paul II, it was presumed that the pope who was not counted was John Paul I whose pontificate lasted for only 33 days. On this basis, most Catholics who thought about it simply assumed that John Paul II would be the last pope. Today we reflect on the possibility that Benedict XVI is likely the pope who is not counted rather than John Paul I. What if this is true? Let us consider another prophecy in relation to what the Blessed Mother told Conchita. It is attributed to Saint Malachy, an Irish bishop who died in The prophecy was printed in 1585 for the very first time. It names 111 popes, beginning with Celestin II ( ), and concludes with the end of the papacy. The list grew by one addition to 112 in the 1820 printed version of Malachy s prophecy. (Who might this 112 th person be, someone who is not even listed in the original list? More about this later.) Brief descriptions of the backgrounds, characters, efforts, and the periods of the reigns of the popes identify them in Malachy s list. For example, Pastor et nauta is applied to John 23 rd ( ) who came from the shepherd s village of Soto il Monte, 12

and who herded sheep when he was a boy. In later years he was a patriarch of Venice, the famous seaport. The phrase describing John Paul II is De labore solis from the work of the sun. John Paul II entered the world at the time of an eclipse. During his reign, in August 1999, there was a great solar eclipse of Europe. It was the last one of the millennium. Let us combine the prophecies from Conchita and Malachy, and then compress them for clarity. Four popes. One not counted. Paul VI 108 th pope in Malachy s list John Paul I 109 th pope in Malachy s list John Paul II 110 th pope in Malachy s list Benedict XVI 111 th pope in Malachy s list NOT COUNTED. Gloria olivae describes the last person in Malachy s list. But who does it refer to if Benedict XVI is not counted? The phrase translates as the glory of the olive tree. The olive tree is the symbol for peace. St. Malachy concludes his list with these words: In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church Peter the Roman will reign. He will Shepherd his sheep through many tribulations. After that the city of the seven hills [Rome] will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will pass judgment over his people. The End. So here we see from Malachy that Peter the Roman will 13 good which comes from God will triumph over evil. Those who have the life of Christ in them and who do not die in the Tribulation will arise and come together in unity and hope. Our future and inheritance is oneness in Christ s eternal kingdom of peace. UPDATE - April 2013 A new pope (Francis) was elected after Benedict XVI resigned. Does this mean Conchita s message from the Blessed Mother was not true? Does this mean Malachy s prophecy was wrong? The prophecies were not wrong. Everyone just assumed the prophecies were to be taken literally and physically. That no more popes would be elected. The fact that another pope was elected to the papacy after Benedict even more strongly confirms the symbolic and spiritual meaning given in this chapter of the booklet which was written in A careful and prayerful reading and re reading of this chapter may be necessary for the reader to grasp the true meaning in the prophecies which are as follows. The death of John Paul II marks a new era. We are now clearly in the reign of Christ who is Peter the Roman in Malachy s prophecy. Christ as Peter the Second is ruling in spirit in us over the Lord s great Body into which both Christians and non Christians are being incorporated. Emphasis: Christ s spirit is ruling in us. His spirit. In us. And the ruling extends worldwide beyond the institutional Church. See Booklet 2 on Oneness in the Rosary of the Great Coming series to more fully understand the Lord s great Body. 16

Since Vatican II more and more the Church has become aware that all those who seek truth and who have hearts filled with love and compassion for others belong to Christ, and that Christ lives in them, regardless of their belief systems. The doors of the Church as an institution have been opening wider and wider to recognize salvation for persons of good will everywhere on our planet. The Church is poised to have her deepest wish fulfilled the completion of her mission. We are now in a transition. Our realizations are shifting. The truth of Christ s great Coming to reign over all the world is increasingly entering our consciousness. Never before have we been in a position to grasp the depth of meaning in these words of Jesus: And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. (John 10:16) One shepherd: Christ, who for us who are Christian is the embodiment of Truth and Divine Love wherever it is to be found. Other sheep: Not just Christians but persons of good will God s will from every walk of life and divinely inspired, though imperfect, belief system. One fold: the Lord s great Body which transcends time and space, and any church. The Tribulation fast approaches. We know that the great Body of Christ will then undergo crucifixion on a global scale. We tremble at the thought. There will be so much suffering, death and destruction. Yet not everyone will die in the Tribulation. We must never forget that Christ s great Body will be resurrected. True 15 shepherd his sheep through many tribulations. The first Peter came from Galilee. Peter the Roman would be the second Peter Peter II. In referring to this second Peter as the Roman, we are reminded of the saying, All roads lead to Rome. Rome the seat of power in the ancient world. Surely it is true that the second Peter is Christ who is to rule from the seat of power over all the world, not just the institutional Church! The phrase describing Peter the Roman is Gloria olivae which most perfectly describes Christ, the Prince of Peace, who is ruling in the great Body (in us). Benedict XVI is a faithful and dedicated pontiff, struggling to lead the Church through this difficult interim period before Christ assumes control over the world. What could ever end the Papacy except some disaster so great it would overtake the world and prevent another Conclave to elect a pope from taking place? Malachy, just quoted, writes of it. Christ foretold it. For then shall be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21) Evil will appear to overwhelm the world during the global Tribulation. Satan will rule. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time. (Revelation 12:12) From heaven s perspective the Papacy actually ends with John Paul II. Otherwise, Satan could boast that the gates of hell during the great Tribulation did prevail over the Church. 14

Millennial Hope by Ken Charon, a drawing commissioned by the author of The Rosary of the Great Coming Series. A father steps out into the light of the Millennium. His family watches from the entrance to their cave. They have survived the great Tribulation foretold by Jesus. The joys of a new dawn welcome this family who are newly resurrected. During the global Crucifixion, they suffered mystic death. An angel of God watches over other survivors who are coming together in good will and thanksgiving as they enter the Millennium.
