2 Greetings Church Family and Friends! I am so excited to release this copy of our 2017 annual report. Needless to say, 2017 has been a year of exceptional results. Every success, ranging from our entering into our new church, to the growth of each individual disciple in our midst, has been fantastic to say the least. This is a brief synopsis of our year in review. I pray this will bring a smile to your face and inspire you to continue praying for and supporting this awesome ministry. I want to thank each and every member and friend for your contributions in It was a tremendous year and I am confident the best for Kingdom Christian Church is still yet to come. 3 Prelude: Reading the Report The Kingdom Christian Church (KCC) 2017 Annual Report is divided into the following three subsections: Section 1: A Year in Review Section 2. Target Goals for 2018 Section 3. Times of Fun Each section carries its own primary objective. Section 1 will deal specifically with what the church accomplished in Section 2 seeks to outline our plans for 2018, to examine what the church will seek to successfully accomplish. Finally, Section 3 will give you the reader a keen look at the church s times of fun and reprieve. Kingdom Christian Church is a balanced ministry that provided many times of enjoyment for the whole family in 2017!

4 SECTION 1: A YEAR IN REVIEW SPECIAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS A. New Church In 2017, Kingdom Christian Church (KCC) was fortunate to accomplish our greatest milestone. By the grace of God, the church successfully funded and completed its first building construction project. On November 13, the first worship service was held in our new location of 5832 Freedom Drive! This beautiful campus boasts 12 acres of land, which is comprised of a church edifice, athletic field and two more usable buildings onsite. B. Audio Video/TV KCC set an unprecedented goal, when within the first year of completing construction on our new church, we were able to fully fund debt free an Audio Visual/TV lighting project that later afforded us the opportunity to be on television (see TV Section later). We are not aware of many churches who, within their first year of moving into the new church, have been able to achieve such a goal. Again, to God be the Glory! C. Television In 2017, KCC launched Life In The Word with Dr. Gabriel Rogers, its paid television broadcast on My TV 12 station at 9:30am on Sundays! This is absolutely incredible to say the least. Many paid commercials advertising the church have been made to advance this evangelistic effort. The Lord has blessed us with the opportunity to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the home of thousands! As of December 2017, our broadcast stats exceed 20,000 viewers!

5 SECTION 1: A YEAR IN REVIEW TABLE OF CONTENTS D. Bookstore Renovations God graced KCC to complete up fits to our bookstore. Shelving, racks, cashier docking stations, a POS system and other equipment was purchased and installed to make product purchasing that much more efficient. We were also able to initiate the start of providing sermon messages available on KCC USBs! We are excited about our commerce efforts to advance the kingdom. E. New Carpet It is the philosophy and practice of KCC and Pastor Gabe to do all things in excellence. The grade of carpet initially installed for the church did not reflect exceptional quality or the excellence we represent. The church, at no cost, was blessed to have the previous carpet removed, and a premium grade of carpet installed.

6 SECTION 1: A YEAR IN REVIEW F. Small Groups This year KCC embarked on a new discipleship initiative by introducing small groups to both members and the community at large. The small group subject matters ranged from spiritual subject matters, such as Healing and the Ephesians 5 Wife, to practical courses, such as Cooking and Healthy Budgeting. Small Groups were well attended and registrants were enhanced with life skills and discipleship that will be long lasting. G. Micro Conferences At the start of 2017, it was the vision of our pastor to host Micro Conferences, small one day events that would target specific demographics. His vision for Micro Conferences was extremely successful. Micro Conferences were held at little or no cost on the following subjects: Marriage (80 participants), Singles (75 participants), Financial Freedom in Partnership with BB&T (100 participants), and Women s Health Screening Day in Partnership with Carolinas HealthCare System (200 participants).

8 What KCC Means to Me Stephanie Biggers As a single mom, KCC has impacted me on so many levels. This year I was blessed to come into optimal health, as well has land my new job with a prominent bank. As icing on the cake, I was blessed to go under contract for my brand new home this year! David Roberts KCC has had a tremendous impact on my spiritual growth, one major reason would be the word of God that is brought forth. The sermons are filled with so much revelation and practical insight on living a Christ centered life. Additionally, the culture and standard for men at KCC has made me grow as a husband and father. I now look at things through a spiritual lens instead my carnal eyes, I have gained so much insight and my whole outlook on life is different. Finally, having a DP to talk to about not only spiritual things but practical things is a tremendous blessing. Thank you for all you do! Theresa Wilson Where do I start! God led me to KCC. First and foremost I have been blessed by Pastor s preaching, in person and re-listening to messages throughout the week. Every word is on time, anointed and powerful, impacting my life for the better. I love how he makes sure that we understand what it means to be a comprehensive Christian. As I ve applied these truths to my life I can see how the Lord has blessed it. During a particularly powerful service I was healed last year of severe carpal tunnel and tendonitis that had been going on for years. Not the slightest symptom has returned, nor will it! Praise the Lord! Pastor and First Lady have set up many opportunities for me to grow: DP s, IDPs, cluster groups and small groups, volunteer opportunities, singles and women s ministry, also to dance and join the choir. Being involved and being blessed has been like sowing and reaping for me. Enjoying fellowship with other believers has made it such a refreshing year. I m so glad to be a part of Kingdom Christian Church.

9 What KCC Means to Me The Fulp Family As a Christian married couple, KCC has helped us experience the blessing of being comprehensive Christians. To start, third Sunday marriage enrichment classes have challenged us to remain transparent and honest in our marriage, which keeps us unified and always desiring each other. Pastor s sermons and First Lady s teachings are always teaching us how to train up our beautiful baby girl, Joelle Marie Fulp, in Christian doctrine despite living in Babylon s carnal society. Financially, since being at KCC, our salaries have more than doubled and we ve received multiple bonuses and raises. In 2017, we fully furnished our new 3,700 square foot home debt free, celebrated our four year wedding anniversary, maintained our jobs despite Elisa s job having four separate layoffs, improved our health by changing our eating habits, which resulted in loosing 20 pounds, received work bonuses after the company made an announcement that no bonuses would be given in 2017, and our daughter has continued to grow and develop faster than average children of her similar age. To God be the glory for all his marvelous works! Without KCC, Pastor Gabe and First Lady we would not have the biblical knowledge and skill necessary to believe God for such results. The Branham Family While under KCC s ministry this year, our family has been blessed tremendously. We have watched our 15 year old son accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. My wife made a career change from IT to Real Estate and received both her NC and SC license. After walking in faith and receiving a prophetic word from Pastor, our family built and moved into our third home (dream home). Throughout this year, I have received financial abundance through work promotions.

10 Goal # 1 A Spirit Filled Congregation This year s focus will continue to be developing a Spirit led group of disciples. It is at the core of the Pastor s heart to see God s people so stabilized in hearing God that they are never caught off guard or derailed by any of the ungodly elements of this culture. The Holy Spirit still leads us in all truth. This goal will be accomplished by the preached word from our Pastor, twice each week, and by the weekly small groups offered by our church. The church will also start a new effort called Small Groups on Demand. This initiative is in response to the specific needs of the congregation. For example, if a number of individuals renounce sororities and fraternities, a small group may be created to disciple this group of people within a 4-week session. A trial of this initiative was implemented in 2017 and was highly successful. Goal #2 Successful Evangelism and Retention This is our 2018 church growth initiative. In Luke 5:10, Jesus instructed the disciples who were fishermen at the time that they would now transition to Catching Men. KCC will endeavor to catch men for the Kingdom of God like never before in Because Jesus is soon to return, this has to remain the number one priority for any relevant church. Catching men will comprise of two levels: 1) getting people saved and 2) getting people aligned and connected with KCC. We believe helping a new convert to become a disciple is key for sustainability in the Kingdom. As a result, a 4-week new convert course called, What Does It Mean To Be Saved?, will be offered on a revolving schedule in Participants will receive a manual for use both during and after the class. Goal #3 Increase in Social Media Presence and TV Spots This goal is successfully underway as we ride the momentum of 2017 with a clear and direct presence on the current major social media platforms. The social media initiative in 2018 is coined 5 Ways To Catch Us. This initiative will have direct implications on the number of people we reach weekly. In addition to our live services, KCC seeks to promote our Pastor s teachings via the mediums of Facebook Live (our current live streaming platform), YouTube, Kingdom Church Radio, and the KCC Sermon Podcast.

11 Regarding television, it is the goal of our pastor to increase our television presence with our broadcast, Life in the Word with Dr. Gabriel Rogers. The goal is to acquire a daily slot to deliver more sermon messages on faith and morality to our viewers. There is a demand and by faith we will bring the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Charlotte and the surrounding cities. Goal #4 Perfecting the Worship Experience Now that KCC has had a year to try on the new church, it is the goal of our Pastor to create a worship flow of excellence. This will include greater collaboration with the music ministry and the ministry of helps to make movement more seamless. We realize time is precious; however, we will always leave room for the free flowing of the Holy Spirit. To perfect the worship experience, we are establishing greater efficiency in bookstore purchases. In 2018, our Pastor is implementing a subscription plan for the avid Word student. Subscribers will automatically receive their Sunday morning and Thursday night messages directly via MP3 every week! Goal #5 Greater Financial Increase for Capital Expansions The Lord has anointed our Pastor with the ability to successfully raise and effectively manage money for His Kingdom. This is evident in the church s acquisition of our current campus in just 7 short years. KCC seeks to continue to develop this campus and acquire new lands/buildings as opportunities come available. In order to do this, KCC will engage in its annual Capital Campaign, as well as other Spirit Led giving initiatives to position the church for credible purchases and ultimately, debt freedom.

12 SECTION 3: TIMES OF FUN Opening Day KCC entered it s brand new edifice on the birthday of our dear Pastor Gabe (November 13th). God is so amazing in how He allows so much synergy in the life of this ministry. Church members, as well as family and friends from near and far, joined us on this special day for a worship experience that was life changing. This event will go down in history as an anointed day to say the least. Leadership Conference Pastor Gabe gathered the troops for another time of vision and refreshing. This year s theme was Catching the Vision. Time and again, vision is cast at KCC. As our ministry continues to catch the heart of God, we will continue to progress to greater heights and deeper depths. Youth Fun Nights! Our Pastor has such a genuine heart for youth of all ages. In 2017 our youth were encouraged to greater depths of discipleship. Our youth leaders took our youth on a balanced path of understanding the Word and having fun in unconventional ways. The kids did Laser Tag, Bounce Houses, Cookouts, Game Nights, Movies Nights you name it, they did it!

13 SECTION 3: TIMES OF FUN Annual College Tour Our high school aged youth were privileged to participate in an expense paid college tour to some of our areas finest institutions of higher education. The impact of this tour will be life long for those who participated. Students were able to get a first hand look at the college life. They also took full full advantage of current KCC college student s expertise and advice about campus life. Singles Movie Nights and Beyond The Singles of KCC refuse to be a group of Christians who loathe their lives while they wait for marriage. We are excited that while many are on the marriage path, they are engaging in life enjoyment right now. Movie nights have been held in our new edifice, as well as a plethora of other social events giving our singles healthy outlets as believers.

14 Section 3: Times of Fun Marriage Retreat 2017 This year s marriage retreat was a time of unprecedented relaxation and instruction. Our retreat was held at the lavish Marriot Grande Dunes Resort and Hotel. During the morning sessions, our Pastor and First Lady led us on a journey through of the Word. The afternoons and evenings were laced with tons of free time for our marriage couples to walk the sandy shores of the Atlantic Ocean and do other site seeing in the Myrtle Beach area. Church Picnic 2017 The Care Ministry did a stellar job of pulling together this year s picnic. Much to the church s pleasure was the reality that we no longer needed a public park to house our gathering; our church campus was more than sufficient. Food trucks lined the curves of the property while our own caterers cuisines were featured as the main entrees of the afternoon.

15 Church Anniversary KCC celebrated another year of greatness in June of The members of KCC continue to exercise high levels of commitment that cause the ministry to forge ahead in so many ways. The church has experienced tremendous growth both spiritually and numerically. Needless to say, this ministry had a lot to celebrate Pastor s Anniversary KCC was pleased to set aside one day in 2017 to celebrate our Pastor and his family. The theme for this year s pastoral anniversary celebration was Results. Needless to say, God has produced dynamic results for KCC through our leader Pastor Rogers. Pastors who have integrity and are led by the Spirit of God do not come often these days. KCC realizes the rare nature of Pastor Rogers and is committed to keeping he and First Lady Rogers encouraged in this marathon called ministry.
