Dr. Timothy Mulder, is Rector of Christ Church, Short Hills, NJ, and his grandfather, Dr. Edwin G. Marble Fights Hunger Bring canned foods and other non-perishable food items every Sunday. Drop off donations in baskets in 29th St Reception area and Marble Loft, or leave at Action Table after Worship. Donations distributed to various food banks. Donate Metrocards for LGBTQ Youth in Crisis served by The Church at St. Luke in the Fields, a partner in mission with our GIFTS Fellowship. Metrocards should contain at least one full fare. By entering the Sanctuary, you grant to Marble Collegiate Church unrestricted right to use and publish, transmit or telecast photographs or likenesses that might be taken of you this day for use in communications related to the church. If you are uncomfortable in the Sanctuary you are welcome to worship downstairs in the New Chapel. 3

4 Information PRAYERS FOR PEACE RIBBONS Yellow ribbons on our fence represent US military casualties in Afghanistan. A refurbishment of this beloved project is underway, as we also prepare an indoor installment in honor of our Iraq and Afghanistan service personnel. We have not forgotten those men and women and the sacrifices they have made. VOLUNTEER FOR SUMMER CHOIR Music-reading ability required. Those not currently or formerly in Marble Choirs may be asked to audition. Singers encouraged to sign up in advance; sing on your available Sundays. Rehearsals 9:00am, Sundays, through September 6. 6 Pipe Organ Project September 13 will be a glorious day in the history of Marble Collegiate Church as we dedicate our brand new pipe organ. It has been a project long in the making, yet it will serve us for many decades. We continue to need financial contributions to fully fund the project.
