3 Mylaine NURSING & HOUSEKEEPING This month, I would like to thank you all for participating and for your understanding during our full evacuation of the building. This procedure took us 30 minutes! I am proud of our residents and employees. Please remember to take your garbage out in the hallways after supper but before 7 pm. If there is a bingo and you eat at 5h30 pm, please put your garbage in the hallway when you leave to go eat dinner. Finally, I would like to invite you to participate in my falls prevention presentation this month. I hope to see you all there. We continue our efforts to reduce the number of falls in our residence. I can already tell you that there is an enormous difference between last year s number of falls and this year s. I can t wait to finish compiling all the results for this year because I really believe that our efforts are making a difference. 3

5 Andrée NUTRITION Hello everyone, I want to take this opportunity to thank the food service staff for their dedication during recent events such as Mother's Day and the Lobster Dinner. I am very proud of my team. I would like everyone to join me in congratulating them on their excellent work. I would not like to forget our residents, a sincere thank you for your patience during these events. I would also like to take this time to highlight the importance of drinking plenty of water and to maintain a good diet. Eating a healthy diet has proven to help prevent chronic illnesses such as type 2 diabetes, as well as help the body recover from trauma. Eating well has the power to alleviate symptoms as the body recovers and provides energy for cells and tissues to mend. 5 In hopes to see you all at our biweekly BBQ s.
