1 Friday morning WE COME TO GOD IN PRAYER Hasten, O God, to save me; come quickly, Lord, to help me. Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. WE PRAY PSALM 86 Guard my life, for I am faithful to you. You are my God; save your servant who trusts in you. Have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long. Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you. WE PRAY PSALM 95 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 4 Saturday evening WE COME TO GOD IN PRAYER One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. WE PRAY PSALM 16 Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing. Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. Jesus, you are the resurrection and the life. 11 Canticles for the morning THE SONG OF ZECHARIAH Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who has come to his people and set them free. The Lord has raised up for us a mighty Saviour, born of the house of his servant David. Through the holy prophets, God promised of old to save us from our enemies, from the hands of all who hate us, to show mercy to our forebears, and to remember his holy covenant.
