1 70 churches and chapels in England, Wales and Scotland are set to benefit from rescue funding of 522,241 from the National Churches Trust, the UK s church support charity. PARTNERSHIP GRANTS 23 churches receive National Churches Trust Partnership Grants for urgent repair projects, awarded on the recommendation of local church trusts in England. For the first time, Partnership Grants are awarded to churches in Wales and Northern Ireland following changes to the eligibility criteria. BEDFORDSHIRE Eyeworth, All Saints Anglican, Diocese of St Albans, Grade I In partnership with the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Historic Churches Trust Awarded for re-roofing to replace stolen lead on the nave roof with zinc. CAMBRIDGESHIRE Little Paxton, St James Anglican, Diocese of Ely, Grade II* In partnership with Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust Awarded for repointing and stonework repairs to the tower. CORNWALL Lanner, Christ Church Anglican, Diocese of Truro, Unlisted Awarded for complete roof replacement. Tremaine, St Winwaloe Anglican, Diocese of Truro, Grade I Awarded for stone repointing and repairs to guttering and windows. Treslothan, St John the Evangelist

LEICESTERSHIRE Ashby de la Zouch, Holy Trinity Anglican, Diocese of Leicester, Grade II Awarded to renew rainwater goods, fix downpipes and gutters, and re-slate part of the roof. Buckminster, St John the Baptist Anglican, Diocese of Leicester, Grade I Awarded to replace the lead roof above the organ to prevent further water damage. Witherley, St Peter Anglican, Diocese of Leicester, Grade I Awarded for exterior stonework and repointing on the tower, chancel and nave.
