3 Our Lady of the Elms High School Girls Choirs October 15 following the 11:00 Liturgy, The Cedars Hall will host the Chamber Choir and Encores performance groups of Our Lady of the Elms High School. The program will last approx. ½ hour and all are welcome to attend. The girls will be performing folk songs and songs of Broadway. Thank-you very much for allowing us to visit your church and perform our Fall concert for you. Choir Director Our Lady of the Elms ARCHBISHOP HOBAN HIGH SCHOOL One Holy Cross Boulevard Akron, OH Students and families interested in Archbishop Hoban High School are invited to attend an Open House on Sunday, October 8, from 1 to 3pm. Tour the school, learn more about Hoban s rigorous academic programs, explore extracurricular opportunities and meet current students and faculty. Archbishop Hoban High School will administer a Scholarship/Placement test to eighth grade students on Saturday, October 14 and Saturday, October 21. Students may register by calling the admissions office at or visiting the Admissions tab at Parents are welcome to attend an information session while their child is testing. There is a $20 test fee. IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER Sunday, October 1 Feast of St. Theresa the Little Flower. Feast Day Liturgy 6:00 pm Novena Devotions 7:00 pm followed by refreshments. Friday, October 6 Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for First Friday beginning at 8:30 am ending 12:00 noon. Come visit with Jesus, He is waiting for you. Saturday, October 7 First Saturday Rosary in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary 7:50 Divine Liturgy 8:30 am. This is also the great feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Friday, October 13 The 100 Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima Portugal by Our Blessed Lady. I plan to pray the full Rosary which is all 15 decades, 3 times throughout the day. 1 st full Rosary begins 6:45 am followed by the Morning Divine Liturgy. 2 nd full Rosary begins 11:00 am 3 rd full Rosary begins 6:00 pm. Everyone is most welcome to come for as much of the Rosary Prayer as your time allows. Come and go as many times as you are able. REMINDER The main request of our Blessed Lady was a request for us to Pray the Rosary for peace and to end the war. The Rosary Prayer is so much needed in these days.
