All the angels and saints adore Thee. And we should too! Jesus said: The Lord, your God, shall you worship and Him alone shall you serve. (Mt 4:10) Jesus is Lord! Adore the One and Only True God. Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, is the greatest after the sacraments, the one dearest to God, and the one most helpful to us. We sometimes forget Who we are receiving in Holy Communion and are visiting during Eucharistic Adoration. He is a deliver and Savior, working signs and wonders in heaven and on earth. "The devotion to the Eucharist is the most noble because it has God as its object; it is the most profitable for salvation, because It gives us the Author of Grace; it is the sweetest, because the Lord is Sweetness Itself," St. Pius X The Eucharist! It is God with us in person; you should therefore be His faithful companion...let your love of God be the test of duty, of virtue, of charity; especially, let it be the sacred scale of values by which to regulate your judgments. There are two reasons why an adorer must be present when Our Blessed Lord is exposed in the Monstrance: 1. To Adore Him! Jesus tells us to Watch and pray. Mt 26:41 2. Stand guard and protect Jesus. He suffered and died to save us. He has given us the opportunity to stand guard and be a Soldier for Him. Can you stand guard one hour a week? Today solemn exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is the grace and need of our time. 4 Do you know the difference between these two images? The image on the left is an artist s depiction of what Jesus may look like in heaven. The image on the right is a monstrance that enshrines the Most Blessed Sacrament, which we know for sure, is JESUS on earth. Lent can be an opportunity to know Jesus a little better in His Eucharistic Presence so that He becomes easily recognized. Please, stop by our Chapel and visit with Him.
