3 3 SPECIAL SERVICES AND CONCERTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS DECEMBER Sunday 2 FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT 5.00pm An Advent Sequence Sung by the Choir in procession with a stunning sequence of words and music followed by mulled wine and mince pies. Wednesday pm Carols by Candlelight A festive concert of carols and choir performances in aid of the NSPCC. To book tickets telephone Wednesday pm Schools Advent Service For schools throughout the Archdiocese of Liverpool. The Christmas story is told by pupils from the Academy of St Francis of Assisi. Thursday pm Schools Advent Service For schools throughout the Archdiocese of Liverpool. The Christmas story is told by pupils from the Academy of St Francis of Assisi. Friday pm Dementia Friendly Christmas Carol Concert Songs we remember. Featuring the students from St Benet s, Netherton and Holy Family Catholic Primary Schools along with the Songs we Remember choir. For further information place contact the Pastoral Formation Department on Saturday pm Celebration of Christmas Come and join us for this very special Christmas Carol Concert for all the family. A magical evening of Christmas carols and seasonal favourites for all the family featuring the BBC s Roger Phillips as compere. Tuesday pm Light up a Life Service Organised by Nugent Why not dedicate a light on the Tree of Light to celebrate the life of a loved one, past or present. For more details please ring Sunday pm Festival Carol Service A mix of seasonal music and readings as well as congregational carols that will have something for the whole family. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served after the Service. Monday pm First Vespers of Christmas and Blessing of the Crib Sung by the Girls Choir. During the Service the Christmas Crib will be blessed.
