We will have an ingathering and blessing of pledge cards at each service. A soup/salad lunch will follow the 10:30 service! Please plan to join us on this very special day Advent Wreaths On Sunday, November 26 th at 4:00 pm we will be hosting an Advent wreath workshop where you can make and take a wreath to celebrate Advent in your home. 3 Thanksgiving Baskets The Wednesday morning Bible Study group will again be collecting nonperishable food items to distribute through Help Network to families this Thanksgiving. There are plastic baskets in Shoemaker Hall for your donations of: canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned yams, packages of stuffing, and packages of instant mashed potatoes, boxed desserts, boxed cornbread mixes, and gravy packages. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, that money will be used to buy gift certificates for a meat choice. Any questions? Call Ellen Your assistance with this thanks giving project will be most appreciated All Saints Christmas Pageant and Lessons and Carols Practice for the All Saints Pageant will be held Saturday, Dec 9 th at 10am. If you would like your child to participate, please have them at this rehearsal. The pageant will be held on Dec. 10 th at the 10:30 service. Later that night we will be having our annual Lessons and Carols at 7pm NEIGHBORS TABLE Thanks to those whose generosity helps us serve delicious, nutritious meals every Saturday. We continue to welcome newcomers to Neighbors Table nearly every week. Please remember Neighbors Table in your prayers. Volunteers are welcome to join the teams on Saturdays from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM or for a couple hours during this time to help prepare food, serve or clean up after lunch. So the Lord sold them into the hand of King Jabin of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; the commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth-hagoiim. Then the Israelites cried out to the Lord for help; for he had nine hundred chariots of iron, and had oppressed the Israelites cruelly twenty years. At that time Deborah, a prophetess, wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel. She used to sit under the palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the Israelites came up to her for judgment. Then he went away. The one who had received the five talents went off at once and traded with them, and made five more talents. In the same way, the one who had the two talents made two more talents. But the one who had received the one talent went off and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master s money. After a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them. Then the one who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five more talents, saying, Master, you handed over to me five talents; see, I have made five more talents. His master said to him, Well done, good and trustworthy slave; you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
