14 «Auréa» is a non-profit association with a humanitarian purpose. The name Auréa means golden light. The association s motivation is «to provoke an attitude of respect and compassion towards all those who are weaker, be it animals or human beings. It s purpose is to aid and assist the most deprived beings who are in need or who suffer from illness, regardless of race, origin or faith. To this effect, the association can intervene at various levels relative to the wellbeing of beings. From environmental protection,nature and species to medical help, as well as social, ecological, legal and administrative information, education and food aid. Through providing a support network, Aurea wishes to increase the standing of each individual by helping them acquire a material, physical and psychological autonomy, therefore allowing them to regain personal dignity.
