3 One Spirit Shamanism Healing System One Spirit is a very powerful energy based Shamanic Healing System that uses your heart, unconditional love, and symbols. One Spirit takes you inside yourself, so that you can look deeper, beneath the surface and see your true self. Within you there are Animal Totems that protect your chakras. There are animals with their own special abilities that guard each chakra - each chakra has its own special animal guardian. This system is similar to Reiki, in that both Reiki and One Spirit teaches how to heal yourself and others, how to send energy distantly and remotely, and both Reiki and One Spirit works to heal body, mind, and spirit. But One Spirit also teaches you how to love and forgive yourself unconditionally and without judgment. The main difference between Reiki and One Spirit, is that One Spirit connects you to your animal guardians-animal totems and animal spirit guides. It works more with animals and Nature. You will learn how to meet your animal guides and get to know them, how to help heal each other, and how to work together toward specific goals, including healing yourself, others, animals, and Mother Earth. 4 Ancient Native Americans believed each of us have 11 Animal Guardians, two of which remain with us our entire life. They are our Power Animals; one walks on our right and protects our female side, and the other walks on our left and protects our male side. The other 9 Animal Guardians change according to the lessons we have learned and the challenges we face everyday. We all have lessons and life challenges. We are always going through changes. In the cycle of things, these changes are called death, and rebirth. We must release the old (death) so that the new (rebirth) can come in. Often we need help with learning the lessons we need to master in life, and Animal Guardians and Totem Animals are there to help us. Each Animal Totem and Animal Guardian the we have within, has special powers and abilities that are needed to help us learn and grow. They are able to help us with specific problems and lessons we are here to learn in this lifetime. When our Animal Guides help us, we are able to complete our lessons, learn what it is we are meant to work on in this lifetime, often without even knowing these special Animals have come forward to help. 5 This works both ways, because our Animal Guides also have lessons to learn and challenges, just as we do, and we are able to help each other. All Animals, including Humans, are considered to be predators. When you think about it, Animals are very important to Humans. Scientists study animals including Dolphins, Whales, Orcas, and Sharks, as well as other Animals, in order to learn from these Animals, and to discover cures for illnesses and diseases. Animals provide food, tools, clothing, leather, and many other necessary things we need to survive. Humans are not the only ones who self-sacrifice for other lives - Animals do also. They give their lives so that we may survive. We depend on Animals, just as they depend on us. There are so many endangered Animals that will cease to exist in years to come without our help. Chief Joseph once said, If we destroy all the animals, then what happens to the animals, also happens to us. In other words, we are all connected. 6 Introduction to Diane Bellefeuille A little about me: I am Native American and I also have a very strong connection to my heritage as well as the Great Spirit. As a child, I always had a strong connection to animals. I felt One with them, and I could understand them, more so than some people in my life. As I got older, I found myself working with horses and different types of animals. I could feel them with my heart. I opened my heart to them, as they opened theirs to me. When I looked into their eyes, I could feel their sadness, loneliness, and their happiness when they were content. I always heard this voice inside my head saying, You are One with them. They are One with you, my child. I met a friend, who attuned me to Reiki and that changed my whole world. I knew the love that was in my heart, now was in my hands, and I could send that love that I had inside to all the animals from my heart to theirs. 7 I became a Master Teacher of Reiki-some of you know me as Eagle Dancer. From Reiki I went into Shamballa, and that is where I met the voice inside my head. During my Master Shamballa attunement, he came to me and said, My child. He is my Great Great Grandfather and some of you know him as Geronimo. But I know him as Grandpa, and I love him a lot. He is also a guide for me, and he s always been with me since I was a child-the voice of courage and love. From Shamballa, I mastered a lot of different Reiki Healing Systems. Then I began to study Shamanism. In this way, I am like my Grandpa, because he was a healer as well as a Shaman. I began to channel messages from him. After I completed Ama Deus Shamanism and became a Master Teacher, I was given the name Voice of Spirit. It took me awhile to figure out what exactly it meant. I had animals showing up at my door a baby squirrel. A baby Blue Jay trying to fly knocked at my door. I went outside to give him encouragement, and told him he could fly. His mother was over my head, as I sent him energy with love. From my door, he flew to the bushes. From that day on, it took him two weeks to learn to fly, but he never gave up. 8 One Spirit is a Universal Life Force Energy. This means that the energy coming from your heart to the other animal s heart, is a Universal Life Force that is filled with love. Love is the strongest Life Force there is. It continuously revolves in a circle. Love always has a beginning that never ends. When you combine the love that is unconditional, it becomes the life force of the Universe. When you touch an animal s heart, or a human heart with love, they in turn feel the love and the Higher Spirit Self uses that love to help heal them, working where it is needed most. When I do energy work on animals or humans, I automatically open my heart to them and connect to their heart. I set my intent for the highest best, and the Higher Spirit Self knows that there is love flowing to them. I also call in my Grandpa Geronimo for extra help. I call in the Ascended Masters, and when they help, they send to us love. We become the receiver of the Universal Energy that is connected to source and in turn, we become the channel of love that is pure. One Spirit 2006 by Diane Bellefeuille all rights reserved 8

9 When we are all joined together, with the same intent, we become One of one another-together, we are One! Many of the Reiki healing systems include animals. But none are written for Animals and Shamanism, that I have seen. One Spirit helps you work very close with your own animal guides. Your Animal Guides have special abilities that you don t have yourself. Your Animal Guides help you solve the problems you are having. Example: If you are having problems with seeing the truth in something a person is telling you, and you know there is more to it than the person is willing to admit-you can call on a hawk or an owl to help you over see the problem and to find the truth that is hidden from you. I have been doing photo reads for a long time, and one of my gifts is that I can see through the veils. When I do a photo read, the picture deforms and the animals become part of your face, your hair, your neck. After doing a lot of research on the meanings of animals and things associated with personalities, it is clear that the animals personalities are within you and some of your characteristics are the same as that of the animals within you. My Grandpa Geronimo always said, I am one with them. They are one with me. And that is how I came up with One Spirit. We all have One Body, One heart, One mind. Together with our animals Guides, we are all One Spirit. Ancient Native Americans believed that all humans had animal instinct, and all animals, including humans, are considered to be Predators. 10 A little about Chakras The most powerful way to open, activate, energize, and balance all of our chakras is to keep our bodies and our minds in a healthy condition. Learning to be our own best friend, being kind to ourselves, and learning to love ourselves and others unconditionally is important to keeping our chakras clear of negative energies that can be harmful to us, or may cause illness. Love is truly the greatest healer. Love is vitalizing and nourishing. It is the sustenance of life. When we begin to love and accept ourselves, we are able to offer this love to others. Our minds and our bodies become charged and vitalized with this electricity. This may seem a difficult thing to achieve, but in actuality, it is possible if you believe. Once you believe, this belief sets into motion the desire within ourselves to move into this state of being. Then everything we think and do begins to manifest this reality right away. Remember, what you create, the Universe recreates and sends it back to you the same way. Our entire body/mind system is a connecting link to all levels of universal consciousness. Each one of us is interconnected, a holographic part of All that is. As we open ourselves into greater expression of love, caring, wisdom, power, joy, and all other positive emotions, we give a wonderful gift to ourselves and to all of creation. As one person becomes whole, humanity on a collective level is that much closer to wholeness. There are other things you can do to awaken the chakras, such as meditation, cleansing the chakras, connecting them together, working with your animals guides within your chakras. 11 Human Chakras The Human body contains hundreds of locations where there is focused and concentrated energy. However, there are seven which are considered major energy centers. These are commonly referred to as chakras. Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means wheel. The chakras are spinning vortexes of energy, similar to wheels. They are the centers of force, located within our etheric body, through which we receive, transmit, and process Universal Life energies. Each chakra is recognized as a focal point of life force relating to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energies. The chakras are the network though which body, mind, heart, and spirit interact as one spirit system. The seven major chakras correspond to specific aspects of our consciousness and have their own individual characteristics. The characteristics are animal guardians or your animal totems that help you to function. Each has a corresponding relationship to one of the various glands of the body s endocrine system, as well as to one of the seven colors of the rainbow spectrum. Everything that lives and breathes is pure energy. The colors of the rainbow are also connected to your own chakra colors, as well as animals, trees, bushes, plants, and the solar system. The sun radiates in color. When you combine all colors together they become white, which connects you to source, and the Universe. In turn, we become channels of energy in the works. 12 The main purpose in working with and understanding the chakras is to create integration and wholeness within ourselves. In this way, we bring the various aspects of our consciousness, from the physical to the spiritual into a harmonious relationship. Ultimately, we begin to recognize that the different aspect of ourselves (physical, material, sexual, spiritual, animal guides, etc.) all work together, and that each aspect is as much a part of the whole as the others. We must be able to acknowledge, accept, and integrate all levels of our being. To help us in the process of our enfoldment, it is most important to understand that the chakras are doorways for our consciousness. They are doorways through which emotional, mental, and spiritual force flow into physical expression. They are openings through which our attitudes and belief systems enter into and create our body/mind structure. The energy created from our emotions and mental attitudes runs through the chakras and is distributed to our cells, tissues, and organs. Realizing this brings tremendous insight into how we ourselves affect our bodies, minds, and circumstances for better or worse. To understand the chakras and animals, their relationship to our consciousness is to better understand decisions from a place of awareness and balance, rather than being blindly influenced by forces we do not understand. 13 Animal Guides and Totem Animals Some people are unaware of their animal guides, or don t have a specific one. There are many different animals that you can call upon. Once you do this more often, you will find yourself befriending a certain one. Usually this animal is one that is most like yourself. Here are some things you should look at when finding your animal spirit guide. What animal are you most drawn or attracted to? Especially during your childhood? When you go to the zoo, what is the first animal that you want to see? What animals do you dream about? If there is a specific animal that you have dreams about all the time, this is probably a guide that is already there for you, and speaks to you through your dreams. 14 What animals can you relate to? If there a certain animal that you think has a personality like your own? Are you like a dolphin because you are playful and good hearted? Are you like a dog because you are a good and loyal friend? Animals that are opposite of you can also be animal guides. I say this because if you need help in something, you may have to call on an animal that has none of your qualities. Maybe you are depressed and need to call on that dolphin to help make you happy. Maybe you befriend people too easily and need an owl to open your eyes so you can see that many of these people are betraying you. Or maybe you need a hawk to fly above a situation to get a better view of what s going on. A spirit guide is one who helps your through the journeys of life and helps you learn the lessons that these journeys teach you. 15 Guide represents different aspects of yourself. A Spirit Guide can be someone from your past who cared about you, for example, mine is my Great Grandfather, or someone who owes you a sort of karmic retribution for something from the past. They can also be Spirits sent by the Divine to help you in times when you need it. A Spirit Guide may stay with you for your whole life, or it may not. You may have several or only one. This will depend on the lessons you must learn and the journeys you face in life. I have found that on an average, people have about four Spirit Guides. One for each aspect of themselves: emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical. Sometimes people have more to represent sub selves such as the love self, the working self, the caring self, inner self, higher self, etc.. All this will depend on you. There are several ways to discover who your Animal Spirit Guide is. Most guides want you to discover them. There are also several different ways of working with a guide. 16 What is a Totem Animal? Unlike a Spirit Guide, I see a Power Animal as a guide who will be with you your whole life. A Totem Animal is the one who presents life challenges. This is what gives one their personality, characteristics, and level of understanding. They don t necessarily guide you, but present that which you must learn, then helps you deal with the results of just how you decided to deal with the problem. You can have many different Totem Animals. I find that people generally have about nine. Perhaps it is one to signify each of the elements in your life. Perhaps it is just to represent the six stages of your life. I have found that everyone has two main Power Animals, which travel with you your whole life. One protects your right side and the other protects your left side. There is also a hidden Totem Animal, which is your heart totem, and several animals to help you through different part of your life. One Spirit 2006 by Diane Bellefeuille all rights reserved 16

17 Your main totems are the animals which travel with you your whole life. They are the two which most influence you and your personality. These animals usually appear when you are very young and stay with you until you pass on. These animals will usually make themselves know to those around the person whom they represent. Your hidden animal represents the inner aspects of your personality-your heart. A hidden animal might be considered the dark or light side of your personality. He or she is the protector of your heart, and no one can enter unless you allow it. This Totem Animal often remains with you, influencing your subconscious decisions and personality. Often this animal remains hidden from everyone around you, and will only show itself if the time is just right, or the situation needs it. There are several ways to find your Totem Animal. They also have different meanings. None are all positive and none are all negative. They are neither and both. All have advantages and disadvantages. Don t let the meaning of the Totem Animal prompt you to choose one. You don t choose your animal-it chooses you. One Spirit 2006 by Diane Bellefeuille all rights reserved 17

18 The difference between a Spirit Guide and a Totem Animal A Spirit Guide is just that, one who guides your Spirit. A Totem Animal will influence how you deal with the information your Spirit Guide gives you. A Spirit Guide helps you make decisions and will give you advice. An Animal Spirit - Totem Animal - will throw tests at you, then help you deal with the results of that test. So, the Spirit Guide starts the journeys in your life so that you may learn, while the Totem Animal helps you deal with that trial. Often both the Spirit Guide and the Totem Animal will work together, but they can also be opposing forces. Although you may think that they know everything (and sometimes they like you to believe that they do), they don t. They can only see what is presented to them, just like you can only see what is presented to you. However, they can help you make decisions and give you advice. Animal correspondences The characteristics of a specific animal are often rubbed off on those who have it as a totem. We often harness the natural power and energy of our animal. This energy may come in many forms, but is often closely associated with the attitude and habitat of the animal itself. The relationship you have with your animal guide also depends on its energies and attitude. Relationships with your totem animals are strongly based on emotional, spiritual, physical, and psychological characteristics of the animal you are dealing with. 19 Ass - wisdom and humility-cycle of power year round. Ant - Patience, stamina, community-mindedness. Antelope - knowledgeable, action, speed, rapid growth, grace. Armadillo - knowledge of boundaries, objectivity, personal protection, discrimination, and empathy. Badger - aggressiveness, persistence, centeredness. Bat - releasing old habits, new growth, rebirth. Bear - strength, introspection, self-knowledge, awakening the power of the unconscious. Beaver - balance, alterations, building, shaping. Bee - community service, gathering, communities, aggressive. Bird - unity, freedom, community, light-hearted. Boar - fertility, wealth, courage, strong warriors. Baboon - hailer of the dawn (clown). Black Panther - astral travel, guardian energy, symbol of feminine, understanding, death, reclaiming ones power, ability to know the dark, death and rebirth. Buffalo - abundance, prayer, healing, good fortune. Butterfly - transformation, courage to change, balance, grace. Caribou - travel, mobility. Cat - independent, grace, sensuality, psychic visions. Cougar - leadership, power wisely without ego, balancing power, intention, strength, gaining self-confidence, freedom from guilt, cunning. Curled Lizard - conversations. Crab - female force of nature. Crow - shape shifter, travel between dimensions, messenger, council, intuitive knowledge of universal law, assertiveness. Camel - golden orange color of the camel means emotional chakra of the earth, the golden ray is the color of transformation, will shove you into darkness and demand that you use your inner sources to survive, grow, and be awakened. 20 Cow - being alert to danger, love connection, health, prosperity. Cricket - happiness, work well with the elements. Cheetah - speed, focus. Chimpanzee - living, harmony. Chinchilla - teaches importance of timing, something that is out of balance, needs to be corrected immediately. Deer - self sacrifice, gentleness, sensitive, alertness, peace. Dog - loyal, courage, protection, unconditional love. Dolphin - harmony, love wisdom, connection with one self, changes. Dragonfly - refinement of skills, illusion, need for change, relentlessness. Donkey - humility, stubbornness. Eagle - spiritual enlightenment, clarity of vision, transcendent. Elephant - ancient knowledge, memory, learning ability, health, good luck. Elk - stamina, friendship, pride, power, majesty. Falcon - accuracy, rapid progress, restraint. Fly - ruler of demons. Frog - male force of nature. Fox - cleverness, adaptability, cunning, subtlety, discretion. Fish - love, fertility, victory over death, healing, prophesy, abundance, wealth, harmony, regeneration, children, bringing love into your life. Flying Mantis - power of stillness, prosperous, meditation. Flamingo - journey in physical or spiritual. Firefly - illumination, understanding, life force, continuity, wonder, awe, light and darkness. Goat - tenacity, diligence, stubbornness. Gopher - gathering, preparation for the future. Grouse - completion, sacred spiral dance, fulfillment. Hawk - messenger, truth seeker, clear vision, heightened awareness. Hedgehog - self-preservation. Horse - inner power, freedom, safe movements. 21 Koala - have strong psychic and clairaudient abilities, sound that soothes the senses, working late hours, stand solid within yourself and not be influenced by situations and events. Kangaroo - keep your personal energy field tightly woven around them preventing distraction, keeping your personal energy fields clear of outside influences, to aid, to stay centered and focused, adventure, change, leap into the unknown without fear. Lion - association with the sun God Ra, courage, nobleness, prosperity. Lizard - caution, regeneration, renewal, growth. Loon - communication, serenity. Lynx - subtlety, silence, secretiveness, elusiveness. Manatee - serenity, gentleness, trust. Moose - self-esteem, confidence, strength, spontaneity, unpredictable. Mouse - overlooking the little things, caution, success, awareness to danger. Mermaid - Deva connected to the water element, emotional or soul reactions. Mole - spiritual blindness and deafness, endowed with the secrets of the earth. Orca - using vibration to heal, finding your soul song, soul memory, seeing the unseen. Octopus - emotions, approach things with universal love, strength and faith. Parrot - carries special powers and blessings. Pig - rooting out the truth, deep earth magic, past life knowledge, intelligence, generosity. Penguin - lucid dreaming, astral projection. Python - darkness, feminine power of earth, wisdom. Praying Mantis - strength, adaptability, ease of communications. Porcupine - innocence. Rabbit - conquering fear, safety, nervousness, gentleness with self. Raccoon - curiosity, skillful, playful energy. Salmon - determination, persistence. Seagull - observation, swift action, opportunity, carefree attitude. Skunk - self respect. Seal - inner voice. 22 Sea Horse - confidence, grace. Shark - survival, hunter, adaptability. Scorpion - death, rebirth, repelling negative energy, transformation. Snail - determination. Slug - fluidity, look beyond yourself, feeling needs of others. Squid - creativity, silence, learning things. Turtle - mother earth. Turkey - give things away, holds nothing personal to self. Unicorns - purity, innocence, virginity, connection to weather patterns, connection to forest and fairies. White Tiger - power, energy, strength, will power in the face of adversity, action in a timely manner, action without analysis. Whale - record keeper, teaches you to listen to your inner voice and feel the heart beat of the universe. Zebra - individuality. Albino or White Animals are revered and thought to be sacred by many cultures around the world. They are thought to represent the pure embodiment of the spirit of the Master Animal, bringing news of major worldly changes, spiritual revelations, or mastery of the spiritual aspect s characteristics. 23 This is a list of the Birds I have come across doing photo reads, and here are the meanings of them. If you have a special feeling for any of the animals or birds, hold them in your heart, because they may be one of your animal guides, power animals, or totem animals. Blackbird - understanding of the energies of Mother Nature. Blue Jay - proper use of power, territory. Canary - power of song and voice, heightened sensitivity. Cardinal - renewed vitality through recognizing your importance. Chickadee - cheerful expression of truth. Chicken - fertility and sacrifice. Cock (rooster) - sexuality, watchfulness and resurrection, optimism. Crane - longevity and creation through focus, expression of feminine energies. Crow - magic, creation, spiritual strength. Dove - feminine energies of peace, maternity, prophecy, and promise of future. Ducks - emotional comfort and protection. Eagle - illumination of spirit, messenger, new visions. Finch - energy of variety and multiplicity, increasing your own potentials. Goose - call of the quest, travels to legendary places, search new dimensions. Hawk - awakening visionary power, guardianship, awareness, truth. Hummingbird - tireless joy, beauty, accomplishing the impossible. Loon - lucid dreaming and re awakening of old hopes, wishes, and dreams. Mockingbird - finding your own sacred song (soul purpose), and recognition of your innate abilities. 24 Owl - the mystery of magic, omens, silent wisdom, vision at night, being able to see the truth in words spoken. Pelican - you are not overcome by your own emotions, unselfishness. Pheasant - family, fertility, and sexuality. Pigeon - return to love and security of home, very gentle and loving energy. Raven - magic, shape shifting, and creation. Robin - growth and renewal. Sparrow - you know how to survive, awakening and triumph of common nobility. Starling - group behavior, clear communications. Stork - birth and unspoken communications. 25 Mythological Animals Unicorns - purity, innocence, virginity, connection to weather patterns, connection to forest spirits, devas, and fairies. Dragon - transformed being. If you find you do have a dragon, they hide, but they also have ancient knowledge and will protect you. If you ask them their name, they will reveal it to you, but only you. Phoenix - keeper of the fires of creativity, protector of fire, death and rebirth, regeneration, connection to ravens. Gryphons/griffons - guardians. They symbolize spiritual enlightenment, the seasons, the relationships between physical energy and cosmic forces (sun, sky, earth, etc.). Gargoyles - evil and good. 26 Grounding Meditation For some of you who have never done a grounding meditation, and you are not sure how to visualize, the easiest way to do this meditation is to simply place 2 quartz crystals under each one of your feet. That way, you can still see with your mind s eye roots growing and wrapping around the crystal. You can also feel the energy and still pull the energy up into you. Let s begin: Take a few deep breaths, blow them out slowly, with your feet flat on the floor, and close your eyes and Visualize Roots growing out of the bottom of your feet, down into the core of Mother Earth. Visualize the roots wrapping around the two quartz crystals, and some of your roots have split ends that are wrapping around the roots of a tree. 27 What we are going to do is pull the energy up into your feet, feel the energy coming up from your feet. Pull it up into your ankles, from your ankles, pull it up to your knees. You should start to feel tingles of energy coming up into your legs. From your knees, pull the energy up to your thighs. Keep pulling up and relax. From your thighs, keep pulling the energy up into your belly. From your belly, pull the energy up into your heart. You should be feeling pretty good at this time. From your heart, keep pulling the energy up into your throat. From your throat, pull the energy up into your 3 rd eye. Take another deep breath, and release it slowly. Relax and then continue pulling from your 3 rd eye, and pull the energy up into the top of your head. From the top of your head, which is your crown, visualize the roots growing out of the top of your head straight up. See the roots wrap around the tree branches. Those same split ends or roots are growing and wrapping around the moon, the stars, planets, the sun, reaching up into Father Sky. You are now connected to Mother Earth and Father Sky. 28 Animal Spirit Meditation Relax, feet flat on the floor, and take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes and visualize yourself on a sandy beach. Listen to the sounds of the waves coming on shore. Relax. Smell the salt air, feel the breeze as it lightly touches your face, and listen. When you are comfortable and relaxed, ask your animal spirit to come out and meet you. You can also invite them to come and sit with you or even sit a little away from you. Tell them that it is okay, however they feel comfortable. At first, they may be a little shy. It takes time. Take it slow and don t be afraid. Sometimes the animals that come to meet you, aren t always the ones you were expecting. But don t be afraid - they won t hurt you. 29 Open your heart to them as they have opened theirs to you. When you talk to them, they will talk to you. You just need to listen. Look around and see what else comes to you. Sometimes colors will also appear. Angels, fairies, etc. may come to you also, and whatever comes to you has a special message just for you. Sometimes they even leave gifts for you. When you feel it is time to return back, always remember to thank the animals and those who have joined you and come on back. Don t be discouraged if this doesn t happen on the first try. Sometimes it takes more than once for them to come out and show themselves. Have a pencil and paper close to you so you can write down what you saw and what came to you. The next time you try and do it again, do it the same way and write down what comes to you, what animals you see, and the messages they have for you. 30 Chakra Guardian Meditation Meet the aspects and elements of your inner self. This is a meditation process for meeting your chakras as beings or as the Guardian Animal that is realized in each one. Then you can have conversations in meditation circles with them to find ways to meet your needs and understand and harmonize your life energies. This will give you a more direct way of clearing and balancing your chakras and achieving and maintaining a healthy energy system. If you do not get an impression from a chakra after a few minutes, move on to the next one. It may be fairly unusual to meet all of the chakra beings in one session, though it can happen. Some chakras have two beings or more for the front and back aspects, and other parts of themselves. The kind of animal you meet varies greatly. 31 First relax completely and visualize waves of relaxation sweeping through your body. Use the method of deep relaxation and spiritual centering that works best for you. When you are completely relaxed, bring your attention to your Root Chakra at your tailbone. Ask that chakra to reveal itself as the guardian totem animal that is most representative of it at this time. Be open to receiving impressions. When you get an impression, greet the Being and thank them for coming into your awareness and for their work on your behalf. Ask them what they need from you and also ask what gift or information they have for you now - allowing time for the answers to come. When you have finished meeting your Root Chakra animal, thank it. Move your focus to the Sacral Chakra, right below your navel and repeat the process and continue with each of the seven chakras until you have gone to all the main chakras and met them. 32 You can then invite the guardian totem animals into a Circle to discuss the needs and concerns you have. Ask each animal what you need to do to get your chakras into the most healthy condition and ask them to help you do this. Pay close attention to the relationships between the different chakra animals and ask what is needed to help them be in harmony so that they can work together. Some people find that not all of their parts are talking to each other for instance. When you are done, dissolve the circle and thank the Beings and center yourself, returning to your Oneness. This is just the beginning of working with the Chakra Guardians and Beings. The possibilities are endless. Your chakra animals change and evolve over time and you may hear from those at minor chakra centers, and from the emerging transpersonal centers, such as the etheric heart at the Thymus (compassion) and the soul star and earthstar too that need your attention and love as well. It can be pretty extraordinary and revealing to see how the different chakras have a voice and a personality and a presence all of their own - which is all a part of you. 35 Color and tone cleansing the chakras Here are some chakra color treatments to put you back in balance. They were given to me by a good friend and Shaman. For the following, visualize each specific color penetrating and cleansing that chakra. This is a good way to balance yourself in the morning before getting up and starting your day. Root Chakra - a very bright shade of red. You can also chant oohm in tone C while doing this. Sacral Chakra (just below the navel) - a clear shade of orange. You can chant ohm in tone D for this one. Solar Plexus Chakra - a bright sunny yellow. You can chant ahm in tone E for this one. Heart Chakra - You can visualize a bright green or bright pink. Both are seen as the color of this chakra. You can chant ah in tone F for this one. Throat Chakra - a light shade of blue. You can chant ehm in tone G for this one. Third Eye Chakra - a transparent indigo. You can chant eem in tone A for this one. Crown Chakra - Violet or white are both seen as the color of this chakra. You can chant om in tone B for this one.
