1 COLOR MAGICK The Magick of Color. Or as we like to call it...beauty. Ever wonder why your favorite restaurant paints their walls a specific color? Or why certain colors are associated with different days of the year? Or even why specific colored candles are requested for in a Wiccan Ritual? The idea of color magick has been around for many centuries in many cultures although not always referred to as magick or magic. Color was vastly used for healing purposes such as treating illnesses or creating bandages. It was also used to indicate what part of society a person belonged to. In dealing with Wicca, colors are of great importance. We use colors to represent what Sabbat we might be celebrating or to promote certain feelings and results that are needed in our Wiccan Rituals. Color is also very important when dealing with s and Auras and can help you determine what color you might need to wear today in order to pass that test or get that house you've been trying to buy. Whatever your goal in magick or everyday life may be, color is a very important and useful tool. Following is a list of colors and their corresponding magickal properties along with colors associated with our s. The first seven colors are the most basic and most widely used colors in ritual and and Aura reading. These colors were discovered by Sir Isaac Newton, in 1666, when a ray of light passed through a prism and divided into the seven colors of the spectrum. He associated them with the seven known (at the time) planetary energies. With this information you can determine what to wear for a day, what color candles you may want to use in your rituals or what part of your Aura or you may want to strengthen. Enjoy... This chakra color adds power and support to your system. Vitality, ambition, sexual power and leadership. A healthy red aura indicates good health and is often seen in athletes. Orange breaks down barriers and cures depression. Physical vitality, harmony. An orange aura can indicate a need to reduce stress but is also seen around people who are very outgoing. This color heals all parts of the body. Balance and harmony. This color of aura shows a trusting and loving nature, and is naturally associated with artists. Green has always been associated with the faerie folk, the Green Man and God or Goddess of vegetation and forest. Healing, transformation, New beginnings, financial gains, prosperity, hopefulness, spring and immortality. BLUE: Moon, Virgo, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces Monday & Friday & Wednesday. Yule (December 21) Throat~ Neck, throat, thyroid, lungs, windpipe, and ears. This color can help release mental confusion. Logical and intelligent. 6 Sun, Leo GOLD: Sunday. Ostara (March 20) & Litha (June 21) Gold could be substituted for Yellow of the Solar Plexus. This color will remove negative thinking. Unlimited potential, harmony and talent. This type of aura indicates a person that many people are attracted to because of their vibrant personality. Solar energy and God. Leadership, logical thinking, problem-solving, conscious awareness, health and recovery. SILVER: Wednesday. Silver would be a perfect color for Esbats or Full Moon Rituals & Litha (June 21) Idealistic, able to adapt easily, high energy. This is the aura of wisdom or someone who strives to attain it. Moon magic, reality, astral travel, restore balance, endurance, meditation, peace, freedom, connection to spirit.

7 BROWN/BRONZE: Scorpio, Capricorn Imbolc (February 2) & Lughnasadh (August 1) & Mabon (September 22) Bronze: Generous, Humanitarian. Brown: Selfish or someone who is in need of healing and is in a very fragile state. Security, friendship, nature magick GRAY: Unhappiness and low energy.
