For the purpose of this workshop, he has reviewed and summarized those parts of the sessions, where the subjects experienced insights into basic ontological problems, such as: "Who are we7 Where did we come tr:om?-iaii:la-t -is the meal'lil'lg of eur Lives? What is mar's mlation- to God.! What is th nature o.f the Univer-5&?-. What is the relationship between spirit and matter? What is space and time7" Are these experiences of, psychedelic subjects random delusional products of a chemically a ltered brain, or do they represent deep and relevant insights into the mysteries of the Universe and human nature7 Dr. Grof will try to describe a surprisingly consistent metaphysical system emerging from psychedelic work and compare it with existing mystical and religious frameworks and revolutionary discoveries of 20th century science.
