2 What is Chip s Background & Testimony? I was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on January 5, I was saved and baptized at Cottondale Baptist Church in I grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball at Tuscaloosa Christian School where I graduated in I have been involved in student ministry leadership since 1997 by volunteering, teaching, preaching, traveling, counseling, and pastoring. After I graduated from Baptist Bible College in 2001 with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies, I interned for a year in Detroit, MI under Patrick McGoldrick and then moved to Louisville, KY for seminary. I graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary s Billy Graham School of Church Growth, Missions, and Evangelism in 2006 with a Masters of Divinity. I was called to the Huntsville, AL area for 6 years to be the Youth and College Pastor at Capshaw Baptist Church. I then moved to Woodstock, GA to in September 2013 to become the Middle School Pastor and then Student Pastor / High School Pastor at FBC Woodstock. Currently, I am the Global Student Pastor at Liberty Baptist Church as we are one church in three locations across the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. One of my passions and callings is to travel the country and the world to impact and influence the student ministry culture to think, lead, and live gospelcenteredly. What are CENTRIC resources all about? I will never forget sitting in the office of my first church where I was learning how to be a youth pastor. God there revealed it all to me. I was thinking to myself what I wanted each one of my students to study during their student ministry career in our ministry. I also wanted to answer the parents question, What will my teenager learn if we join your church? At that time in my ministry, I was just going from series to series. I was noticing that all of my series began to look the same. There was no end goal. There was no cohesion. I had no real strategy.

3 . Then it hit me. I believe God spoke to me. If All Scripture is God breathed is profitable (2 Tim 3:16) and if we are teach them to observe all that Jesus has commanded (Matt 28:20), then why wouldn t I want to take every single student through the entire Bible during their teenage years? I had also been learning so much about the gospel through my theology classes in seminary, why then wouldn t I want to teach my students about doctrine? On top of all that, this would answer the question to the parents. Your student would get to learn the whole Bible and every major Christian doctrine in a Christ-centered, gospel-grounded, and culture-changing kind of way! Since then, it has been my ministry goal to continue teaching through the entire Bible and every doctrine in my student ministry career. What makes CENTRIC resources different? I have a few different speaking options for your Disciple Now Conference, Summer Camp, or other conference/camp venues. 1. By a Youth Pastor, For Youth Pastors: This curriculum has not been written by a publishing company, but it has been written on a weekly basis by a youth pastor in the trenches. These files are my blood, sweat, and tears. These sermons are very raw, very real, and God used them in a very powerful way. Our student ministry tripled in attendance. 2. Christ-centered: This curriculum and these resources are unapologetically Christocentric. Many publishing companies offer watered-down curriculum to market to any church. These resources are what you see is what you get. Jesus is the main character and the hero in every single lesson, sermon, and series. 3. Gospel-grounded: These lessons are not Jesus only. They dive deeply into the gospel. The goal of every lesson, sermon, and series are to deepen a students understanding of how to live the gospel.

4 4. Life-changing: These resources are not dry, boring overviews through books, but they are applicable and practical to a teen s life. What resources are available? Everything is listed in the order form, but sermon series are available from the whole Bible (Genesis - Revelation) and all of Doctrine (from the Doctrine of Jesus to the Doctrine of End Times). Most of these sermon series offer files such as sermon notes, sermon outlines, sermon commentary, sermon mp3, fill-out sheets, powerpoint slides, and even some videos. There are over 4,000 files total with more than 12GB of data. The files will give you over 6 years sermons, small groups, etc. You will see these files are not polished, but they are very raw. They are the files of a real student pastor doing real student ministry daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. How do I get the resources? The best way to get you the resources is via DropBox. When I have received your payment, I will send you a DropBox link where you will be able to download all the resources for yourself. Can I see an example? Absolutely. Simply let me know which book or doctrine of the Bible you would like to see, and I ll it back to you. Can I edit and make copies? You are free to make these resources your own.
