Outstanding value By Rhondda This really is the complete works of Cicero. It even includes his attempt at an epic poem on his consulship. Texts are provided in both English and Latin with clear modern translations (with the excusable exception of the poem). The book is very well illustrated and includes biographies of Cicero as well as background information about the texts. They are as well easily navigable. What more could you want? Thomas Sherman I hesitated before purchasing this based on the one negative review, but I decided to take a chance. It indeed turns out that that person is utterly wrong, and upon browsing I find the text is quite clean and reads just find; while being accompanied by a perfectly functioning table of contents. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Needs editorial work By RDG The selection is comprehensive, and translations good. But the Latin is practically unusable, because Cicero uses Greek words and phrases abundantly - in his letters, sometimes every sentence. And the Greek has been
