2 The Jesus Loves Kzoo FORCE MULTIPLY Mission: To unify and rally God s Church [Ekklesia] in Kalamazoo though 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting leading up to Catalyst Week. FORCE MULTIPLY, in military usage, refers to an attribute or combination of attributes that dramatically increases (hence, "multiplies") the effectiveness of an item or group, giving a given number of troops (or other personnel) or weapons (or other hardware) the ability to accomplish greater things than without it. OUR VISION is for this to be a time where we contend TOGETHER for city-wide salvations, healings, and deliverances - with a specific focus on Catalyst Week coming up on July 8-13, United, extended prayer and fasting TOGETHER will destroy works of darkness and position ourselves for a mighty outpouring. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. -Matt 18:19-20 (NIV) Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. -Leviticus 26:8 (NIV) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power For our struggle is not against flesh and blood -Ephesians 6:10, 12 (NIV) Fasting helps express, deepens, confirms the resolution that we are ready to sacrifice anything, even ourselves, to attain what we seek for the Kingdom of God. --Andrew Murray, Missionary to South Africa Will you join the Force Multiply effort? 3 Isaiah 58:10-12 (NASB) And if you give yourself to the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, Then your light will rise in darkness and your gloom will become like midday And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; You will raise up the age-old foundations; And you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of the streets in which to dwell.
4 If you were part of the Force Multiply effort last year, you know that we corporately pressed into the verses found in Isaiah 61:1-2. This year, we will be focusing our unified prayer topics for 40 days around Isaiah 61:3-4, further continuing with the Lord s Heart for our City. and provide for those who grieve in Zionto bestow on them a Crown of Beauty, instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations." Isaiah 61:3-4 (NIV) Additional Prayer for Catalyst Week Thank You for joining the FORCE!
