3 DAY 1 Sunday, January 6th LOCATION The Bridge: Taste of Freedom at 6PM Prayer Focus: Freedom From Addiction Scripture: John 8:34-36 I speak eternal truth, Jesus said. When you sin you are not free. You ve become a slave in bondage to your sin. And slaves have no permanent standing in a family, like a son does, for a son is a part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free from sin, then become a true son and be unquestionably free! Also, Psalm 146; Luke 4:18-19; Romans 6:22 DAY 2 Monday, January 7th Prayer Focus: A Spirit of Repentance & Consecration Scripture: Psalm 51:7,10 & 12 Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. Also, Philippians 2:1-7; Colossians 3:12-17; John 15:12-13 DAY 14 Saturday, January 19th Prayer Focus: Wisdom & Favor for School Faculty & Staff Scripture: James 3:17-18 But the wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable. It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness! Good seeds of wisdom s fruit will be planted with peaceful acts by those who cherish making peace. Also, Luke 2:52; Proverbs 3:3-5 DAY 15 Sunday, January 20th Prayer Focus: Radical Pursuit of Purity, Holiness & Love Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. Therefore I urge you, imitate me. DAY 19 Thursday, January 24th Prayer Focus: Eternal Perspective Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Also, John 17:3; Jude 1:
