This study was originally created by a home educating mum to use with her own children and is currently being streamlined to use with a small Sunday School class. Portions of the study can be simplified to be used for a younger age group, or expanded for an older age group. As each portion of this 8 part study is completed the pdf version will be placed on Paste the cut out template for each church age messenger into the spaces provided on page 5 after the students have been introduced to each church age messenger. ***Print a second set to be used with the notes page on page 7 Pg 7: Notes Page. Print on paper See page 16 for a visual example of the completed lapfold After reading through the Seven Church Ages together; an older student can create their own notes/ key points to go with each church age and it s messenger. For a younger student, or one who is allergic to writing, we recommend a parent (or another adult) acts as a scribe (writing down) while the student narrates (tells back) what he has learnt. Using your own guided questions will ensure the student gleans the most from your family reading time of the church ages. Pgs 8 14: Copywork /Handwriting pages. (read through verses ) See page 16 for a visual example of these cards in use. Suggestions for use: Print both pages of memory scripture verses on card stock. Cut out each scripture card and store in lapnote pocket. (Pg 4). How to Use: Select a card to use for memorisation time. (Putting a tune to the piece of scripture being learnt often helps.) Re-enforce learning time by getting the student/s to complete the copywork sheets. (Optional: Dictate verse, to older students as review, once scripture is memorised.) Review previous scriptures already learnt as students work through each new scripture memory card.
