Verse 3 says you must cry and lift up your voice (ask) in order to get it. Verse 4 says you must seek and search for it (study). Only the person who actively receives, retains, reflects, requests and researches God s word will have it in him. It s like the food groups grains, meat, fruits, vegetables, dairy products and sugars. It takes a combination of all of them to be healthy. The same thing applies to your spiritual health. 10 F riday: Jesus is light Just like there was a purpose for the light in Gen 1 there is a purpose for the light that Jesus gives. 13 S unday: Source On Tuesday you saw the two kinds of life that people can have: physical and spiritual. Physical life for man began with the creation of Adam and Eve in Genesis 1. Unfortunately, Adam sinned and brought death (physical and spiritual) on the entire race (as you saw in Rom 5:12-21). You also saw how Jesus counteracted the curse and made it possible for man to have not only physical life but also spiritual life. In 1Cor 15:45-50 Paul also contrasts Adam and Jesus but this time it shows the difference between physical and spiritual life.
