1 Art Katz -- The Love of the Truth - posted by eagleswings (), on: 2004/5/20 10:40 Here are a few segments from Art Katz' video: THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH The unifying theme is the misuse of God  That an intractible enemy bent upon Israel s destruction could ever be placated by a negotiated peace in the seducti ve hope of a middle-eastern Arab-Israeli prosperity is a lie. A lie that is employing  God as legitimizing the possessio n of the land without any real regard to Him in its conduct or purpose as a nation.  I donâ t want you to miss that. What is a lie? A lie is when you sanctify or seek to justify your possession of the land o n the basis of prophecies that speak about a return and a possession WITHOUT ANY TRUE REGARD TO THE GOD W HO HAS SPOKEN THOSE WORDS and are simply employing them as a justification for your possession.  Such fraudulence makes for deception, and deception makes for disaster as we shall soon enough, I believe, have oc casion to witness.  My question is: TO WHAT DEGREE ARE WE AS THE CHURCH EQUALLY, OR COMPARABLY, DECEIVED IN OU R OWN MISCONCEPTION AND MISUSE OF GOD? If Israel is misusing God to justify itâ s possession of the land, to w hat degree are we equally in a lie in the misuse of God in the vindication and justification of ourselves?  I donâ t think I have yet recovered from the Full Gospel breakfast in Germany and the Swedish speaker in his luxuriou s shirt  I m sure you would know the company that produces it. Its emblem was all over. A good weekâ s salary at le ast  and he got up by saying,  AND THE LORD SAID TO ME THIS MORNING    and I leaned forward to hear what the Lord said to him, and as quickly fell back in a slump in my seat for the Lord had said NOTHING. It was only, wh at shall I say, a manner of speaking, to give to oneâ s sharing a certain kind f weight it would not otherwise have had. H OW DARE WE SAY  The Lord has said to meâ  when He has not said. Merely to employ it is an artifice, as a kind of religious expediency that we hear so often and so frequently that we no longer take note.  How many things that pass for  propheciesâ are so bogus and so questionable or so clearly out of the flesh AND N O ONE SAYS A WORD as they are spoken publicly and we just nod and go on thinking that we have not paid for that. Y ou need to know that when you take liberties with the issue of Truth and allow things to go forth that are not questioned or brought to the light you do not go on as you were before. It brings an increasing deadening to oneâ s spirit so that you become less able to make discernments and corrections the next time, until finally youâ re totally incapable at all.  The love of the Truth requires a vigilance for the Truth. And that is daily. And in the last days, I would say hourly and moment by moment. That s expensive. But thereâ s no cheap way; because if we lose that sense, weâ ve lost everythi ng. We re hollow. We re gongs and cymbals and we have no effect on the society about us. What a melancholy, path etic end for the Church that has turned in on itself and whose last existence is mere succession of services. Who have n ot even impressed our own children with the seriousness of what we are about, let alone the world.â Art goes on to speak of  our haste in celebrating clairvoyant trivia as  the gift of prophecyâ  worse, as the prophetic office itself -- We canâ t even distinguish between the gift of prophecy and the office of prophet, and I canâ t think of mor e deadly confusion.â : He speaks of:  Our haste in construing flamboyance as  annointingâ  The gift of gab as  preachingâ Page 1/5

2  Religious manipulation as  the moving of the Spirit  Amplified noise as  worshipâ  Shallow, boisterous camaraderie as  fellowshipâ  All of which  makes me suspicious whether our foundation is really upon the costly cornerstone laid in Zion. In addition to other matters, he raises the issue of  prosperityâ and sees in it an inherent rejection of suffering and the Cross. How easily we are willing to be deceiv ed. The love of the truth will reveal God's desire for us. The truth will also reveal the deceptions of satan and his world. 'See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." The teaching is something that will truly ruin you fo r church as usual. I have heard people who can look through the fog of our current "Christian" experience and lay out w hat the truth of the matter is but Art has a way of completely and totally laying the whole thing bare. The Lord has gifted him to see through to the truth and the vocabulary to express that truth. Listening to and accepting how the message th e Lord has spoken through Art will cause you to see the bankrupt nature of our current North American Christian experie nce. Apostolic Foundations and True Fellowship are two of Art's books that I have read and they are both on my recommend ed list but remember, once you have seen the truth you may never be the same again and you may be ruined for regular church. It seems good to write some lines in the midst of thes e Art Katz speakings. The Love of the Truth is the great need of Jew and gentile alike in this day. Truth as been hidden f rom the hand of man for two great millenniums but is now arising. The Truth is the Word that branches from the hand of the saints in the coming ofthe Lord. John 17: Unless the UNSPEAKABLE gift of the Word is revealed, all are yet d eceived. No one can sanctify anything without the measures of God's oath in hand. The Word of the oath is th e truth and whatever we write upon in the Word becomes sanctified. Again I refer you to John 17:17-20! Without the san ctifying truth in hand the Jews can return to Israel but only to find the curse. Malachiah: there is a church that is called Mystery Babylon. She speaks but doesn't have the Word in hand. she is a gre at harlot that decieves the whole world by her preaching of "jesus". The fact of His Presence does not branch from her h and. The true church must separate from her by writing forth in the unspeakable gift. To take it up is a matter of the hand. The mouth that just speaks about it is deceived still. All have been deceived but now is the time to enter the apostles f ellowship by the laying on of hands by which the Word activates in your hand. The Word of the cross must be taken into hand daily.******* Art goes on to speak of  our haste in celebrating clairvoyant trivia as  the gift of prophecyâ  worse, as the prophetic office itself -- We canâ t even distinguish between the gift of prophecy and the office of prophet, and I canâ t think of mor e deadly confusion.â : He speaks of:  Our haste in construing flamboyance as  annointingâ Malachiah: the anointing is the Word we write. The mouth testifies of it but is not the anointing. the anointing is Christ the Word. If He is not being revealed in hand then there is no anointing.
