Marty is the owner and host of the painting gallery/mansion. Also he gave the painting to the detectibe so they can further investigate the paintings retrieved from Shems apartment and figure out whether the painting found in the apartment was an imitation of the painting stolen in the mansion He was owner of painting that was stolen. 12. Who is Evan Shem? (Pages 11-12) and why was a warrant for his arrest issued and executed? Evan shem is the person being charged with the crime. All the evidence was appointed to him Even Shem is a student at Hamiltonia Unviersity person being charged with the crime. Shem is the defendant and hesupposedly stole the painting from th mansion where he interned and docent. Is Evan Shem guilty or not guilty and why? i feel he is guilty. there are a lot of missing spots in the story he told, not to mention they found the painting in his possesion after expressin intrest in the painting. Shem is guilty because all the evidence is pointed towards him We think he is guilty since all evidence is pointed towards him. Not guilty because shem has hobby of recreated painting. 14. Illinois v Rodriguez because the police feel like they have enough evidence i dont understand the question so i shall skip it :) Illinois and florida can help the case since the police belived that Charlie had joint access or ownership of the apartment Case b because it show that many work was recreated 15.
