3 There Is No Secret Life Before The Lord James 1:12 Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor's] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted from God; for God is incapable of being tempted by [what is] evil and He Himself tempts no one.

4 Father God, I, here and now take responsibility for my actions. I renounce and repent for without excuse. I ask you to forgive me for these sins. I release my hold on these behaviors and ask you to break any curse associated with them in my life and toward my life back through 10 generations in my family line. I thankfully receive your forgiveness and restoration in Jesus name. Amen 14 But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions). 15 Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death. 16 Do not be misled, my beloved brethren. 5 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: Ps 111:10 KJV Repent: I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:3 KJV NT:3340, denoting change of place or condition, theologically, it involves regret or sorrow, accompanied by a true change of heart toward God. Revised Edition, 1993) Forsake: They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. Prov 28:4 KJV OT:5800 A verb derived from two separate roots. The more common in the Hebrew Bible is the meaning to leave, to abandon, to forsake, to loose. It can be used to designate going away to a new locale or to separate oneself from another person. Luke 12:1-5 1 In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. 3 "Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. 4 "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 "But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! 7 The Last Trump Atonement or Alonement 2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (KJV) Hebrew tradition teaches us that there are books of records kept and they are opened on Atonement. 1. One for the righteous. 2. One for the wicked. 3. One for the lukewarm (in-between).

8 Books Mentioned In The Bible 1. The Book of The Living. Also referred to as Book of Destiny. Ps 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. Psa. 139:16 2. The Book Tears. Ps 56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? 3. The Lamb s Book of Life. Rev 20:12 and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Rev. 3:5 4. The Book of Remembrance. Mal 3:16 and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

9 Keep Your Heart With All Diligence, For Out Of It Spring The Issues Of Life Prov 4:23-27 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. 26 Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; remove your foot from evil. 10 Keep Your Heart With All Diligence meticulousness, thoroughness, attentiveness, carefulness Heb 12:15-17 Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God's grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it. 16 That no one may become guilty of sexual vice, or become a profane (godless and sacrilegious) person as Esau did, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. [Gen 25:29-34.] 17 For you understand that later on, when he wanted [to regain title to] his inheritance of the blessing, he was rejected (disqualified and set aside), for he could find no opportunity to repair by repentance [what he had done, no chance to recall the choice he had made], although he sought for it carefully with [bitter] tears. 11 A Secret Lived, Part Of You But Not With You A woman Pastor committed adultery. She divorced, her ministry fell apart and the church closed up. She continued to see the man covertly while re-establishing herself with another fellowship in order to be restored to ministry. After a period of time she tried to introduce the person she committed adultery with to her new fellowship and leaders as if this was a new friend. The current leaders did not know who the man was that she was introducing. This adultery caused serious pain in families and two churches and now was trying to infect a third ministry. She was met with and told if she did not break this relationship off immediately she would be brought before the churches leaders and a rebuke would be given. If this was not received, she would be put outside the fellowship per the following scriptural precedent. 1 Cor 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. KJV

And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. 2 The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds: 2 3 But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.

21 My Son, Give Attention To My Words; Incline Your Ear To My Sayings. Prov.4:20 Prov 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter. (NKJ) Rev 1:6 And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (NKJ)

22 The Spirit Of Demas, Love For The Present Delicacies Of The World 2 Tim 4:10 for Demas has forsaken me, Having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica. What is it, except a demonic influence that can cause a man or woman to leave a beautiful position in life and cash in his or her birth right, family relationships and eternal destiny for a morsel of bread (pleasure)?

23 The Spirit Of Demas 2 Tim 4:9-15 Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world. He quit Paul and his interest, either for fear of suffering (because Paul was now a prisoner, and he was afraid of coming into trouble upon Paul's account) or he was called off from his ministry by secular affairs, in which he was entangled, his first love to Christ and his gospel was forsaken and forgotten, and he fell in love with the world. Note, Love to this present world is often the cause of apostasy from the truths and ways of Jesus Christ. 24 First Demas Left Good Fellowship He forsook Paul and decided to go with a stranger and go it on his own. This is the first sign of spiritual trouble. Heb 10:25-26 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, (NKJ)

25 Second, Demas Fell In Love With The World He cast off leadership from Paul and fellowship with his closest spiritual friends. When you grow cold it s just a matter of time before you are out in the world again. The attractions of the world are really just distractions to the Christian. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Prov 4:23-27

26 Third, Demas Departed If you do the above two it is only a matter of time before you do number three, Demas departs fellowship. Don t let this Demas spirit get on you and don t fellowship with people who have it. 2 Cor 6:14-18 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 17 Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. 18 "I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. (NKj)

27 The Spirit of Demas Summary This spirit will cause you to look at the world and its things all the time while you are walking with Christ. The love for worldly things will draw you away from ministry, gifting, the church and the fellowship of the saints. You will forsake Godly leadership input, for what you want to hear and connect to what itches your ears. You will depart from the ministry you are involved in. The seductive power of this spirit will actually lead you into the world that you once denounced.

28 The Iscariot Spirit, The Spirit Of Secret Living And Confused Repentance Matt 26:14-16 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, "What are you willing to give me (a business deal) if I deliver Him to you?" And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him. (NKJ) Judas was one of the twelve but never really seemed to be of the same spirit and heart of the others.

29 His Spiritual Attitude Was Superficial He repents but to the wrong people. Matt 27:3-5 Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is that to us? You see to it! Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself. 30 Judas Had A Secret Life and Associations He sneaked around Jesus and broke covenant behind His friends backs and in private. What does your private life look like? Do you think there is a connection between your private life and spirituality? Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. 34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

31 The Iscariot Spirit Summary This spirit will slowly cause you to have a dual personality, a shell of spirituality that is fueled by the spirit of the world. It will make you a pretender. This spirit will cause you to be secretive and sneaky. You will eventually trade your birth right, that is your walk with Christ for your secret life. You will repent, but to the people you sinned with instead of the ones you sinned against.

32 The New Testament Example Acts 5:1-16 But a certain man named Ananias (grace and beauty), with Sapphira (sapphire) his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 "While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God. 5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. 6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. 7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.

33 Yet None Of The Rest Dared Join Them Acts 5:1-16 NJK And Peter answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?" She said, "Yes, for so much. 9 Then Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out. 10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. 11 So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things. 12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch. 13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. 14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

36 Are You Chaffing At The Bridle Bite Of Obedience To The Commandments? Message Bible 1 John 5:3 Every person who believes that Jesus is, in fact, the Messiah, is God-begotten. If we love the One who conceives the child, we ll surely love the child who was conceived. The reality test on whether or not we love God s children is this: Do we love God? Do we keep his commands? The proof that we love God comes when we keep his commandments and they are not at all troublesome.

37 The Love Of God Is This: That We Do His Commandments 1 John 5:3-5 For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous). 4 For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?
