The letters are relative to one another in association to the practical living of the follower of Jesus Christ. This letter to the Ephesians is a principle lesson to the unity of the body of Christ. Paul unveils how God is going to deal with the attributes of salvation from sin, (resolve or fix and how it was going to happen). There are 2 applications of mystery: that Paul reveals: 1. Paul wanted the church to have comprehension of the width, height and depth of the love of God and what he has done. This allows the believers to have the fullness of God. 2. The calling of the Lord : whatever we have pertaining to the ability or capacity. a. Ecc 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. b. 2Th 3:10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. c. 1Ti 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. Everybody has some idea about their calling. It is for a person to seek what is lacking in the fellowship, and find their niche. If you are not saved you are not included to partake in this gift Ephesians 4:8 Therefore He says: "WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE, AND GAVE GIFTS TO MEN." 1.
