10 INTRODUCTION Congratulations! Even if you are an advanced Bible scholar, you will find the material in this book spiritually and mentally stimulating, to say the least! The world IS PRIMED AND READY to receive Satan s Superman as the Antichrist makes his grand entrance from the pages of the Bible to the arms of this waiting world! As you have already seen, the world will gladly accept his lawlessness and his immoral ways, just as long as he produces the Utopia that man has always dreamed of! The aim of this book is to let the reader see him BEFORE he actually bursts on the scene so you will have NO TROUBLE identifying him when he makes his play to take over the world! Oh, I know you have been told that the Church will be raptured BEFORE his appearance, but this to is just man s imagination. The Church WILL GO THROUGH TRIBULATION AND GREAT TRIBULATION but will be snatched away before God unleashes His wrath on planet earth! As Christ IS NOT just a figure of man s imagination, NEITHER IS SATAN S SUPERMAN! He will be such a charismatic personality and his programs will seemingly solve the world s problems. It could be possible that he is already on the scene and just ready to make his grand entrance. 12 THE ANTICHRIST! Pastor, I had the privilege of reviewing the chapter in your new book entitled The Unholy Trinity, and I was wondering if you could elaborate more on the ANTI- CHRIST, especially in comparison to the REAL Christ? Yes I can, and let me do it this way: Jesus said to the Jews; John 5: 43 I am come in my Father s name, and ye receive me not; if ANOTHER shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. Who is this OTHER who is to come? In both the Old and New Testament we are told of a Mysterious and Terrible Personage who shall be revealed in the Last Times. He is described under different names and aliases, but when you diligently compare Scripture with Scripture, they all point you to the Antichrist. In the Old Testament he is called the: ASSYRIAN Isaiah 10:5, 12, 24 0 ASSYRIAN, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation (God s wrath against the world is actually carried out by the Anti-Christ without his even knowing it! Satan plays into the hand of God and is used by God!). (12) Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed His whole work (of 13

13 chastisement) upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the KING OF ASSYRIA, and the glory of his high looks. (24) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the ASSYRIAN: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt (Literally, as the King of Egypt did). LITTLE HORN Daniel 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another LITTLE HORN, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things (The Antichrist can indwell people and does; Example, Judas in the New Testament; Antiochus Epiphanies in History). Daniel 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a LITTLE HORN, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. KING OF FIERCE COUNTENANCE Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a KING OF FIERCE COUNTENANCE, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up (See 2 nd Thessalonians 2:3-10; Revelation 13:4-10). 14

14 THE PRINCE THAT SHALL COME Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of THE PRINCE THAT SHALL COME shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolation s are determined (See Matthew 24:6-14). THE BLASPHEMING KING. Daniel 11:36 And THE KING shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things AGAINST the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished: for that that is determined (By God) shall be done. In the New Testament he is called the: MAN OF SIN; SON OF PERDITION 2 nd Thessalonians 2:3-6 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (The Second Coming) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that MAN OF SIN be revealed, the SON OF PERDITION; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God (The Antichrist will be a religious leader), shewing himself that he is God. (5) Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 15

15 (6) And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time (This proves that Daniel 11:36 above refers to the Antichrist). MYSTERY OF INIQUITY 2 nd Thessalonians 2:7 For the MYSTERY OF INIQUITY doth already work (The spirit of rebellion against God and His authority): only he who now letteth will let, until he is taken out of the way (Again, God controls the times and seasons and when He is ready, and only then, can the Antichrist make his move). THAT WICKED 2 nd Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall THAT WICKED be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming (Jesus returns after tribulation, not before): ANTICHRIST 1 st John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that ANTICHRIST shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time (The Last Days started with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, per the prophecy of Joel and the testimony of Peter). THE BEAST; THE DRAGON Revelation 13:1-8 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw A BEAST rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his 16

16 horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (2) And THE BEAST which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and THE DRAGON gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. (3) And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after THE BEAST. (4) And they worshipped THE DRAGON, which gave power unto THE BEAST: and they worshipped THE BEAST, saying, Who is like unto THE BEAST? Who is able to make war with him? (5) And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (6) And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (7) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (8) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. It can readily be seen from the above Scriptures that during the end time, a religious ruler will emerge with ONE THING on his mind, World domination! This has been tried by scores of men since creation, but NEVER has anyone come as close as this seemingly SUPERMAN. 17

17 His father will give him special powers and the world will flock to his door! It is taught in some religious circles that he ACTUALLY RULES THE WORLD, and he will have a Kingdom, but to rule the World is reserved for the SON OF GOD, not the SON OF SATAN. Let s carefully compare them. The difference between Christ and Antichrist is clearly seen in the following contrasts. Observe them closely and be ready: (See chart on following page) 18

19 As you can see, Christ and the Antichrist ARE COMPLETE OPPOSITES! As Christ was born OF A VIRGIN, the Antichrist will, in all probability, be born of a WHORE. Since the father of Jesus WAS GOD, then the father of the Antichrist WILL BE SATAN! John 8:44 says, Ye are of your father, the Devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murder from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there was no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it. While Jesus WAS NOT directly speaking to the Antichrist, He WAS speaking to a people WHO HAD THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST, perfectly describing the ONE WHO WOULD COME! Genesis 3:15 adds, And I will put enmity between thee (Satan) and the woman, and between thy seed (Antichrist) and her seed (Jesus); it (The seed of the woman) shall bruise thy (Satan s) head, and thou (Satan) shalt bruise his (Jesus ) heel. These Scriptures prove BEYOND DOUBT that Satan will father a bastard child, from someone who is just the opposite of Mary, the mother of Jesus and the seed of Eve. Only an out and out fool could fail to realize the world is being prepared to accept such a union. Pick up a local newspaper and you will see several births listed and ONLY THE MOTHER S NAME WILL BE GIVEN! 20

20 Hollywood has been doing this for years and now it is being accepted as THE NORMAL THING in Anytown USA! People DO NOT bother to marry anymore, they just live together, completely ignoring God, and this lifestyle IS ACCEPTED by society as normal! My friend, sin IS NOT normal! It is an abomination unto God and the sinner WILL PAY for his or her sin! But let s examine more Scripture: THE FORTH WILD BEAST OF DANIEL Daniel 7:7-8; 19-20; After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. (8) I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. (19) Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; (20) And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a 21

21 mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. (23) Thus he said, the fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. (24) And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. (25) And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. THE LITTLE HORN OF THE MALE-GOAT Daniel 8:8-12; adds, And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. (8) Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. (9) And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. (10) And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 22

22 (11) Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. (12) And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered. (23) And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. (24) And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. (25) And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. THE WILLFUL KING Daniel 11:36-39 continues, And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. (37) Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. (38) But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. 23

23 (39) Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. PAUL S TESTIMONY 2 nd Thessalonians 2:3-12 says, Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (5) Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? (Paul reminded them that the Antichrist would arise out of the church, a charismatic leader that can sway the masses). (6) And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. (7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let, until He is taken out of the way. (8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: (9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 24

24 (12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. JOHN S TESTIMONY Revelation 13:1-7 says, And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (2) And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. (3) And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death (The Antichrist will be killed or is someone who has already been killed and is resurrected, perhaps Judas Iscariot. I lean towards the latter although many preachers who are my seniors believed the Antichrist to be the Pope and his kingdom to be the Roman church); and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. (4) And they worshipped the dragon that gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? (5) And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (6) And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (7) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was 25

25 given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. These Scriptures BEYOND DOUBT refers to the same events, the rise of Satan s SUPERMAN, the Antichrist, the SON OF PERDITION! There has never as yet graced the scene such a person, but HE IS COMING! No writer, not even Hollywood, could invent such a person in his wildest dreams, nor would he want to, and this is as Satan would have it. Once his rise to power over the worshiping hoards, it will take the Lord of Lord s do de-throne him, and this IS exactly what the seed of the woman shall do! He will then be cast alive into the lake of Fire and Brimstone, ending forever the Mystery of Iniquity, THE Antichrist! MOST PROPHETIC TEACHINGS OF TODAY START OFF WRONG --- AND THEN BUILDS FROM THERE! The problem with the vast majority of "end time" teaching concerning Tribulation and the Antichrist starts with an improper translation of Daniel 9:27 and the 70 th week. If this is properly interpreted to refer to Christ and not the Antichrist (as the early church believed and taught), then the Pre and Mid Tribulation disappears completely! The 70th week has been completely fulfilled in Christ. He (Jesus) was cut off in the middle of the week (3 ½ years) and 3 ½ years later, the Gospel was preached to the Gentiles, ending the 70 th week and the 490 years God promised to the Jews. 26

26 A seven (7) year period of future tribulation becomes nonexistent and all Scriptures then completely agree! The people of the world simply grow more wicked on a daily basis and intensifies as the last days draw on. The teaching today concerning a gap between the 69th and the 70th week is simply man's way of thinking. To be the 70 th week, it must follow the 69 th! Move it anywhere else and it ceases to be the 70 th week! Two thousand years later would put us in the 286 th week and counting! No thank you. I will stay with the Word. The Scriptures are very plain concerning this point: Daniel 9:24 (KJV) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. (25) Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. (26) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. (27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, 27

27 and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Here we have a prophecy of seventy weeks, subdivided into three periods; 1. seven weeks (verse 25) 2. sixty two weeks (verse 25) and 3. one week (verse 27) When we do the math we have 7 plus 62 plus 1 giving us the 70 weeks. It came about while the Jews were in Babylon, exiled because of their sin. This prophecy came from the Angel Gabriel as Daniel was in prayer, confessing not only his sins but the sins of God s people. A day in prophecy represents a year (See Numbers 13:34 and Ezekiel 4:6). The Seventy (70) weeks are a period of four hundred ninety (490) years that starts with the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (verse 25) and reaches forward in time to the first coming of Christ. After 69 weeks (483 years), Messiah shall be cut off (Verse 26). All Christian scholars are in agreement that this refers to the crucifixion of Christ. This leaves one week or seven years and is referred to as the 70 th week of Daniel. Jesus is nailed to the cross in the middle of the 70 th week! Needless to say, this is perhaps the most controversial verse in the Holy Writ. It is used to teach a 7 year 28

28 tribulation period, the rebuilding of the Temple and is attributed to the Antichrist! This is all man s thinking because the verse says absolutely nothing about 7 years of tribulation, the Temple or the Antichrist! Note again what it DOES say: Daniel 9:27 And he (Christ) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (seven years): and in the midst of the week (3½ years) he (Christ) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (The Jewish laws of sacrifice were stopped by the Christ because they were fulfilled in Him), and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. That man has wrestled these Scriptures down through the years, trying to make them fit into their already preconceived doctrine, is well known by the number of books on the market, each using the same verses, but with completely different views! So, let s just let them say what they say and move on! 1. God starts counting from the command to rebuild and restore Jerusalem. (Verse 25) 2. God plainly says the end of the 69 weeks starts the ministry of the Messiah. (Verse 25) 3. This is the length of the sixty nine (69) weeks, leaving one (1) week yet to be fulfilled; which is the earthly ministry of Jesus. (Verse 25) 29

29 4. In the middle of the 70 th week, the Prince is to be cut off, or Crucified, NOT FOR HIMSELF, but for the elect, the church. (Verse 26-27) The ministry of Christ fulfills the 70 th week! There is no future 7 years of tribulation but rather the world simply grows more wicked on a daily basis and intensifies as the last days draw on. I m sorry but I just don t want anything attributed to the Antichrist that actually refers to Christ. Again, Daniel 9:27 refers to Christ and not the Antichrist. LET S OBSERVE DANIEL 9:27B AGAIN SO THERE CAN BE NO MISUNDERSTANDING First of all, the entire text of Daniel 9:24-27 is often translated by modern Bible versions to fit the bias of the translators and to support false Futurist positions. To avoid these errors and bias, we will stick to the King James Version. Here s the entire text again: Daniel 9: Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. (25) Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 30

The he in Daniel 9:27a refers to none other than Jesus Christ, the Messiah, referred to in verses 25 and 26. Our Messiah confirmed the covenant, which means the new covenant, and after 3 ½ years of holy ministry He Himself caused the sacrifice... to cease by His death on the cross. This position not only fits the context of Daniel 9:24-27, the facts of history, and New Testament evidence (see Romans 15:8 and Matthew 26:28), but is the position of the majority of well-respected older Bible commentaries that have not been affected by modern Futurism. See the commentaries of: Matthew Henry, Jamieson, Fausett and Brown, Adam Clarke, etc. 31

31 Grammatically, it makes sense that all references to he in Daniel 9:27 refer to the same person throughout the text, that is, to Jesus Christ Himself. Simply read the entire verse in the KJV. The it that is made desolate refers to the Jewish sanctuary. Speaking to the leaders of Israel, Jesus mournfully declared, Behold, your house is left unto you desolate (Matthew 23:38). But how could Jesus Christ make the Jewish sanctuary desolate? The answer is simple: By His death on the cross. When Jesus finally cried out, It is finished (John 19:30), the entire Jewish temple service, including its sacrifices, ceased to be of value in the sight of God. It was desolate, as Jesus has established a New Covenant! The entire drama surrounding the fate of the Temple included the Jews, the Messiah, and finally, Roman armies led by Titus that finished the job in 70 A.D. To make it simple, here is the entire text below with explanations in brackets: (27) And he [Christ] shall confirm the [new covenant] with many for one week [the last 7- year period of Daniel 9:24]: and in the midst of the week [after 3 ½ years of holy ministry] he [Christ] shall cause [by His death on the cross] the sacrifice [of the Jewish Temple] and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations [of the Jewish leaders who instigated Christ s death] he [Christ] shall make it [the Temple] desolate [Christ s death ultimately finished the Temple service], even 32

32 until the consummation [which occurred 40 years later when the Roman armies led by Titus finally burned the Temple to the ground and killed approximately one million Jews], and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate [the Jewish nation and its Temple in 70 A.D.] Christ s death not only atoned for our sins, but it also meant the end of the Jewish temple service. There would be no more sacrifices as Jesus was the fulfillment of all Jewish laws! Thus the latter part of Daniel 9:27 deals with mighty causeand-effect events. The Jewish leaders committed abominations by instigating the death of God s own Son, yet their evil deeds backfired with terrible consequences. In conclusion, may God help us to learn these lessons from the Temple: Jesus Christ s death means everlasting salvation to those who yield to His love, repent of their sins, and have faith in His sacrifice, but to those who chose abominations, remain in sin, and reject His grace, eternal desolation is the inevitable, terrible consequence. Let s respond to His grace, before it s too late. NOW, LET S RETURN TO THE ANTICHRIST WHO IS TO COME! The Antichrist, be he an individual now living or dead (or as some believe, a religious system consisting of a continuation of religious leaders who are Antichrist in their thinking) WILL BE DESTROYED as he (or they) play into 33
