Gleason, Commissioner Otterbein first-year Head Coach Tim Doup has been selected as the 2012 OAC Football Coach-of-the-Year. Doup led the Cardinals to a third place finish in the OAC with a 7-2 (8-2 overall) record. Heidelberg s Scott Donaldson has been chosen as the 2012 OAC Assistant Coach-of-the-Year. Donaldson has been on the Berg s sideline as defensive coordinator for ten years. Heidelberg finished the regular-season ranked second in the Conference in scoring defense (13.4 ppg) and fourth in rushing defense (122.5 ypg) and total defense (321.5 ypg). Mount Union sophomore quarterback Kevin Burke (Westlake/St. Edward) was chosen as the 2012 Bob Packard Most Outstanding Offensive Back. Burke finished the regular-season ranked second in the Conference in passing yards with 225 per game and total offense yards-per-game. Burke went 144-of-209 with 24 touchdowns to rank second in the OAC in touchdowns and pass efficiency (193.4). For his efforts this season, Burke has been named First Team All-OAC. The Packard Award is presented by Baldwin-Wallace College in honor of Bob Packard, who served as head coach of the Yellow Jackets from He led B-W to six OAC championships and a overall record. Mount Union senior Antonio Tate (Cleveland/Villa Anglea-St.Joseph) has been named the 2012 Ken Wable Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman for the second consecutive year. At the close of the regular-season, Tate led the Purple Raider s offensive line to the top of the OAC in total offense with yards-per-game and scoring offense with 51.7 points-per-game. He has earned First Team All-OAC honors for the second time. The Wable Award is presented by Mount Union College in honor of Ken Wable, who spent 24 years ( ) leading the football program. During his time at Mount Union he led the Purple Raiders to 123 victories and an OAC Championship.

Robilotto finished the season leading the OAC in receiving yards-per-game with and second in receptions-per-game with He also recorded eight touchdowns this season and has been named First Team All-OAC. The Sherman Award is presented by Muskingum College in honor of the winningest coach in school history. Sherman guided the Muskies to a record from Otterbein junior Pat Seesholtz (Bremen/Fairfield Union) has been voted by the 2012 Paul Hoernemann Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman. Seesholtz finished the regular-season ranked among the top of the Conference in sacks with 11 and tackles-for-loss with 17 for 89 yards. He has earned First Team All-OAC recognition. Heidelberg College presents the Hoernemann Award in memory of its most successful football coach, Paul Hoernemann, who directed the Student Princes to a record from Hoernemann was inducted in 1997 to the College Football Hall of Fame. Mount Union senior Charles Dieusel (Winter Haven, Fla./Lake Region) has been named the 2012 Gene Slaughter Most Outstanding Linebacker. Dieusel closed the regular-season with 5.6 tackles-per-game and recorded 2.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss. Dieuseul was named the 2011 OAC Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman and has earned First Team All-OAC for the second time. The Slaughter Award is presented by Capital University in honor of Gene Slaughter. Slaughter spent 25 years ( ) at the helm of the Capital football program and guided it to a record and a Stagg Bowl victory in He also served as Capital athletic director from Mount Union senior Nick Driskill (Wabash, Ind./Southwood) has been named the 2012 Lee J. Tressel Most Outstanding Defensive Back for the second consecutive time. During the regular-season, Driskill amassed 56 tackles (39 solo) and recorded four sacks. He ranks fourth in the OAC in tackles-for-loss with 13 for 55 yards. Driskill has earned First Team All-OAC honors for the second time. Baldwin-Wallace presents the Tressel Award in memory of coach Lee J. Tressel, who guided the Yellow Jackets to four OAC championships, one national title and a record from Tressel was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996.
