1 Early Prayer January 18, 2011 Do Not Fear John sings: Wade in the water children. The Lord s going to trouble the waters. Good morning and welcome to Glory of Zion. We have come to awaken the dawn and stir up the waters. When you see those waters moving it s time to wake up, children, and get in the waters. It s time to keep your eyes open because He is going to stir in a place. If your eyes are not open you may miss where He is stirring. We re going to look and then to look again. He might be stirring someplace you would not expect Him to stir. He ended up in Bethlehem and they weren t expecting that. They missed their hour of visitation. We do not want to miss our moment of visitation as we move through this week. Sings: Wade in the water children. The Lord s going to trouble the waters. Robert: Good morning. We want to welcome all of you here and all of you on the web cast to Tuesday morning prayer at Glory of Zion. It seems earlier since we have not done it in a while. It is good to be here. We are going to wade in the water, flow in the spirit, hear what God is saying and get direction to move forward in power throughout the week. We are glad to have you with us on the web whatever time it is where you are. Let s join in and worship the Lord. John sings: Who are those children dressed in red? Wade in the water. Must be those children Moses led. God s going to trouble the waters. Wade in the water children. The Lord s going to trouble the waters. I ve been afraid to put my foot in. Wade in the water. But now I don t care if I sink or swim. I m going to wade in the water. Wade in the water children. The Lord s going to trouble the waters. Just get me to that water s edge. Wade in the water. I ll go on out till it s over my head. The Lord s going to trouble the waters. Wade in the water children. The Lord s going to trouble the waters. Janice: As John was singing I was thinking about what the Lord said when I first woke up this morning. My thoughts were about how early it was. The alarm goes off at 4 and you are not sure where you are much less where you are going but as those thoughts were going through my mind the Lord said, Ask Me for a spirit of expectation. When Robert was welcoming us I knew that we were here with a spirit of expectation. As John was singing about Bethlehem and how it was a surprise location, the Lord said, Mary came expecting. Lord, we are in a spirit of expectation to meet You, to hear You, to move with You. You have stirred our expectation so that we can hear, see and move with You in expectation of what You will do in us and through us. John: A lot of times when I pray I don t even know what to pray for. I say, Lord, just surprise me. I have done that for years and years and He has surprised me so many times. I learned that from David. David was in the most horrid of prayer situations. God has said that his child by Bathsheba was going to die. This was a prophetic word straight from God into is heart. He knew that God had said the child would die, but yet he prayed anyway. He said, Who knows? God might surprise me. When God did not surprise him, he got up and moved on, but he had an attitude that even in a situation like that, God might change His mind. God might surprise me. If he could have an attitude like that in that rough of a situation, I can come in my daily situations and say, Who knows? God might surprise me. Sings: Lord, break in on our consciousness. Surprise us Lord. Surprise us. Lord, break into our lives and surprise us. Ted: The word says that we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses. Last night I could not sleep so I got up and read about Isaiah. Isaiah and many of the prophets expected a Messiah. We have the manifestation of the Lord coming to earth to meet our needs and fulfill our desires and expectations. We declare that the expectations that the Lord has put on our heart will be fulfilled. Linda: Last week we started the assault on Mammon with the 5 Chinese gods that the Lord delivered into our house. I have been very happy with the responses that we have received. So many have written win with revelation and testimonies and questions and scriptural connections that I had never seen before. One of the things that many have written in about is from Joshua 10 about the 5 kings and the land that Joshua had to overcome, what their names mean and what happened in that place. We have noticed that the number 5 keeps coming up. We had 5 gods of Mammon. There were 5 kings that Joshua had to overthrow. God has given us 5 apostolic gifts. With those 5 gifts, He has given us the edge up on any of the other 5 s. It surprises people. It surprises us that these are what God has given us to overcome our enemy. God gave us an apostle. Great! It is not what we would have expected but it is what God has given us. When we learn to use what God has given us, we can gain the strategy to overcome what the devil has put in the world. On Sunday morning someone brought in a prophetic article from the newspaper. Actually it is a comic strip. It really spoke. I ll let Robert tell about it. Robert: Loretta brought in a classic Peanuts comic strip. I read it and thought, Whoa! This is so prophetic! We had the 5 Chinese gods of Mammon and if you ve watched the headlines this week, the Chinese have come in saying, We re going to get rid of the dollar and put our currency in as the international currency. We are going to take over. So the

2 comic strip starts out with Linus contentedly watching his show on television. Lucy walks into the room. She says, Switch channels. I want to watch my program. Linus says, Are you kidding? What makes you think you can walk right in here and take over? Lucy holds up her fist and says, These five fingers individually are nothing but when I curl them together like this into a single unit, they form a weapon that is terrible to behold. Linus frowns and says, Which channel do you want? He sighs, looks at his five fingers and says, Why can t you guys get organized like that? Last week we saw that depiction of the forces of the enemy all lined up next to each other. They knew their alignment. They knew their position. Because of that they think they have power to take over and put on their channel. We also saw that when those come into an apostolic house, they can be demolished. The problem with the church is that so much of the church is still holding on to that old pastoral mentality and has not learned to come together and function. As 5-fold ministry begins to come into alignment in a church, a region, or a territory, it becomes a force to be reckoned with. The power of the enemy cannot overcome it. Janice: It took us making a fist to destroy those gods. Remember how you had to wrap your hand around those keys. We are going to corporately make a fist and grab those keys and say, It s time to change the channel. Mark: When I woke up this morning I heard the Spirit of God saying that He is removing the spirit of fear. The 5-fold ministry is here to bring us into perfection; to bring us into a place out of fear and into faith. The Spirit of God would say, My children, you have been bound by the spirit of fear. The enemy has used fear to keep you from stepping out into the supernatural, from prophesying, from laying your hands on the sick and seeing them recover, from moving forward into the evangelistic. The spirit of Mammon focuses on what is seen and your ability, but today I am taking you to a place where you focus on My ability and focus on the unseen. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Move forward in faith, in power, in authority and know that I am going to back up My word. Have I not said it? Will I not perform it? Step forward in faith. In the days to come you will have to flow with My power. You will have to flow with faith. Fear is false evidence appearing real. Faith is forsaking all, I trust Him. John: Hallelujah! James sings: Do not be afraid! Be bold! Be strong! Do not be afraid! I have to say that I agree with Mark. The Lord woke me up with the exact same thing this morning; the exact same thing. He actually spoke the word Useogope which is Swahili for Don t be afraid. I told Robyn (my wife), I m hearing this. I don t know if it is what the Lord is saying, but I woke up with useopgope. We are declaring and believing Your word. We will not be afraid. We will move forward in faith. We forsake fear and we receive the hope You have given us through Your word. Sings: We will not be afraid, no! Do not, do not be afraid. Do not fear. Be bold, be strong for the Lord Your God is with you. Linda: One of the things someone pointed out this week when they wrote in about the 5 kings was that when they went up against those 5 kings, hailstones came. They pointed out that the scripture from Job 38 talked about the treasury of hail reserved for the day of battle. Who would have expected hailstones to fight for you in your time of battle? The scripture says that more were killed by the hail stones than the Israelites killed. When we look at what we see, we would have reason to fear. We might say, I don t have the strength. But we are looking at what we don t see. There are more with us than with them. When we get organized, as Robert said, when we get our gifts organized and we get our stuff moving in the right way, a force greater than us begins to act on the situation. That s what gives us victory and hope. Lord, we acknowledge that there are certain things You have asked us to do. You have asked us to get into position and obey You and to move in faith, but our expectations is that beyond that, You will act on our behalf. You will act through forces of nature and through Your power, Your voice comes in. You are going to act in such a way that causes us to triumph over our enemies in any situation. We take our eyes off of what we see and what we have done. We have obeyed, we have followed in faith and now our expectation is that You are going to do something in this situation that is going to turn it for good. That is our testimony and that is our declaration over every god and every force. That is our declaration over Mammon. God has sent His word and as we follow what He has said, He is going to act in ways we could never imagine and will do things we could never accomplish. He is going to cause us to triumph over you. Lisa: I want to share a dream I had. In part of it I was standing by a lake and five young horses walked up out of the water in a row. They hesitated momentarily at the water s edge, but then they moved out onto the land. They moved as a unit, as one. As they moved out, another row of five young horses came up out of the water and this kept happening. Sometimes when you dream, you know it is a dream. Other times you feel like you are really seeing it. I felt like I was really seeing it, that it was not staged and there was no way anyone could fake it. I was really watching it. The horses were about 6-8 months old, which is about the time you wean a colt. To me that speaks of the next generation. They are in a place now where they have come through their mothering stage and are ready to be released. Father, I thank You

3 for the fist that the next generation is forming; for the preparation that s been made for them to move forward. They are moving forward in order and without fear into this season and the confrontation with Mammon. Janice: James, can you sing that for us in Swahili? Keys and drums change the tempo. James: The word is Msiogope. (moo-see-o-ga-pe) Sings: Msiogope hey! Be bold; be strong for the Lord is with you. Msiogope hey! We will move in the strength of our Lord. We will march ahead. We will face bravely. Msiogope, hey! For the Lord He is there. Jehovah Shalom, He will not forsake you. Msiogope, hey! Instruments play. James and Josh dance. John sings: I hear the Lion of Judah roaring. Through the tumult and through the storm, I hear Him roaring. I hear the Lion of Judah roaring. Above the noise of the world, I hear Him. Above the fear of man, above the tumult, I hear the Lion of Judah roaring. Don t be afraid. The Lion of Judah is in His place. Don t be afraid. The Lion of Judah is on His throne. Robert: I keep thinking about that dream of the horses. When I heard that, I remembered that several Sundays ago Chuck called everybody under 30 up to the front. It surprised me because it was an exhortation but it was almost harsh. It was a challenge for the next generation to rise up. For 30 years the church has been talking about 5-fold ministry. The church loves to talk about it but hardly anybody wants to do it. We are willing to pray and fast but we are not willing to change. We have seen God raise up 5-fold ministry in this house. We know who our apostle, our prophet, our teacher and our pastors are. We are seeing evangelists raised up. It has given a new dynamic and new power. It s wonderful. It s easy to sit back and think, Now we have 5-fold ministry. God says, Wait a minute. Where will that be 30 years from now? The Lion of Judah is roaring over the next generation and saying, Where is the next generation of apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors and evangelists? Where are the men and women God wants to raise up in that new generation? We declare in this room and out across the web cast, into the heavenlies, into the territories and we speak to that next generation waiting and thinking, This is wonderful to be under 5-fold ministry. God is roaring and saying, You are the next generation of 5-fold ministry. It is time for you to begin to rise up! God says, Come up out of the water! Come up! Do not fear! Do not think someone else will be the one! Some of you here know that you have gifting within you. Do not let them lie dormant. Raise them up and get into position. Get aligned! Get trained! The next generation must arise! Josh sings: I will move forward. I won t be afraid anymore. I will rise! I will have faith! I will rise and not be afraid! I hear the call and I m going to move it. I won t be afraid. The presence of God is coming down on me. I won t be afraid of the night. I m going to march in. I m going to march forward. Instruments play. Josh dances. Chris: That is the moment we are stepping into. If you read Chuck s books, the common thread he talks about is that God is raising up a triumphant reserve. Part of that triumphant reserve is the next generation. They are not afraid to step into the new. They may look and act different but they have a source of power we need to tap into. That is the power to move, to step in and not be afraid, and to go into the next generation and the next territory. Lord, we declare that the power of the youth is now going to step into a movement that the world has never seen before. Thank You for the explosion that is going to take place in our youth as we step into the next season. James sings: Msiogope, hey! Do not be afraid! James and Josh dance together. Janice: Get in step with them! We are moving as one! Linda: When Joshua stood before Jericho and he encountered Lord Sabaoth he said, What would You say to me? He told him to take off his shoes. That was where Moses started. When the burning bush said to him, Take off your shoes, God commissioned him to go back and get the people out of Egypt. That was finished. They were out of Egypt. Joshua was not being sent back to Egypt to redo what Moses had done. Joshua was being commissioned for his assignment, which was to take the land. We say to the next generation, Get ready for your encounter with Lord Sabaoth. Moses had an encounter with the burning bush that set the course for his life and determined the call that he was to accomplish. We do not expect the next generation to redo what we have done. It s already been done. There is new territory. There are now moves for you to make and I am happy that the young ones are going to make them. We call for the young generation to have their encounter where the Lord says, Take off your shoes. You are on holy ground. I am about to give you My commission for your life and your generation. I am about to launch you into the war that I ve called and

4 equipped you for. I m calling you to take cities and territories, to recover lost inheritance, to come into the promise that may have been given generations ago. The time is now for it to be fulfilled. Lord, we say to them, Do not be afraid. Take off your shoes. Hear the word of the Lord and move forward in what God s calling you to do. Josh sings: I m ready! God show me Your presence. I m ready to see You! Will: When James was singing that song, that word, I heard the Lord say, I see your glory. The Lord will show you His glory. The glory of the Lord is in you. He has deposited in you everything you need to overcome your adversary. John: One thing I have seen in the younger generation is that Satan has done such a number on them that they cannot hear the call. The enemy s plan is that if he can kill a baby in Bethlehem he won t have to worry about Golgotha 30 years later. God knew that and sent an angel. I have prayed for God to send angels to break in on their lives. Let s begin to stir, call out and ask God to send angels to break in on them, get them out of there and into a place of safety where they won t be stomped out before they have a chance to move in what they need to move in. Lord we ask right now that You send an angel. We send angels. They are ministering spirits sent to render service for the saints. We call right now. They are under fear and we say, Don t be afraid. Send angels to tell them not to be afraid. You have made a way of escape. Janice: Part of the responsibility of the older generation is to war to see the next generation brought forth. That s what I hear coming out of John. The Lord says, I have set an assignment in you, the older generation to begin to war for the extension of My kingdom through that next generation. Lord, we stand against the forces that are trying to steal these gifts; they have come against the gifts You have placed in that generation to rise up and release kingdom. We declare that greater are You in them than the enemy that s in the world. Today is a day of breaking forth and breaking out. I see this as a time when You have called that generation to stand up, rise up, come out of the water and express itself. We declare that they will not hold back but will begin to move in the way You created them to move, releasing the things that You have called them to release. Not one gift among us will be lost. Every force of death and destruction that s tried to stand against them has to back up when Lord Sabaoth shows Himself with His army and His hosts. This generation is moving forward and releasing what You have called them to release today s Mark: A few weeks ago the Spirit of God showed me this next generation. They were all on fire, literally. I saw a congregation full of fires. The Spirit of God revealed to me that to this next generation He has called them to be on fire for Him, to be trailblazers, to be an unquenchable fire. Wherever you go, you will set people on fire that cannot be extinguished. As you go I will begin to heal wounds and disappointment and places that have kept you bound. I will deliver you whether you want to be delivered or not. I will send the Spirit of God to deliver you and free you up so you can go forth in faith and power. Fire starters will go forth out of here top set fires wherever they go. We loose the oppression of the enemy from over them. We loose depression and fear. We release faith and power. We release the revelation of God to come to them, the fire of God to come to them, the passion of God to come to them, the purpose and the destiny and the plan that you have for their lives. Deborah: I was hearing a message in tongues and I want to release it. I sense that there will be more than one portion of interpretation. If the Spirit of the Lord gives you a portion of it, feel free to come up and release it. (Gives tongues message.) Chris: The Lord says, I am raising up a people like this lion, a people in a tribe that is not afraid to go into a new territory and make that territory mine; make that territory look like heaven. I m carving out a people that are not afraid to step into the reality of what heaven looks like. I m starting with that next generation. They look strange but they look fearsome. They are on fire. I m stepping into that place and demolishing that demonic structure that was set up when the lion of Judah walks into that territory. Deborah: They will start a fire and many of you will catch on fire. You will begin to go forth as I have called you to go forth. This new fire will rise and rise and rise. The blaze will get higher. You will be those that will enter into the blaze of fire that is set by the generation that is coming forth. You have been laxidasical and in your laxness you have not fully entered into that which I have for you but their fire will burn so fast and so furious that you will step into it and will see your regions arise in a new way. Revival will begin to spread throughout the land and you will know that I am the Lord God Who has given you the land. You will take over in a new way. The fire will burn and burn and burn in the house of the Lord. Then it will enter into the cities and communities. Then it will enter into the nation and you will see that I, the Lord your God am the one to be feared. Janice: What I heard the Lord say in her tongue was, Catch it! Catch it! Catch it! Catch the vision. It is not just for the younger generation. It s for the older generation. Catch the vision of what He s doing in the next generation. Lord, we

5 willfully reach up this morning and catch the vision of the new place You are calling us to and the lands Deborah prophesied over; Lord we are catching the vision. We will not be distracted. Our eyes will not turn to the right or to the left. We are reaching for the vision You have called. We are catching it. Take us Lord, where You will. Have us do what You will. James: As she was praying, I saw someone moving, like a group of people moving along a path. As they were moving I saw the windows of heaven opening over regions. The only way that these windows would open up is if the people would move, if they kept moving. As they moved to different parts, windows would open up over another part. As they would fall out, people were catching them. We will continue to move forward. We have to move forward. We are not going to bow to what man is telling us to do or even to what we think we should be doing. We will move Lord where You tell us to go, where You send us. John: I see a fist with the little finger sticking up. I feel like some of this new generation has not known how to come into the fist. As long as they stick up, they get bent to the left and bent to the right, stepped on and hurt. The fire that is in them is continually stomped. Lord, we ask that You show them how to come into the fist and let their part be part of the fist. Bring them into the fist so that their strength may be added to the strength of the fist so that they might not get bent to the left or to the right. Bring them into the fist in Jesus name. Richard: There are some of you standing before the Red Sea, just like the Children of Israel when Moses raised up his staff. You re afraid to go forward, afraid to move on. This is what the Lord says; we heard about a fist and we re hearing about it again. I want you to hear what the Lord says about His fist. He says, The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt. This speaks of our enemy speaking against us. With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the river and strike it into seven streams and make men cross over dry shod. God says, I m going to be an enemy to your enemy and an adversary to your adversary, but keep on moving. Linda: One of the first prophetic dreams I had after getting baptized in the Holy Spirit was about a gathering of young people. They were just standing around talking in little groups, waiting. A cloud rolled in and a sound came out of the cloud. As the sound hit their ears, they stood up straight and began to get into rank and file and march down the street. Lord, we declare that You have planted Your word in territories. You have already prophesied and released anointings into territories. They are awaiting the fire to come and catch them on fire. We call for the fulfillment of Your written word, Your prophetic word, dreams and visions. We call on that sound from heaven to strike and hit the mark in this younger generation that will get them out of a place where they don t see their purpose or their call. They are just standing and waiting. You will pull them into right position and send them out in right order. Robyn: One of the sounds that Linda was talking about is in the year olds. There is a gap between the older-older and the younger-younger. As I saw James and Josh up there, I saw we didn t know. We ve had an identity crisis. We in the 30 s and 40 s have said, We re young, but we re old; but we re young, but we re old. I have five kids. I have that generation in my house. It s been kind of weird because I m young. People have been calling me Mama Vincent or Mama Robyn. I ve been going, What? Really? We have come into a new identity of fathering and mothering. We still have the strength and energy of fire to pull them and be that launching pad that you were talking about, that trail blazer that goes before them and they will be set in right order. Lord, we declare that the 30 s and 40 s will get in right position and blaze the trail for those who are coming behind. There is an anointing on us to pull them into place and we will pull them into place. John sings: Hear the call and move it- move it. Hear the call and you pursue it. Josh sings: Draw me and I will run, run, run after Your sound, after Your voice. Here I come. John sings: Hear the call and move it- move it. Hear the call and you pursue it. Deborah: When John was talking about that one finger as trying to find its place in the fist, it was somewhat of a weak finger and could be easily bent out of place. When Robyn was sharing, I immediately saw it again. In this season we can look for the one finger, but it s going to be the finger of the thumbs up that says, Yes, you re doing it right. The Lord is bringing His agreement to what was spoken by the two of them and will bring it together and cause it to come to pass. Robert: I love the verse that was shared, I will shake My fist against the enemy. Turn to your neighbor and say, You re the fist. Lord, thank You that You are raising up Your body in the earth. You are raising up 5-fold ministry. You are restoring the church to the power You desired for it to have. You are raising up a new generation to take up the standard to see Your kingdom move forward in the earth. We thank You for this time and for all the revelation that has

6 come forward. We call forth that next generation and the generation after that to rise up in faith. Lord we bless You and honor You. Everyone turn and release a blessing on everyone on the web cast. We bless you today in Jesus name, Amen!
