Isaiah 62:1 (New International Version NIV) Prayer Topic One - Pray for those in authority Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (New King James Version NKJV) 1. Pray for our leaders in government. We ask that those in authority, through Godly wisdom and personal integrity, make the right decisions for our nation and the nation of Israel. Observe them (laws) carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, "Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people." What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him? Deuteronomy 4:6-7 (NIV) Prayer Topic Two - Pray for the CUFI Leadership and Washington DC Summit I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, Isaiah 62:6 (NKJV) 1. Pray for the favor of God upon CUFI and the Summit. 2. Pray for all CUFI Summit meetings; that we may receive greater understanding and wisdom in our relationships with Israel including America s current position on Israel. 3. Pray for an increased level of commitment among our members. 4. Pray that a global army of intercessors will mobilize on behalf of Israel. 5. Pray for unity among all attendees, presenters and the Church body. 6. Pray for protection over all attendees, speakers and their families

2 7. Pray for CUFI on Campus and all youth activities that they may impart a love for Israel and the Jewish people and a passion to live Genesis 12:3. Pray the youth will be empowered to live as bold advocates for Israel on our college campuses. Pray they are protected from all harm and operate with the full armor of God. 8. Pray that God will touch the heart of every Christian in America to join CUFI in support of Israel. How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing even life forevermore. Psalm 133:1-3 (NIV) Prayer Topic Three - Pray for Israel Now the LORD had said to Abram: Get out of your country, From your family And from your father s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV) 1. Pray for God s protection, prosperity, comfort and favor on the land and the people of Israel. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Genesis 17:7 (NKJV) Pray a. For God s Protection upon Israel. I lift up my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip - He who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, He who watches over you will not slumber; Indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you -The LORD is your shade at your right hand: the sun will not harm you by day, not the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm, He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalms 121 (NIV) b. For God s Prosperity upon Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces. Therefore thus says the LORD: I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it, says the LORD of hosts, And a surveyor s line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem. Again proclaim, saying, thus says the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem. Zechariah 1:16-17 (NKJV) d. For God s Favor upon Israel. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield. Psalm 5:11-12 (NKJV) LORD, You have been favorable to Your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob. Psalm 85:1 (NKJV) 2. Pray for the spiritual restoration of Israel. Then those of Israelite lineage separated themselves from all foreigners; and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers. 3 And they stood up in their place and read from the Book of the Law of the LORD their God for one-fourth of the day; and for another fourth they confessed and worshiped the LORD their God. Nehemiah 9:2-3 (NKJV) 3. Pray that all the Jewish people who desire to return to their covenant land, Eretz Israel, will be allowed to do so. For behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah, says the LORD. And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. Jeremiah 30:3 (NKJV) 4. Pray for Israel s armed forces, Fire, Police and all other leaders. He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NIV) Prayer Topic Four - Pray for the Church, Elected Officials and Godly Leaders 1. Pray for the Church to rally throughout America, continually praying for Godly and spiritual leaders

4 2. Pray that newly appointed or elected leaders will be supportive of Israel. The king s heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. Proverbs 21:1 (NKJV) 3. Pray for meetings with our elected officials on Capitol Hill. Pray that a. Our elected officials will be open and receptive to CUFI s delegates and our talking points. b. Our elected officials take positive actions on Israel s behalf. c. Our designated speakers will be respectful, honorable, and confident speaking with clarity and unified purpose. 4. Pray for our nation and for spiritual and patriotic revival in the land. Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say." Exodus 4:12 (NIV) 5. Thank God for His Eternal counsel. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. Psalm 33:11 (NKJV) 4

5 PROCLAMATION FOR ISRAEL Father, we speak your Word over Israel, that she shall have all that You have promised her and that she shall possess her inheritance now and forevermore. We thank You, Father that the land of Israel is blossoming as a rose in the desert. We say that this land shall be called Hephzibah and Beulah, and no longer be called Forsaken and Desolate, for You delight in Your land, a land filled with joy and peace. We thank You that Israel s fathers and mothers will train their children in the ways of the Lord and that the sons and daughters of Israel will see their children s children grow old in the Promised Land. We thank the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He shall be Israel s defense for He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. May Israel s sons and daughters go forward singing praise unto the Lord that they may stand and watch the Glory of the Lord go before them as He protects them from all harm. We thank You, Lord, that You are doing marvelous things in Israel for You are zealous for Your covenant Land. Therefore, Father, we pray that the United States of America will always be on the right side of Israel and will not pressure Israel to divide her eternal inheritance which You have given to her. We bless the land of Israel in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Pray God s blessing over the Jewish people. For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; 8 but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; Deuteronomy 7:6-9 (NKJV) 5
