YOM YHWH! The Day of YHWH!

Shalom Aleichem (Peace be unto you), NOMANSZONE Many are concerned and others fearful if the natural disasters and civil disorders that we have been witnessing in the media today is the start of Yom (day) YHWH. Several Christian groups as well as certain Muslim factions have already confirmed that the disasters that we are witnessing are a confirmation of the start of the Day of Judgement. It is a known fact that the Mayan Calendar does not go past the year 2012 causing many to believe. It is not the purpose of this article to add fuel to the deliberation or increase speculation on the matter except to teach on what the Scriptures actually say about Yom YHWH and allow the reader to make up their own mind. One thing is certain; the Scripture is not ambiguous about the Day of YHWH! It provides amble and sound teaching on the subject, when we choose to understand the subject from its origin; the Hebrew Scriptures! However, before embarking on this important task it is essential that we distinguish the various judgements that are spoken of in the Hebrew Scriptures. These being; Yaakov s troubles Yom Ha Din Yom YHWH In Christian eschatology Yaakov s troubles and Yom YHWH is generally understood to be prior to Yom Ha Din. The scholarship is that these are unrelated judgements that will happen at different times. The Hebrew perspective differs, it shows that these events are concurrent and overlap each other because their purposes are different, none the less related. The chart below outlines the Hebrew perspective that will unfold during this article. COVENANT Avraham YAAKOV S TROUBLES In Progress Last Seven Years Daniyel s Timeline AYDEN The Fall MILLENIUM 1000 Years 3700 B.C.E 3045 C.E YOM HA DIN The first In Progress The final Judgment Interim Judgements Judgement YOM YHWH 7 Year Period MALCUT 1000 Years We will begin by examining the first of these two judgements then conclude with Yom YHWH. Each heading begins with a short explanation from the Christian perspective. Yaakov s troubles In the Christian Scriptures this judgement is called the Great Tribulation. The Tribulation is the name given to the event or events referred to in the Olivet discourse, specifically Mattityahu (Matthew) 24 and Luka (Luke) 21. In Christian eschatology, the Tribulation will 1

last for seven years where anyone who chooses not to follow Yeshua before the Rapture was left behind to experience the wrath of YHWH. There are variations of this version. In the Hebrew perspective Yaakov s troubles is in progress. The length of this judgment is undetermined in the Hebrew Scriptures although the period of 40 years is very significant. The term Yaakov s troubles is a quote from Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 30:7. Oy! For that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Yaakov's Trouble... In Hebrew understanding it relates to the time of the final re-gathering and restoration of Yisra el. We know from Hebrew History that during the period of B.C.E the 10 Northern tribes were exiled by King Tilgat Pilsger 3rd to Assyria and then to lands beyond the Euphrates where they were eventually driven to the four corners of the earth as Moses had prophesied. Deuteronomy 4:26; 28:64 The Southern tribes were dispersed in 70 C.E and their captivity officially ended in 1948 with the re-establishment of the state of Israel. The prophecy of Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 4:4-5 shows that house of Ephraim were to be punished for 390 years for worshiping Baal/Asherap. Having not repented after 390 years in captivity, the Northern tribes then had to endure the seven fold increase of the penalty according to Wayiqra (Leviticus) 26:27, 28 (70 X 390 years from 721 B.C). That means they would be in exile for another 2730 years. Using the Hebrew Calendar this period formally ended in What Christendom is yet to accept is that they represent the majority of the house of Ephraim who are in exile and they are named Yisra el. The name Yisra el was given to the Patriarch Yaakov after he had successfully overcome the Malak YHWH as a reward (Beresheeth (Genesis) 32:28) which Yaakov then bestowed upon the younger son of Yosef (Ephraim) making him the bakor or first born of his sons (Beresheeth (Genesis) 48: The name Yaakov is prophetic for the House of Ephraim because this was the name under which Yisra el struggled with both human and angelic forces and overcame. It was named upon the house of Ephraim by Yirmeyahu because it foretells the story of a similar struggle in which the house of Yisra el will undertake and overcome. It is the House of Yisra el that largely remains in exile while much of the House of Yahudah has returned to the land. Unbeknown to Ephraim the intensity and the duration of Yaakov s troubles is determinant upon their response to YHWH s program of chastening and testing. The more the house of Ephraim remains unresponsive to YHWH s call to do Teshuvah and return to the land allotted to their forefathers, the severe and extended the period becomes. However, in the final seven years of Yaakov s troubles YHWH s program will reverse, Yahrushalayim will fall. The final seven years are the subject matter of Daniyel s time line. It will begin after YHWH has completed the regathering of Yisra el. The seven years is not to punish Yisra el but to punish the enemies of Yisra el who by this time would have considered unified Yisra el to be a danger and an enemy to the One New World Order. According to navi Zecharyah all nations shall gather against Yahrushalayim to battle Zecharyah (Zechariah) 14:1-3. Yeshua refers to this seven year period as a time of distress and perplexity for the nations Mattityahu (Matthew) 24:6-8. Yeshua describes this period in the imagery of a women in labour pains showing that it will be a period of intense suffering for the nations. It will be a time of immense disasters and war unparallel with anything we have seen in human history. Shaul in Tesloniqyah Alef (1 Thessalonians) 5:3 calls it a time of sudden destruction. 2

Yom Ha Din In the Christian Scriptures this judgement is called the Day of Judgment. It is the accepted norm in Christianity that this judgement will begin at the end of time, during the final resurrection of all the dead. Other factions maintain that it will begin at the second coming of Yeshua and it will end with the judgement of the Great White Throne Gilyahna (Revelations) 20. These interpretations are based on passages from the book of Revelations. In the Hebrew perspective Yom Ha Din is in progress. The Day of Judgement began with the fall of Ahdahm, is interspaced with interim judgements and will end with the final Judgement. Interim judgements have been seen throughout human History with the rise and fall of many great and small empires. The navi Daniyel revealed five of these great kingdoms, the last of which remains alive in the confederacy of the European Union Daniyel (Daniel) 2. The final phase of this judgement began two thousand years ago when Yeshua put the sickle into the harvest. This judgement Yeshua illustrated in the parable of the weeds and the wheat and the sheep and goats. It ends with a twofold harvest. Mattityahu (Mathew) 13:24-30, 13:37-50, Luka (Luke) 12:49. Notice that it is the wicked that is raptured and not the righteous! The conclusion of this harvest will be the judgement of the Great White Throne. A misinterpretation of a critical passage in the Brit Chadashah created a misunderstanding of this important aspect of the Messiah s first coming. The passage is in Luka (Luke) 12: When the text is correctly interpreted it reads, 49 I have come to send judgement (fire) on the earth (1), and how I wish it were already over! (2) 50 I have an immersion (judgement) to immerse you with and I am distressed until it is finally over! (1) The term fire in verse 49 in our traditional English versions is deceiving when it is not interpreted; the term can mean many things to a non-hebrew speaker destruction, death, punishment, cleansing, genocide etc. The term is in fact a Semitic expression meaning judgement. When the passage is interpreted with its correct understanding we immediately see that Yeshua is referring to Yom Ha Din. Yeshua came to begin the final 3000 year phase of Yom Ha Din which will culminate with the great judgement at the end of the age. Traditionally this verse is understood to mean that Yeshua was referring to His suffering and execution, this is however out of place with the subject matter of verses which speaks of how the judgement Yeshua begins would bring division among His own followers. (2) At the end part verse 49 Yeshua s expresses His great reluctance to see the conclusion of the Day of Judgement because He is not willing that any should perish of which the Apostle Kepha (Peter) reiterates in his own teaching (Kepha Bet (2 Peter) 3:8-10). The misunderstanding arose in the English translation because of a confusion of the tense of the Hebrew word burn which can mean to start burning to be on fire or to burn up. The tense employed in the verse is the present tense i.e. already burning. If the tense was burned up then it cannot be referring to fire itself because a fire does not burn up but it is what the fire acts on that is burnt up, which in this case would be earth at the end of the judgement. Yeshua was expressing His reluctance to see this day come to its final conclusion, the same attitude expressed by the prophet Ahmos (Amos) 5: In the book of Mattityahu Yeshua shows that the completion of Yom Din, YHWH will judge all the nations of the Earth. Mattityahu (Matthew) 10:15. Truly I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sedom and Amorah in the Yom HaDin, than for that city. See also 3

11:22, 24, 12: He also shows that it will be a day in which YHWH will judge all the unrighteous (12:36) who have lived on Earth including all of the fallen Malak (Angels). Yom YHWH In the Christian Scriptures this judgement is called the Day of the ADONAI. It is seen in Christianity as the day in which Yeshua returns and sets up the Kingdom. It is called elsewhere in the Renewed Covenant as, the day of the Messiah (Phylypsiyah (Philippians) 1:10), the day of the Coming of the Son of Man (Mattityahu (Matthew) 24:27) and the Coming of the Righteous (Tzadik) One (Maaseh Shlichim (Acts) 7:52). In the Hebrew perspective Yom YHWH is a day of wrath and vengeance. The navi Yeshayahu, calls it a day of visitation of punishment (Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 10:3). The prophet Yechezkel refers to it as the day of the anger of (Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 7:19). The entire conception in the Hebrew Scriptures of this Day is dark and foreboding. It s similarity to the last seven years of Yaakov s troubles shows that it is the same event. But how is the contradiction to be reconciled i.e. in the Hebrew Scriptures it is a day of wrath and vengeance but in the Christian Scriptures it is a day of glory and elation. The fact is this is the same day to both Jew and Christian except that each camp is viewing the same event from opposite ends. Yom YHWH will be a day of retribution for the enemies of Yisra el and equally it will be a day of rejoicing for the coming of the Messiah. What is important to understand about this judgement is that it is a day that YHWH deals with the enemies of Yisra el. The Scripture show that before this time YHWH has redeemed and purged Yisra el of all that committed abomination and practice Torahlessness, exactly as Yeshua illustrates and predicts in a number of parables Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:21-22, 13:24-30, 41, 24:11-12 therefore, the remnant will not be subjected to this judgement. None the less we cannot ignore the fact the Scriptures also show that present day Yahrushalayim will be attacked and destroyed during Yom YHWH (Zecharyah (Zechariah) 14:1-3). It will be a parallel of the destruction of Yahrushalayim in 70 C.E but there shall be deliverance in the mountain of YHWH! Yoel (Joel) 2:32. In that place YHWH will keep His remnant in a protective canopy (Yoel (Joel) 2:1-2, Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 4:2-6). The TaNaK holds a tremendous amount of information on this day and with that content it is possible to construct the actual events of that period without recourse to the Brit Chadashah. What many believers don t seem to realize is that even without the Renewed Covenant all that we need to know of the past and future of Yisra el is in the TaNaK. What is to follow is what the TaNaK reveals on the events of this Day which are not listed in any particular order. The TaNaK shows that Yom YHWH will be a day of wrath, trouble and tribulation. The great Yom is near, it is near, and approaching greatly, even the voice of the Yom : then the mighty man shall cry out bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and tribulation, a day of waste and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness Tzephanyah (Zephaniah) 1: It will be a day of utter destruction. Howl, for Yom is at hand. It shall come as destruction from the Almighty... See, Yom comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the earth desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners out of it Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 13:6, 9. 4

It will be a day of loud shofars and resounding alarms. A day of the shofars and alarm against the fortified cities, and against the high towers Tzephanyah (Zephaniah) 1:16. The heavens will be shaken beyond measure. For the cochavim of the shamayim and its constellations shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not send her light to shine... Therefore I will shake the shamayim, and the earth shall move out of its place, in the wrath of tzevaoth, and in the day of His fierce anger Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 13:10, 13. The sun shall not give of its light and darkness shall engross the land. Blow the shofar in Tzion, and sound an alarm in My kadosh mountain: let all the inhabitants of eretz Yisrael tremble: for Yom comes, for it is near at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning dew upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there has not been anything ever the like, neither shall there be any more after it, even to the years of many generations Yoel (Joel) 2:1-2. The Earth shall quake violently. The earth shall quake before them; the shamayim shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the cochavim shall withdraw their shining Yoel (Joel) 2:10. Technology and wealth will not deliver on that day. And I will bring tribulation upon men that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against : and their dahm shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the Yom of s wrath; but the fire of His jealousy shall devour the whole earth: for He shall make even a speedy end of all them that dwell in the earth Tzephanyah (Zephaniah) 1: The navi Yeshayahu sees it as a day in which all the proud and lofty shall be brought low the powerful, the rich and the famous. For Yom tzevaoth shall be upon everyone that is proud and lofty, and upon everyone that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: And upon all the cedars of Levanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, And upon every high tower, and upon every fortified wall, And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all desirable sights. And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the pride of men shall be brought low: and alone shall be exalted in that day Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 2: The wicked, the arrogant and the ruthless will lose everything. And I will punish the olam for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the pride of the ruthless Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 13:11. Religion or a man s idols will not deliver on that day. And the idols He shall utterly abolish And the idols He shall utterly abolish... In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself 5

to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for the fear of, and for the tifereth of His excellence, when He arises to shake the earth mightily.. Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 2:18, 20. The navi Yechezkel calls it time of the nations, an appointment with the Elohim of Yisra el. The word of came again to me, saying, Ben-adam, prophesy and say, This says the Master ; Howl you, Woe to that day. For the day is near, even the Yom is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the nations Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 30:1-3. That appointment is in the Valley of Yahushaphat. Assemble yourselves, and come, all you heathen, and gather yourselves together all around, who will break your might there. Cause your mighty ones to come down with you. Let the heathen be awakened, and come up to the Valley of Yahushaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen on every side. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get down; for the winepress is full, the pots overflow; for their wickedness is great Yoel (Joel) 3: Their will signs in the heavens and on Earth. And I will show wonders in the shamayim and on the earth, dahm, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into dahm, before the great and the terrible Yom comes Yoel (Joel) 2: The Sun and Moon shall turn blood red before that great Day. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the cochavim shall withdraw their shining Yoel (Joel) 3:15. Eliyahu returns before that great Day. He turns the hearts of Yisra el; he reveals and revives the Torah. Behold, I will send you Eliyahu ha navi before the coming of the great and dreadful Yom : 6 And he shall turn the lev of the ahvot to the children, and the lev of the children to their ahvot, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse through utter destruction Malachi (Malaki) 4:5-6. A phenomenon takes place, the lost tribes of Yisra el awake to their identity and inheritance. They are unified with the children of Yahudah, and their numbers are without measure. Then said Elohim, Call his name Lo-Ami: for you are not My people, and I will not be your Elohim. Yet the full number of the children of Yisrael Shall be as the sand of the sea, that cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, You are not My people-lo Ami, there it shall be said to them, You are the sons of the living El B nai-elohim. Then shall the children of Yahudah and the children of Yisrael be gathered together, and appoint for themselves One Head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be Yom Yizre-El Hoshea (Hosea) 1:

They shall form a mighty army. And shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executes His word: for Yom is great and very terrible; and who can survive it? Yoel (Joel) 2:10. Yeshayahu tells us that there shall be a great war. A war that is not like any other for a multitude beyond measure will transverse the land. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like a great people; a tumultuous noise of the malchutim of the nations gathered together: tzevaoth gathers the army for the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of the shamayim, even, and the weapons of His displeasure, to destroy the whole land Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 13:4-5. It will be a war in which YHWH will judge the nations. I have trampled the winepress alone; and from the nations there was none with Me: for I will trample them in My anger, and trample them in My fury; and their dahm shall be sprinkled upon My garments, and I will stain all My garments... And I will trample down the nations in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 63:3, 6. Keep silent at the presence of the Master : for Yom is at hand: for has prepared a sacrifice, He has invited His guests. And it shall come to pass in the day of s sacrifice, that I will punish the rulers, and the melech s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. Tzephanyah (Zephaniah) 1:7-8. It will be a nuclear conflict of some type and there will be total fatality. For the displeasure of is upon all nations, and His fury upon all their armies: He shall utterly destroy them, He shall deliver them to the slaughter. Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their corpses, and the mountains shall be melted with their dahm.4 And all the host of the shamayim shall be dissolved, and the shamayim shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falls off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig eytz Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 34:2-4. Fire shall devour the earth and water shall be vaporized. Oy! For the day! For Yom is at hand, and as destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Is not the grain cut off before our eyes, yes, simcha and gilah from the Bayit of our Elohim? The zera is rotten under their clods, the storehouses are laid desolate, and the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. How do the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yes, the flocks of sheep also perish. O, to You will I cry: for the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the eytzim of the field. The beasts of the field cry also to You: for the rivers of mayim have dried up, and the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness Yoel (Joel) 1: Yeshayahu predicts on that day every man shall flee to his own people and country. There will be no safe haven for the sword shall pursue and bring death to all. And man shall be as the hunted gazelle, and as a sheep that no man takes up: every man shall turn to his own people, and flee into his own land. Each one that is found shall be thrust through; and everyone that is joined to them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall 7

be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be plundered, and their wives raped. Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 13: Man shall become scarcer than fine gold. I will make a mortal man scarcer than fine gold; even mankind scarcer than the gold of Ophir Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 13: Many will flee to Bozrah and Edom (a metaphor for the mountains of Jodan, Suria and Saudi Arabia) for safety but even there they will be pursued and killed. For My sword shall be sharpened in the shamayim: see, it shall come down upon the Edomites, and upon the people of My curse, condemned in mishpat. The sword of is filled with dahm, it shall overflow with fatness, and with the dahm of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 34:5-6. Many will hide in caves and underground but they too will not escape death. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for the fear of, and for the tifereth of His excellence, when He arises to shake the earth mightily... In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for the fear of, and for the tifereth of His excellence, when He arises to shake the earth mightily.. Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 2: Present day Yahrushalayim will fall. See, Yom comes, and your spoil shall be divided in the midst of you. For I will gather all nations against Yahrushalayim to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle Zecharyah (Zechariah) 14:1-3. There will be tribulation in Yahrushalayim. For, see, the Master, tzevaoth, He takes away from Yahrushalayim and from Yahudah the stock and the store, the whole supply of lechem, and the whole supply of mayim, The mighty man, and the man of war, the shophet, and the navi, and the diviner, and the elder, The captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counselor, and the skilled craftsman, and the expert enchanter Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 3:1-3. After which Yahrushalayim will be destroyed. For it is the Yom of 's vengeance, and the year of paybacks for the controversy of Tzion. And its streams shall be turned into tar, and its dust into brimstone, and its land shall become burning tar. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke of it shall go up leolam-va-ed: from generation to generation it shall lie in ruin; none shall pass through it leolam-va-ed Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 35:8-10. The west will turn their back on Yisra el and stand with the enemies of YHWH. And the wild ox shall come down with them, and the young bulls with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with dahm, and their dust made fat with fatness. For it is the Yom of 8

's vengeance, and the year of paybacks for the controversy of Tzion Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 34:7-8. The war will be over oil and its exchange of fire will cause the oil fields of the Middle East to burn for generations and be uninhabitable forever. And its streams shall be turned into tar, and its dust into brimstone, and its land shall become burning tar. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke of it shall go up leolam-va-ed: from generation to generation it shall lie in ruin; none shall pass through it leolam-va-ed Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 34:7-8. The kings of East will be completely overthrown and their rulers as nothing. They shall call its nobles to the malchut, but none shall be there, and all her rulers shall become nothing Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 34:12. But upon Har Tzion shall be deliverance, and there shall be set-apartness; and Beit Yaakov shall possess their possessions, and those who possess them. And Beit Yaakov shall be a fire, and Beit Yoseph the flame, and Beit Esav for stubble, and they shall kindle them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of Beit Esav; for has spoken it Ovadyah (Obadiah) 1: Iraq and Iran will become uninhabitable. And Bavel, the tifereth of all malchutim, the tifereth of the Chaldeans pride shall become as when Elohim overthrew Sedom and Amorah. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian tar his tent; neither shall the shepherds rest their folds there. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of owls; ostriches shall live there, and wild goats shall dance there. And owls shall cry in their palaces, and jackals in their beautiful temples: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 13: The navi Yechezkel shows that Mitzrayim (Egypt) and their allies from Africa shall join the war and be destroyed in this war. And the sword shall come upon Mitzrayim, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Mitzrayim, and they shall take away her multitudes, and her foundations shall be broken down. 5 Ethiopia, and Libya, and Kuv, and all the mingled people, all the sons of the land of the brit, shall fall with them by the sword. 6 This says ; They also that uphold Mitzrayim shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Seweneh shall they fall in it by the sword, says the Master. 7 And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted. 8 And they shall know that I am, when I have set a fire in Mitzrayim, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 30:4. Egypt will become a desolate wilderness. Mitzrayim shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Yahudah, because they have shed innocent dahm in their land Yoel (Joel) 3:19. 9

The Day of YHWH is called a day of redemption. Terrible for YHWH s enemies and great for YHWH s redeemed. For the day of vengeance is in My lev, and the year of My redeemed has come Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 63:4. It is a day in which history shall be reversed and rewritten. For the Yom is near upon all the nations: as you have done, it shall be done to you: your reward shall return upon your own head. For as you have drunk upon My kadosh mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually, yes, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been Ovadyah (Obadiah) 1: There shall be deliverance and salvation in the mountain of YHWH and in the restored city of Yerushalayim. And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the Name of shall be delivered: for in Har Tzion and in Yahrushalayim shall be deliverance and escape, as has said, and among the remnant survivors whom shall call Yoel (Joel) 2:32. But upon Har Tzion shall be deliverance, and there shall be set-apartness; and Beit Yaakov shall possess their possessions, and those who possess them Ovadyah (Obadiah) 1:17. The remnant shall be in a protective canopy an impenetrable shelter. A fire devours in front of them; and behind them a flame burns: eretz Yisrael is as the Gan Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yes, and nothing shall escape from them Yoel (Joel) 2:1-2. In that day shall the Branch of be beautiful and full of tifereth, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and comely for those that are escaped of Yisrael. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Tzion, and he that remains in Yahrushalayim, shall be called kadosh, even everyone that is written among the living in Yahrushalayim: When shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Tzion, and shall have purged the bloodguilt of Yahrushalayim from the midst of it by the Ruach of mishpat, and by the Ruach of burning. And will create upon every dwelling place of Har Tzion, and upon her gatherings, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming of fire by night: for upon all the tifereth shall be an eternal shechinah covering. And there shall be a sukkah for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a cover from storm and from rain Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 4:2-6. Finally the navi Ahmos cautions us that we should despise that Day and not desire to see it. Woe to you that desire the Yom! To what end is it for you? The Yom is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the bayit, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the Yom be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it? Ahmos (Amos) 5: The Conclusion Yom YHWH will bring death and destruction but it will conclude with everlasting life and happiness. Out of Zion shall come forth the deliverer (Tehillim (Psalms) 50:2), He shall arise as a star out of the House of Yaakov (Jacob) (Bamidbar (Numbers) 14:17-19) and He shall 10

set up the everlasting Kingdom of His Abba on Earth (Daniyel (Daniel) 7:27). His dominion shall be from sea to sea and from the river unto the ends of the earth (Tehillim (Psalms) 72:8-11). He shall destroy the lawless one and put away all lawlessness (Daniyel (Daniel) 8:25; Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 11:4. He shall make Yerushalem the capital of the world (Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 3:17). The Messiah shall teach Torah to remnant of the nations (Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 35:1-10, 2:3; Micha (Mikah) 4:2). The Messiah shall cause the wolf, the lamb, the leopard and lion to dwell in Shalom; nations will know peace for the first time (Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 11:6-9). Men will beat their weapons into implements of agriculture; feminine and disease will disappear (Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 34:7, Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 2:4). The deserts shall blossom again and its rivers will flow down to the sea. The Earth shall return to its former state (Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 35:1-10). Severe weather patterns shall cease and there shall be an abundance of produce (Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 24:26-29). This is only a handful of details that the TaNaK provides on the conclusion of this day. The signs and events of Yom YHWH make it obvious that there is much to happen within the family of Yisra el and among the nations of the Goyim before this day can come to pass. Thus, the Scriptures comfort us not be fearful of this great Day. In fact Sha ul (Paul) teaches that day will not take us unaware, we will know the day and the hour! For when they shall say, Shalom-ve betachon; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a woman in labor; and they shall not escape. But you, Yisraelite brothers, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief Tesloniqyah Alef (First Thessalonians) 5:3-4. Sha ul goes on to caution Yisraelite brethren to be sober and watchful! Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch verses 6-7. On a final word what we are seeing in the Media is the ongoing progress of Yom Ha Din and the signs of Yaakov s troubles. The civil disorders and wars are the workings of these judgments. The disasters that the nations are experiencing are interim judgements that will continue to take place up to the final Judgement. Beresheeth (Genesis) 15:16 reveal that YHWH measures the iniquity of nations and determines when it is due! We need not concern ourselves with these events since they are His measures to bring the nations into repentance and into alignment for Yom YHWH. A teaching from our book The Breach Maker. Barukh haba b shaym, Halleluyah! Praised is He who comes in the name of YHWH! 11
