Notes of Floyd E. Taylor for Dec. 27, 2010 Teleconference Bible Study Does it Matter that it is Past Midnight and the Call of Go Out to Meet the Bridegroom Coming has Already been Given? Tonight I would like to continue with the review of the Works of Solomon and the temple, and other issues relating to Solomon, and then I would like to jump into others things that the Lord has given more clarity upon today. So we will look quickly into Solomon s Temple and briefly consider the issues of his fall, as well as to consider the text of Psalm 50, Psalm 37, and John 8. But, firstly let us quickly review the New Years and the Parable of the Ten Virgins. The order to get out of Babylon has been given!!!!!!!! In the Parable of the Ten Virgins the Lord says that at Midnight the Cry goes out that the Bridegroom is coming and that we are to get dressed and GO OUT to meet Him. That cry has gone out and that warning has been made. In April and May the Lord confirmed several times that the Midnight came during the end of March. That was foretold by accepted prophets of the church, and in addition to that the Lord gave several confirmations through His Words in various Prophetic Visions/Dreams. This means that on His clock, this New Years will be equivalent to a Time that is ~12:32 to ~12:40 on the Clock of His Day. That is dangerously close to the Time of His Appearing for Judgment. 2 We should remember that on April 3 rd and 4 th, 2010, we prayed in our Nightly Prayer Time for a Prophetic Vision to be given for the Church to Christine, and it was given to her by the Lord on April 7 th, for it was in agreement with the Will of the Lord in this Day per Joel 2:28. Thus, it was a very important Prophetic Vision. As a reminder, the following is the Prophetic Vision the Lord gave to Christine on April 7 th, 2010: I was hanging out with my friends at their house, then I left. I got in my car and went a little while when I saw another one of my friends parked by the side of the road. So I stopped by to see if she needed help and when I asked her she just pointed toward the sky, I looked up and there was a huge rainbow. I tried taking a picture of it with my camera but the picture turned out black. So I got into my car again and started to drive soon I was by one of the largest Churches in the city and saw another car parked by the side of the road with the front end crushed. I asked if they needed help and surprisingly it was another kid from my school. He said that a statue of a white lion fell on the hood of his car but he was alright. At that point in time the sky turned pitch black, except for rainbow colored lights spread over the land (kind of like the Northern Lights). So again I tried to take a picture of the sky facing the East and it did not work. I turned around facing the West and right underneath what looked like a black hole were four things. There were two men heads (not the bodies), a compass, and a strange number, The objects had a golden hue to them. I mainly remember one of the heads, it was a dark curly haired man s head with a medium sized dark curly beard, this head looked older than the other one which had dark and curly hair also, except no beard. It seemed as if they were looking right at me. The compass rose was also golden (I m not sure of the direction but I think it was northwest). What scared me the most of all was the strange number I can still remember it And again I tried to take a picture of the objects but the screen was again black. At that time, all the darkness, rainbow, and the objects were sucked up into the black hole and immediately the sky turned blue again with only a few clouds. Later I was discussing the mysterious objects with my friends at school. Everyone who had seen it saw the two heads, a few also saw the compass, but I was the only one who saw the strange number. On the night of April 19 th, Christine provided the following clarifications. Please understand that Christine has been so upset about the Vision and the fear she felt when she saw the number 1327 that she was uncomfortable to speak further of the Vision until the Evening of April 19 th. When Christine was first leaving the friend s house she was driving Northwest in her dream (West in real life.) There was a song playing on the car radio when she was leaving was Telephone. (See lyrics on next couple pages, as well as a news article about the lyrics and video.) The black hole and the 4 items in the sky were directly over the church. There was a golden hue (radiance) around the church and all of the items in the sky. The church was not sucked into the black hole. There were four kids at school at the end. Everybody saw the black hole. One of the kids saw the two faces. The next two kids saw the faces and the compass, and only Christine saw the number Afterwards the sky was blue and there were some billowy white clouds in the sky. The Lord did not stop there, for He confirmed this Prophetic Warning and His Call through many others, inclusive of the following two that He gave in May Page No.: 2

Proverbs 9:1-6 1 Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; 2 She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table. 3 She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city, 4 "Whoever is simple, let him turn in here! As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, 5 "Come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed. 6 Forsake foolishness and live, and go in the Way of Understanding. Page No.: 4

And of course we have the completion in Sept. 23 rd, 2010 when the Lord confirmed that the Time has now come for the Threshing and the separating part. Those who will not separate themselves from Babylon will be burned up. This is a Prophetic Vision given by the Lord to a young lady named Christine on Sept. 23 rd, Christine received this Prophetic Vision during a Bible studies class at her Christian high school. September 23 rd was the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles. The Bible class was discussing the subject of fear. During the class, the Lord suddenly gave her a profound vision that was a confirmation of the Prophetic Vision about His church and about His youth, that was given to Christine on April 7 th, She said the door of her classroom seemed to open and a large lion entered the classroom and began walking up and down the aisles of the students. What was striking was that the Lion kept changing from a lion into the striking appearance of a tiger, and then it would change back into the lion. It continued changing back and forth between lion and tiger as it walked slowly through the rows of students in the classroom. Christine says that the moment the lion/tiger entered into the classroom, the students were suddenly divided. Some of them were lined up in rows along the one side of the wall, while the balance of the students was lined up in rows on the other side of the room. However, her desk was located in the middle of the class room, for she was seated apart by herself. Finally the lion/tiger came to her desk. As it came to her it changed from the lion and into the tiger. The tiger looked straight at her and then it spoke to her. The tiger said to her, The Time Has Come. Believe In The Words! The Tiger then raised its paw and it placed a Tiger Tooth into her hand. She was looking at the Tiger Tooth and then suddenly the Tiger/Lion was gone, and the tooth was also gone. Consider His Promises in the following verses: Jeremiah 51:33 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "THE DAUGHTER OF BABYLON IS LIKE A THRESHING FLOOR WHEN IT IS TIME TO THRESH HER; YET A LITTLE WHILE AND THE TIME OF HER HARVEST WILL COME." Matthew 3:12 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." Luke 3:17 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire." Isaiah 40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; BEHOLD, HIS REWARD IS WITH HIM, and HIS WORK BEFORE HIM. Now consider that He is coming to judge by Light and to burn up all the chaff who sit in darkness, beginning with their leaders. Page No.: 5

And as we all recall, He gave the following completion notice that the Time of His Coming the Bridegroom s coming to check the Lamps of all His People has come. Take notice in Zeph. 1:12 He is going to judge them by His Words and whether they understand His Good. Zephaniah 1:12 " And it shall come to pass at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and PUNISH THE MEN WHO ARE SETTLED IN COMPLACENCY, WHO SAY IN THEIR HEART, 'THE LORD WILL NOT DO GOOD, NOR WILL HE DO EVIL.' (It is the entrance of His Words that puts the Light in them. Hos. 6:5-6 says they will be judged like Light.) Page No.: 6

Page No.: 7 Notes for Dec. 27, 2010, Teleconference Bible Study with Floyd E. Taylor David prepared all things for Solomon just as the Father has prepared all things for the Lord to Build His Temple on earth in this Day. 1 Chronicles 28: Now David assembled at Jerusalem all the leaders of Israel: the officers of the tribes and the captains of the divisions who served the king, the captains over thousands and captains over hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possessions of the king and of his sons, with the officials, the valiant men, and all the mighty men of valor. 2 Then King David rose to his feet and said, "Hear me, my brethren and my people: I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made preparations to build it. 3 But God said to me, 'You shall not build a house for My Name, because you have been a man of war and have shed blood.' 4 However the LORD God of Israel chose me above all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever, for He has chosen Judah to be the ruler. And of the house of Judah, the house of my father, and among the sons of my father, He was pleased with me to make me king over all Israel. 5 And of all my sons (for the LORD has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel. 6 NOW HE SAID TO ME, 'IT IS YOUR SON SOLOMON WHO SHALL BUILD MY HOUSE AND MY COURTS; FOR I HAVE CHOSEN HIM TO BE MY SON, AND I WILL BE HIS FATHER. 7 MOREOVER I WILL ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM FOREVER, IF HE IS STEADFAST TO OBSERVE MY COMMANDMENTS AND MY JUDGMENTS, AS IT IS THIS DAY.' 8 NOW THEREFORE, IN THE SIGHT OF ALL ISRAEL, THE ASSEMBLY OF THE LORD, AND IN THE HEARING OF OUR GOD, BE CAREFUL TO SEEK OUT ALL THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD YOUR GOD, THAT YOU MAY POSSESS THIS GOOD LAND, AND LEAVE IT AS AN INHERITANCE FOR YOUR CHILDREN AFTER YOU FOREVER. 9 "AS FOR YOU, MY SON SOLOMON, KNOW THE GOD OF YOUR FATHER, AND SERVE HIM WITH A LOYAL HEART AND WITH A WILLING MIND; FOR THE LORD SEARCHES ALL HEARTS AND UNDERSTANDS ALL THE INTENT OF THE THOUGHTS. IF YOU SEEK HIM, HE WILL BE FOUND BY YOU; BUT IF YOU FORSAKE HIM, HE WILL CAST YOU OFF FOREVER. 10 CONSIDER NOW, FOR THE LORD HAS CHOSEN YOU TO BUILD A HOUSE FOR THE SANCTUARY; BE STRONG, AND DO IT." 11 THEN DAVID GAVE HIS SON SOLOMON THE PLANS FOR THE VESTIBULE, ITS HOUSES, ITS TREASURIES, ITS UPPER CHAMBERS, ITS INNER CHAMBERS, AND THE PLACE OF THE MERCY SEAT; 12 AND THE PLANS FOR ALL THAT HE HAD BY THE SPIRIT, OF THE COURTS OF THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, OF ALL THE CHAMBERS ALL AROUND, OF THE TREASURIES OF THE HOUSE OF GOD, AND OF THE TREASURIES FOR THE DEDICATED THINGS; 13 ALSO FOR THE DIVISION OF THE PRIESTS AND THE LEVITES, FOR ALL THE WORK OF THE SERVICE OF THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, AND FOR ALL THE ARTICLES OF SERVICE IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD. 14 He gave gold by weight for things of gold, for all articles used in every kind of service; also silver for all articles of silver by weight, for all articles used in every kind of service; 15 the weight for the lampstands of gold, and their lamps of gold, by weight for each lampstand and its lamps; for the lampstands of silver by weight, for the lampstand and its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand. 16 And by weight he gave gold for the tables of the showbread, for each table, and silver for the tables of silver; 17 also pure gold for the forks, the basins, the pitchers of pure gold, and the golden bowls he gave gold by weight for every bowl; and for the silver bowls, silver by weight for every bowl; 18 and refined gold by weight for the altar of incense, AND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CHARIOT, THAT IS, THE GOLD CHERUBIM THAT SPREAD THEIR WINGS AND OVERSHADOWED THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD. (This is the likeness of the two olive trees in Zech. 4:11-14, for they are filled with eyes and they are the keepers of His Words, and they pour out His Wisdom Righteousness and Justice.)

Consider the ways of the asking of the weakness of Solomon and for the commitments and the offerings for building the Temple 1 Chronicles 29:1-9 1 Furthermore King David said to all the assembly: "MY SON SOLOMON, WHOM ALONE GOD HAS CHOSEN, IS YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED; AND THE WORK IS GREAT, BECAUSE THE TEMPLE IS NOT FOR MAN BUT FOR THE LORD GOD. 2 Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance. 3 Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver: 4 three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir (This name Ophir means the land that is fruitful made so by God.), and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses; 5 the gold for things of gold and the silver for things of silver, and for all kinds of work to be done by the hands of craftsmen. WHO THEN IS WILLING TO CONSECRATE HIMSELF THIS DAY TO THE LORD?" (David had taught many in the Ways of His Words.) 6 THEN THE LEADERS OF THE FATHERS' HOUSES, LEADERS OF THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL, THE CAPTAINS OF THOUSANDS AND OF HUNDREDS, WITH THE OFFICERS OVER THE KING'S WORK, OFFERED WILLINGLY. 7 They gave for the work of the house of God five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron. 8 And whoever had precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the LORD, into the hand of Jehiel (This name means God lives ) the Gershonite (This name Gershonite means men of a walled valley.). 9 Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the LORD; and King David also rejoiced greatly. It is important to understand that the number 1,000 is a testimony to the Way of Overcoming. It is the sum of 10 3, or you can see it as: 10 X 10 X 10. The number 10 is the perfection of the earth that is multiplied of itself in the same manner as the number of His Spirit the number 3. We talked last night about the number 18 that is famously associated to the woman that the Lord shamed the teachers with when He healed her from her infirmities on the Sabbath after she had it for 18 years. It is the number of the double witness of completion to that which makes for Life and freedom from Sin. Luke 13: Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 AND BEHOLD, THERE WAS A WOMAN WHO HAD A SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY EIGHTEEN YEARS, AND WAS BENT OVER AND COULD IN NO WAY RAISE HERSELF UP. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, "There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day." 15 THE LORD THEN ANSWERED HIM AND SAID, "HYPOCRITE! DOES NOT EACH ONE OF YOU ON THE SABBATH LOOSE HIS OX OR DONKEY FROM THE STALL, AND LEAD IT AWAY TO WATER IT? 16 SO OUGHT NOT THIS WOMAN, BEING A DAUGHTER OF ABRAHAM, WHOM SATAN HAS BOUND THINK OF IT FOR EIGHTEEN YEARS, BE LOOSED FROM THIS BOND ON THE SABBATH?" 17 And Page No.: 8

when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him. The Number 1000 Factors: 10 x 10 x 10 He who overcomes (Revelation 3:12) THE NUMBER 18 Factors: 2 x 9 Alive, Living Of the Lord Sin, Sinner [Strong s # H2400] All the House of Israel (Acts 2:36) My Beloved (Proverbs 8:21) The LORD is gracious and righteous (Psalm 116:5) My Beloved (Songs of Solomon 7:13) You are sons (Galatians 4:6) Rinse, Wash [Strong s # H1740] Believe! (John 4:21) Fishhook [Strong s # H1729] For I keep thy precepts (Psalm 119:100) Enmity, Hatred [Strong s #H0342] Shuddering [Strong s # 8606] All who do evil (Malachi 4:1) Fire and Brimstone (Psalm 11:6) Trembling [Strong s #7578] Revelation 3: Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 HE WHO OVERCOMES, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. 13 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." Page No.: 9

Consider David's Praise to God ad his request to the Lord to give his son a loyal heart. It is the best we can do. 1 Chronicles 29: Therefore David blessed the LORD before all the assembly; and David said: "Blessed are You, LORD God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever. 11 YOURS, O LORD, IS THE GREATNESS, THE POWER AND THE GLORY, THE VICTORY AND THE MAJESTY; FOR ALL THAT IS IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH IS YOURS; YOURS IS THE KINGDOM, O LORD, AND YOU ARE EXALTED AS HEAD OVER ALL. 12 BOTH RICHES AND HONOR COME FROM YOU, AND YOU REIGN OVER ALL. In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. 13 "Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your Glorious Name. 14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, and of Your own we have given You. 15 FOR WE ARE ALIENS AND PILGRIMS BEFORE YOU, AS WERE ALL OUR FATHERS; OUR DAYS ON EARTH ARE AS A SHADOW, AND WITHOUT HOPE. (This is revealing the depth of meaning, for the Kingdom of Satan in the 2 nd Heaven is called the Shadow of Death. Satan is ruling over this world and with his rule there is no hope, for satan has none of God s Truth in him, and therefore it means that none of the works of God are given to the authority of satan. In Psalm 33:4 we are told by David that all His Words are done in Truth.) 16 "O LORD OUR GOD, ALL THIS ABUNDANCE THAT WE HAVE PREPARED TO BUILD YOU A HOUSE FOR YOUR HOLY NAME IS FROM YOUR HAND, AND IS ALL YOUR OWN. (Consider this carefully and you see that all His Works are in Truth and thus all this is of His Words Psalm 33:4 and Psalm 119:142.) 17 I KNOW ALSO, MY GOD, THAT YOU TEST THE HEART AND HAVE PLEASURE IN UPRIGHTNESS. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You. 18 O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You. 19 AND GIVE MY SON SOLOMON A LOYAL HEART TO KEEP YOUR COMMANDMENTS AND YOUR TESTIMONIES AND YOUR STATUTES, TO DO ALL THESE THINGS, AND TO BUILD THE TEMPLE FOR WHICH I HAVE MADE PROVISION." 20 Then David said to all the assembly, "Now bless the LORD your God." So all the assembly blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed their heads and prostrated themselves before the LORD and the king. Solomon was then anointed King and started out wisely. (1 Kin. 1:38 40; 2:12) 1 Chronicles 29: And they made sacrifices to the LORD and offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the next day: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel. 22 So they ate and drank before the LORD with great gladness on that day. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him before the LORD to be the leader, and Zadok to be priest. 23 THEN SOLOMON SAT ON THE THRONE OF THE LORD AS KING INSTEAD OF DAVID HIS FATHER, AND PROSPERED; AND ALL ISRAEL OBEYED HIM. 24 All the leaders and the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David, submitted themselves to King Solomon. 25 So the LORD exalted Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel. The Close of David's Reign 1 Chronicles 29: Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel. 27 And the period that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and thirty-three years he reigned in Jerusalem. 28 So he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place. 29 Now the acts of King David, first and last, indeed they Page No.: 10

are written in the book of Samuel the seer, in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer, 30 with all his reign and his might, and the events that happened to him, to Israel, and to all the kingdoms of the lands. Now consider Solomon s great wealth and the way of it. (1 Kings 10:14 29; 2 Chronicles 1:14 17) 2 Chronicles 9: The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold, 14 besides what the traveling merchants and traders brought. And all the kings of Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon. 15 And King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; six hundred shekels of hammered gold went into each shield. 16 HE ALSO MADE THREE HUNDRED SHIELDS OF HAMMERED GOLD; THREE HUNDRED SHEKELS OF GOLD WENT INTO EACH SHIELD. THE KING PUT THEM IN THE HOUSE OF THE FOREST OF LEBANON.(Three hundred is the Gematria number for the Spirit of God.) 17 MOREOVER THE KING MADE A GREAT THRONE OF IVORY, AND OVERLAID IT WITH PURE GOLD. 18 THE THRONE HAD SIX STEPS, WITH A FOOTSTOOL OF GOLD, WHICH WERE FASTENED TO THE THRONE; THERE WERE ARMRESTS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE PLACE OF THE SEAT, AND TWO LIONS STOOD BESIDE THE ARMRESTS. 19 Twelve lions stood there, one on each side of the six steps; nothing like this had been made for any other kingdom. 20 All King Solomon's drinking vessels were gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Not one was silver, for this was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon. 21 For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram. Once every three years the merchant ships came, bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and monkeys. 22 So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom. 23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. 24 Each man brought his present: articles of silver and gold, garments, armor, spices, horses, and mules, at a set rate year by year. 25 Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem. 26 So he reigned over all the kings from the River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. 27 The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedar trees as abundant as the sycamores which are in the lowland. 28 And they brought horses to Solomon from Egypt and from all lands. This number 666 is the number value of such phrases as He who made the earth, wealth, profit, and, like God. But it is also the Gematria number value of to turn away, a dwelling place of dragons, and the verse of Amos 5:18 The Day of the LORD is darkness, not light. Thus, you can see that it is a the eternal decision of man the number of man s choice of the Way he will live.) 15 besides that from the traveling merchants, from the income of traders, from all the kings of Arabia, and from the governors of the country. 16 And King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; six hundred shekels of gold went into each shield. 17 He also made three hundred shields of hammered gold; three minas of gold went into each shield. The king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon. 18 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold. 19 The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round at the back; there were armrests on either side of the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the armrests. 20 Twelve lions stood there, one on each side of the six steps; nothing like this had been made for any other kingdom. 21 All King Solomon's drinking vessels were gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Not one was silver, for this was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon. 22 For the king had merchant ships at sea with the fleet of Hiram. Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. More.. 2 Chronicles 1: Now Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him and exalted him exceedingly. 2 And Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to every leader in all Israel, the heads of the fathers' houses. 3 Then Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for the tabernacle of meeting with God was there, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness. 4 But David had brought up the ark of God from Kirjath-Jearim (This name means city of woods. This is a name given to the place where the ark had been prior to David leaving it on the threshing floor of the house of Obed-Edom, the Gittite. The name Obed-Edom means, the servant of Edom, while the Hittite means men of Gath, or men of the wine-press.), TO THE PLACE DAVID HAD PREPARED FOR IT, FOR HE HAD PITCHED A TENT FOR IT AT JERUSALEM. 5 Now the bronze altar that

Page No.: 14 Notes for Dec. 27, 2010, Teleconference Bible Study with Floyd E. Taylor Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD; Solomon and the assembly sought Him there. 6 And Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it. 7 On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, "Ask! What shall I give you?" 8 And Solomon said to God: "You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place. 9 Now, O LORD God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. 10 Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?" 11 Then God said to Solomon: "Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king 12 wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like." Solomon's Military and Economic Power (1 Kin. 10:26 29; 2 Chr. 9:25 28) 2 Chronicles 1: So Solomon came to Jerusalem from the high place that was at Gibeon, from before the tabernacle of meeting, and reigned over Israel. 14 And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 15 Also the king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as abundant as the sycamores which are in the lowland. 16 And Solomon had horses imported from Egypt and Keveh; the king's merchants bought them in Keveh at the current price. 17 They also acquired and imported from Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for one hundred and fifty; thus, through their agents, they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria. Consider again the story of the Queen of Sheba and how it is today. 1 Kings 10: NOW WHEN THE QUEEN OF SHEBA(This name Sheba means an oath, so you can say she is likened to a Queen is search of the Truth.) HEARD OF THE FAME OF SOLOMON CONCERNING THE NAME OF THE LORD, SHE CAME TO TEST HIM WITH HARD QUESTIONS. 2 SHE CAME TO JERUSALEM WITH A VERY GREAT RETINUE, WITH CAMELS THAT BORE SPICES, VERY MUCH GOLD, AND PRECIOUS STONES; AND WHEN SHE CAME TO SOLOMON, SHE SPOKE WITH HIM ABOUT ALL THAT WAS IN HER HEART. (It is clear that she asked of everything science, religion, power, etc., but understand that she came bearing gifts, for in her heart she recognized that if this was true, then the value of these Words of God are greater than any treasure on earth, and sweeter than any gift that is possible to receive.) 3 SO SOLOMON ANSWERED ALL HER QUESTIONS; THERE WAS NOTHING SO DIFFICULT FOR THE KING THAT HE COULD NOT EXPLAIN IT TO HER. 4 AND WHEN THE QUEEN OF SHEBA HAD SEEN ALL THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON, THE HOUSE THAT HE HAD BUILT, 5 THE FOOD ON HIS TABLE, THE SEATING OF HIS SERVANTS, THE SERVICE OF HIS WAITERS AND THEIR APPAREL, HIS CUPBEARERS, AND HIS ENTRYWAY BY WHICH HE WENT UP TO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, THERE WAS NO MORE SPIRIT IN HER. 6 THEN SHE SAID TO THE KING: "IT WAS A TRUE REPORT WHICH I HEARD IN MY OWN LAND ABOUT YOUR WORDS AND YOUR WISDOM. 7 HOWEVER I DID NOT BELIEVE THE WORDS UNTIL I CAME AND SAW WITH MY OWN EYES; AND INDEED THE HALF WAS NOT TOLD ME. YOUR WISDOM AND PROSPERITY EXCEED THE FAME OF WHICH I HEARD. 8 HAPPY ARE YOUR MEN AND HAPPY ARE THESE YOUR SERVANTS, WHO STAND CONTINUALLY BEFORE YOU AND HEAR YOUR WISDOM! 9 BLESSED BE THE LORD YOUR GOD, WHO DELIGHTED IN

YOU, SETTING YOU ON THE THRONE OF ISRAEL! BECAUSE THE LORD HAS LOVED ISRAEL FOREVER, THEREFORE HE MADE YOU KING, TO DO JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS." 10 THEN SHE GAVE THE KING ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY TALENTS OF GOLD, SPICES IN GREAT QUANTITY, AND PRECIOUS STONES. (This number 120 is the symbol of The Pillar of Perfection, or The Pillar of Strength, for she found that the Power of God is in His Words.) THERE NEVER AGAIN CAME SUCH ABUNDANCE OF SPICES AS THE QUEEN OF SHEBA GAVE TO KING SOLOMON. 11 Also, the ships of Hiram (This name means a exaltation of Life ), which brought gold from Ophir (This name means a fruitful place ), brought great quantities of almug wood and precious stones from Ophir. 12 And the king made steps of the almug wood for the house of the LORD and for the king's house, also harps and stringed instruments for singers. There never again came such almug wood, nor has the like been seen to this day. 13 Now King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired, whatever she asked, besides what Solomon had given her according to the royal generosity. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants. The number 120 is symbolic of the Pillar of Perfection: The Number 120 Samek (15th Letter) Uphold, Support (Judges 16.29) Pillar [Strong s # 5982] Perfection [Strong s # 4359] Strength [Strong s # 2393] Congregation (Exodus 27.21) Store Up, Save [Strong s # 3647] Tribute, Tax [Strong s # 4371] Page No.: 15

2 Chronicles 9: Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with hard questions, having a very great retinue, camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart. 2 So Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing so difficult for Solomon that he could not explain it to her. 3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, 4 the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit in her. 5 Then she said to the king: "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom. 6 However I did not believe their words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You exceed the fame of which I heard. 7 Happy are your men and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom! 8 Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, setting you on His throne to be king for the LORD your God! Because your God has loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness." 9 And she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, spices in great abundance, and precious stones; there never were any spices such as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon. 10 Also, the servants of Hiram and the servants of Solomon, who brought gold from Ophir, brought algum wood and precious stones. 11 And the king made walkways of the algum wood for the house of the LORD and for the king's house, also harps and stringed instruments for singers; and there were none such as these seen before in the land of Judah. 12 Now King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all she desired, whatever she asked, much more than she had brought to the king. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants. Page No.: 16

You may remember that the Lord recants David s testimony of Him that is recorded in Psalm 110:1, that Jesus is the Lord that sits beside His Lord. And yet David says that Jesus is of the seed of David. The Lord s statement is referred to in four books of the Bible including the book of Acts. Psalm 50:1-6 1 The Mighty One, God the LORD, has spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down. 2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth. 3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous all around Him. 4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people: 5 "Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice." 6 Let the heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. Selah Psalm 50: "Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you; I am God, your God! 8 I will not rebuke you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, which are continually before Me. 9 I will not take a bull from your house, nor goats out of your folds. 10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. 11 I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. 12 "If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness. 13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. 15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me." 16 But to the wicked God says: "What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, 17 seeing you hate instruction and cast My Words behind you? 18 When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have been a partaker with adulterers. 19 You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit. 20 You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son. 21 These things you have done, and I kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you; but I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes. 22 "NOW CONSIDER THIS, YOU WHO FORGET GOD, LEST I TEAR YOU IN PIECES, AND THERE BE NONE TO DELIVER: (This is important when you consider His Warning of Matthew 24:20 and Mark 13:18). 23 Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God." The Heritage of the Righteous and the Calamity of the Wicked Psalm 37: Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do Good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the Light, and your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret it only causes harm. 9 FOR EVILDOERS SHALL BE CUT OFF; BUT THOSE WHO WAIT ON THE LORD, THEY SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH. 10 FOR YET A LITTLE WHILE AND THE WICKED SHALL BE NO MORE; INDEED, YOU WILL LOOK CAREFULLY FOR HIS PLACE, BUT IT SHALL BE NO MORE. 11 BUT THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH, AND SHALL DELIGHT THEMSELVES IN THE ABUNDANCE OF peace. (Wonderful promises in verse 9-11, for this is about to come to completion, as we are now in the Year of His Recompense that started at Rosh Hashanah in September The Bible reveals that within this year this will be completed.) 12 THE WICKED PLOTS AGAINST THE JUST, Page No.: 17

AND GNASHES AT HIM WITH HIS TEETH. (The teeth in this case is the symbol of the Words of their mind being formed for evil. The teeth are likened to the recorded Word. When the Lord gives a tooth and says to become part of His Threshing Sledge, He is saying to be a doer of the recorded instruction of God s Words.) 13 The Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his Day is coming. 14 THE WICKED HAVE DRAWN THE SWORD AND HAVE BENT THEIR BOW, TO CAST DOWN THE POOR AND NEEDY, TO SLAY THOSE WHO ARE OF UPRIGHT CONDUCT (The Lord told us that in this Day they will do this Mt. 24:20 and Mk. 13:18.). 15 THEIR SWORD SHALL ENTER THEIR OWN HEART, AND THEIR BOWS SHALL BE BROKEN (The Lord is saying that the words that they have spoken will be the punishment that comes upon them. In other words, when Prince Philip of the UK said that he wanted to return as a virus to kill 95% of the people upon the earth, then it is likely that the Lord is going to destroy him with terrible viruses so that all the world will know of his wicked end. Likewise, when Henry Kissinger said that military men are just worthless pawns to be used for the purposes of the elite, then it is likely that his death will come by torture from the hands of many former military men who were under his hand. When Obama allowed people to call him to be like a god, then it is likely that the Lord will strike him in the same manner that he struck King Herod wherein he was suddenly stricken and eaten from the inside out by worms. Likewise when the Rothschild family say that they are like a god over the earth and that they can do what they will without the fear of the armies and peoples of a nation, then their children are likely to see the same reduction to eating grass like the cattle in the field as like occurred to King Nebuchadnezzar.) 16 A LITTLE THAT A RIGHTEOUS MAN HAS IS BETTER THAN THE RICHES OF MANY WICKED. (This is a very important instruction to us of this Day, for the Lord is saying that it is better to go into Battle with His Words and His Promises of Good Works that the Father placed within His Words, than to have any of the weapons and laws made by the arms of man, for in verse 17 He reveals that all these weapons and works of man for evil and for power, shall be destroyed and cut off. Their missiles are going to cease and their weapons will not fire, when those who Love Him become hearers and doers of His Words.) 17 FOR THE ARMS OF THE WICKED SHALL BE BROKEN, BUT THE LORD UPHOLDS THE RIGHTEOUS. 18 The LORD knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever (We are now in the Appointed Time when the Righteous shall receive their inheritance of the Kingdom of God.). 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 But the wicked shall perish; and the enemies of the LORD, like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away. 21 The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous shows mercy and gives. 22 For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off. 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his descendants are blessed. 27 Depart from evil, and do Good; and dwell forevermore. (This is such a wonderful Promise of the Lord.) 28 For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever (Consider what He has just revealed very carefully, and you will see your future that is at hand if you will be persistent to seek His Words and to do the Ways of His Words.), nut the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever. (Here is the promise of the fulfillment of Daniel 2:44 that is now at hand, for it is for this very day the Year of His Recompense the Year that He brings forth His Elect to Light and turns them into children of God the Saints of the Most High God.) 30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice. 31 The Law of his God is in his heart (In Psalm 119:142 it becomes clear that this Law is to be a hearer of His Words and then fgoing Page No.: 18

forth to be a doer of His Words.); none of his steps shall slide. 32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him. 33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 34 Wait on the LORD, and keep His Way (We are to be hearers of His Words and then be doers of the Ways of Good so that we can to enable Him to do His Good Works for others and for the brining forth of His Kingdom of Light.), and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. 35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a native green tree. 36 Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more; indeed I sought him, but he could not be found. 37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace. 38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him. I would like to review John 8 because it is interesting thought of the Way of the Lord in this Day in our choice of whether we will decide to be like Him. Consider how He answers. But, especially how He does the Way of His Words to cause an answer and overcome the accusers. We need to be like this and to do likewise to help those accused, for this day He will accept all those who call upon His Name. John 8: But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, "Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?" 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. 7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" 11 She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." 12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." Jesus Defends His Self-Witness John 8: The Pharisees therefore said to Him, "You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true." 14 Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. 15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. 17 It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me." 19 Then they said to Him, "Where is Your Father?" Jesus answered, "You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known Page No.: 19

My Father also." 20 These Words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come. Jesus Predicts His Departure John 8: Then Jesus said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come." 22 So the Jews said, "Will He kill Himself, because He says, 'Where I go you cannot come'?" 23 And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." 25 Then they said to Him, "Who are You?" And Jesus said to them, "Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. 26 I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him." 27 They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father. (Consider what was just said and you can see that John is saying that the judgment is by whether or not we have heard, we have received, we have believed, and that we have become a keeper of the Words of the Father a doer of His Words - when He caused His Words to be offered to us. Remember that the Queen of the South is going to stand up in judgment against all those of this Day of the Lord, who, when they heard of these Words did not immediately then discern that they must do all that they can to come and hear of the knowledge of His Words. The Queen of the South left her nobility and came to ask of these questions, and she gave nearly the wealth of her nation to receive of this knowledge. She then received more in return than what she gave. But, the key point is that the people in America who have heard of these Words will not even join a conference call to hear of this knowledge. Even the poorest of the Muslims will make a pilgrimage and travel to Mecca at least once in their life time. I believe if they heard of these Words they would be far more zealous to come and seek out this knowledge.) 28 Then Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. 29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him." 30 As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. The Truth Shall Make You Free John 8: Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." 33 They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, 'You will be made free'?" 34 Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Abraham's Seed and Satan's John 8: "I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father." 39 They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 You do the deeds of your Page No.: 20

father." Then they said to Him, "We were not born of fornication; we have one Father God." 42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God." Before Abraham Was, I AM John 8: Then the Jews answered and said to Him, "Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?" 49 Jesus answered, "I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death." 52 Then the Jews said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.' 53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?" 54 Jesus answered, "If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. 55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, 'I do not know Him,' I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." 57 Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" 58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." 59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. 22 Now consider Solomon records that seeking all the pleasures of this life are vain and in the end they are of nothing but vanity. For both the wise of men and the fool of men are worthless without walking in the Way of the Father under the Sun of God Jesus Christ (1 Kin. 4:20 28). Ecclesiastes 2: I said in my heart, "Come now, I will test you with mirth; therefore enjoy pleasure"; but surely, this also was vanity. 2 I said of laughter "Madness!"; and of mirth, "What does it accomplish?" 3 I searched in my heart how to gratify my flesh with wine, while guiding my heart with wisdom, and how to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was good for the sons of men to do under heaven all the days of their lives. 4 I made my works great, I built myself houses, and planted myself vineyards. 5 I made myself gardens and orchards, and I planted all kinds of fruit trees in them. 6 I made myself water pools from which to water the growing trees of the grove. 7 I acquired male and female servants, and had servants born in my house. Yes, I had greater possessions of herds and flocks than all who were in Jerusalem before me. 8 I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the special treasures of kings and of the provinces. I acquired male and female singers, the delights of the sons of men, and musical instruments of all kinds. 9 So I became great and excelled more than all who were before me in Jerusalem. Also my wisdom remained with me. 10 Whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them. I did not withhold my heart from any pleasure, for my heart rejoiced in all my labor; and this was my reward from all my labor. 11 THEN I LOOKED ON ALL THE WORKS THAT MY HANDS HAD DONE AND ON THE LABOR IN WHICH I HAD TOILED; and indeed all was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun. 12 Then I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly; for what can the man do who succeeds the king? Only what he has already done. 13 Then I saw that wisdom excels folly as light excels darkness. 14 The wise man's eyes are in his head, but the fool walks in darkness. Yet I myself perceived that the same event happens to them all. 15 So I said in my heart, "As it happens to the fool, it also happens to me, and why was I then more wise?" Then I said in my heart, "this also is vanity." 16 For there is no more remembrance of the wise than of the fool forever, since all that now is will be forgotten in the days to come. And how does a wise man die? As the fool! 17 Therefore I hated life because the work that was done under the sun was distressing to me, for all is vanity and grasping for the wind. 18 Then I hated all my labor in which I had toiled under the sun, because I must leave it to the man who will come after me. 19 And who knows whether he will be wise or a fool? Yet he will rule over all my labor in which I toiled and in which I have shown myself wise under the sun. This also is vanity. 20 Therefore I turned my heart and despaired of all the labor in which I had toiled under the sun. 21 For there is a man whose labor is with wisdom, knowledge, and skill; yet he must leave his heritage to a man who has not labored for it. This also is vanity and a great evil. 22 For what has man for all his labor, and for the striving of his heart with which he has toiled under the sun? 23 For all his days are sorrowful, and his work burdensome; even in the night his heart takes no rest. This also is vanity. 24 Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God. 25 For who can eat, or who can have enjoyment, more than I? 26 For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that He may give to him who is Good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. Page No.: 22
