Numbers: A prophet like Moses will lead them to the land The nation will reject the offer of the Kingdom (in the land) as they did at Kadesh-Barnea in the rejection of their leader. Yet God will raise up another generation to proceed into the land (kingdom) under a new leader, Joshua. 3:1 Therefore...consider Jesus... 2 He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was... 3 For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses... 5 Now Moses was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later; 6 but Christ was faithful as a Son...Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? 19 And so we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief. 2.
