8 10 EVENTS ABOUT TO OCCUR The Seal Judgments have concluded. The 144,000 Jewish Witnesses have been sealed for their protection. Some Bible scholars such as J. Vernon McGee and Merrill F. Unger see the conclusion of the Seal Judgments as the mid-point of the Tribulation because of the increasingly severe judgments that follow. 8

9 10 EVENTS ABOUT TO OCCUR This view is supported by the increased severity of judgments which follow the known mid-point of Matthew 24:15 and Daniel 9:27. Jesus described the increase of severity after the mid-point of Matthew 24:15 in His Olivet Discourse. So what can those remaining expect to see happen in short order in addition to more severe judgments? 9

10 10 EVENTS ABOUT TO OCCUR The Seal Judgments have run their course. The Trumpet Judgments are about to begin. With the Gog and Magog invasion Russia and the Muslim nations have been destroyed, and Israel has been spared. The Antichrist has had a difficult time consolidating his empire. 10

11 10 EVENTS ABOUT TO OCCUR Other scholars see the mid-point occurring after the Trumpet Judgments. I cannot say that they are wrong. The death of the two witnesses (Rev 11) and the definite appearance of the Antichrist and False Prophet (Rev 13) argues strongly in favor, and fits the chronological order to that point. Whichever it is, ten major events will occur, or begin to occur in short order. 11

16 THE SEVENTH SEAL REV 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 16 (Continued)

17 THE SEVENTH SEAL 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 17

18 THE SEVENTH SEAL The seventh seal unleashes judgments of increasing severity. Nothing is known about the reason for the silence. It may be that of awesome contemplation of the horrendous events about to unfold. 18

19 THE SEVENTH SEAL The following is quoted by J. Dwight Pentecost and is taken from William R. Newell's "THE REVELATION." But we find an especial use of the trumpet, in arousing to war the host of Jehovah against their enemies (Numbers 10:9). So with the seven angels. They blow the very trumpets of heaven against an earth become as it was in the days of Noah... as the days of Sodom, as Joshua and Israel blew the trumpets against Jericho. 19

20 THE SEVENTH SEAL It has been suggested by some that this "angel" is symbolic of our High Priest and Mediator Jesus Christ. But Jesus Christ when appearing in the Old Testament was never referred to as just an "angel," but as "the Angel of Jehovah," or "the Angel of God." It is more likely that this angel is, as the verse says, "another angel." 20

21 THE SEVENTH SEAL The martyred saints have been praying for 2000 years that God will avenge them. The casting of the censer, filled with fire of the altar, into the earth signifies that those on the earth are about to feel the fire of God's wrath. 21

23 THE TRUMPETS REV 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The events of the Trumpet Judgments are summarized as follows: The first four trumpets are referred to as War Trumpets. The last three trumpets are referred to as Woe Trumpets. 23

24 THE TRUMPETS THE WAR TRUMPETS (REV 8:1-13) First Trumpet - (The Brewing Storm) A storm of fire, hail, and blood on the earth. Second Trumpet - (The Boiling Sun) A great mountain burning with fire is cast into the sea. Third Trumpet - (The Banished Star) A burning star falls into the rivers and fountains of waters. Fourth Trumpet - (The Blackened Sky) The Sun, Moon, and Stars are darkened. 24

25 THE TRUMPETS THE WOE TRUMPETS (REV 9:1-12; 10:7; 11:15-19) Fifth Trumpet - (Misery Endured) The abyss is opened and evil spirits are let loose on the earth. Sixth Trumpet - (Mastery Ensured) Four angels are released from the Euphrates and a demonic army is released. Seventh Trumpet - (Mystery Ended) Ushers in God's direct and wrathful intervention in human affairs. 25

26 THE TRUMPETS Under the Seal Judgments we saw a world ruined by man together with natural disasters as God opened each seal. Now under the Trumpet Judgments we will see a world ruled by Satan. We now enter "the world of the weird, the occult, the Satanic." The Seal Judgments reduced the world to chaos in preparation for Satan's man, the Antichrist. 26

28 THE WAR TRUMPETS REV 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. This may reflect a literal disaster with a hailstorm of fire mingled with blood, or it could symbolically refer to a political upheaval affecting marine life and commerce. 28

29 THE WAR TRUMPETS In Hebrews we see "fiery indignation," of God as a consequence of man's continued rebellion. HEB 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 29

30 THE WAR TRUMPETS Lightening together with hail could account for this judgment. It may be that electrical discharges of a close fly-by of a comet could be intended. Volcanic eruptions on a world scale could also be meant. The mingled "blood" defies a naturalistic explanation other than blood colored water, so it may be more likely that the entire judgment may be best explained as supernatural. 30

31 THE WAR TRUMPETS This judgment will cause a third of the earth's vegetation to be destroyed. JOE 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. "Trees" in Scripture frequently symbolize kings and leaders. "Grass" refers to ordinary people. The old establishment is overrun to make way for the New World Order under the 31 Antichrist (Beast).

32 THE WAR TRUMPETS REV 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. This may be referencing an ecological disaster affecting marine life and commerce. 32

33 THE WAR TRUMPETS Notice the wording, "as it were," or "like" a great mountain. This was probably not an actual mountain. It might be referring to something like a meteorite, or asteroid. It will hit the sea and be more devastating and terrifying than a nuclear explosion. Great destruction of sea life will occur, and many mariners unfortunate enough to 33 be on ships will perish.

34 THE WAR TRUMPETS Sea life and commerce on the seas will be affected. Water may turn to blood by the multitude of dead creatures, or by the chemical, or bio-chemical, transformation of dead organisms into what we know as red tide. A parallel is found in Exodus. 34

35 THE WAR TRUMPETS EXO 7:20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. 21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. 35

36 THE WAR TRUMPETS God protected Israel during the exodus from Egypt and He will do it again for the remnant of Israel during the Tribulation. In prophecy a "mountain" stands for a great world power. This verse could symbolize a further upheaval among the nations. The Antichrist is described as "a beast out of the sea." 36

37 THE WAR TRUMPETS REV 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. He (a little horn; the Antichrist) will come to power in what is commonly referred to as the revived Roman Empire. He will emerge at a time when a ten-nation confederacy is formed. 37

38 THE WAR TRUMPETS He will subdue three of these and establish himself in power over the ten. Daniel describes a kingdom (a beast) with ten horns and another little horn : DAN 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 38

39 THE WAR TRUMPETS Notice that today some are thinking to divide the world into ten economic zones. Instead of a European confederacy this ten-nation confederacy could be a dividing of the world into ten regions as defined by the Club of Rome. Problems with the European Union theory today is that it seems to be breaking up and it contains more than 10 nations, but it eventually may prove to contain the ten 39 nations spoken of here.

40 THE WAR TRUMPETS The Ten Economic Regions of the Club of Rome may eventually prove to be the revived Roman Empire Remember that the world was subdued and populated by Colonial Empires formed after the breakup of the Roman Empire. A few of these Colonial Empires were the British, Dutch, Portuguese, and Spanish. The following is an early map of the proposal of the Club of Rome. 40

42 THE SEVENTH SEAL Much of it is already accomplished. The North American Union (NAU) has not been finalized. This NAU involves a merger of Canada, United States, and Mexico of which the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was the forerunner. It was a project of which the last Bush administration labored hard to complete. In order to bring about a NAU, economic equalization needs to be accomplished. 42

43 THE SEVENTH SEAL This is why manufacturing jobs moving to Mexico was not disturbing to U. S. leaders. A socialized single payer medical plan needs to be accomplished in the United States to produce parity between the three countries. Once economic and social parity is achieved then the countries can be merged. Uncontrolled open borders would help achieve the needed parity by helping to manage wages. The following map is a more recent rendering of what is to be accomplished to complete the 43 Club of Rome proposal.

45 THE WAR TRUMPETS Like the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderbergers, the media never tells you about the Club of Rome. The Club of Rome has the task of overseeing the regionalization and unification of the entire world. 45

46 THE WAR TRUMPETS The Rockefeller family has been connected to this organization, together with representatives of Planned Parenthood, officials of the United Nations, and people connected to the Rockefeller and Carnegie foundations. This organization could be said to be one level above the Bilderbergers. The purpose of the Bilderbergers is the regionalization of Europe. 46

47 THE WAR TRUMPETS Funding for this group was through, among others, the Rockefeller and Ford foundations. The goal of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is world government. Primary funding for the founding of the CFR came from J.P. Morgan, Bernard Baruch, Otto Kahn, Jacob Schiff, Paul Warburg, and John D. Rockefeller. This is the same group that was involved in the forming of the Federal Reserve. 47

48 THE WAR TRUMPETS The Reese Committee found that the CFR was being financed by both the Rockefeller and Carnegie foundations. The Reese Committee also found that the CFR "overwhelmingly propagandizes the globalist concept." The entire U.S. State Department, since the administration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, is usually controlled by CFR members. 48

49 THE WAR TRUMPETS In another parallel, notice that in Jeremiah 51:25 God refers to Babylon as a "destroying mountain" which "destroys all the earth." The Babylonian religious system has, since Nimrod and the Tower of Babel, been a corrupting influence on all nations. 49

50 THE WAR TRUMPETS JER 51:25 Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain. The corrupting religious systems of the world can be traced back to the time of Nimrod and his legendary wife Semiramis. 50

51 THE WAR TRUMPETS REV 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 51

52 THE WAR TRUMPETS As in the previous judgment we see here an intruder from space. It is a "star" burning as a lamp. It may be that this indicates that the particles striking earth will be in a molten form as the star disperses itself upon entering the atmosphere. Its chemicals will poison a third of the seas and rivers of the earth. 52

53 THE WAR TRUMPETS The Greek word translated "fountain" also means "well," so it refers to the subterranean water also. Many people will die from drinking the poisoned water. 53

54 THE WAR TRUMPETS "Wormwood" is a deadly liquor ingredient known as "absinthe," from the Greek word absinthos. In the Old Testament "wormwood" is a translation of the Hebrew word "laanah." The King James once translated the word as "hemlock." Ingesting the plant known as wormword is not normally fatal, but many will die from the poison from this star. 54

55 THE WAR TRUMPETS In Scripture, it is a symbol of bitterness, sorrow, calamity, and divine punishment (see Deuteronomy 29:18; Jeremiah 9:15; 23:15; Lamentations 3:15). Because the Jews were disobedient, God would feed His people wormwood. JER 9:13 And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law. (Continued) 55

56 THE WAR TRUMPETS 15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. 56

57 THE WAR TRUMPETS REV 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. This may refer to some upheaval in the heavens. 57

58 THE WAR TRUMPETS The heavenly light givers will somehow have their normal output reduced by a third. The word translated "third part" is a single word probably better understood as a third. There will be darker days and even darker nights. 58

59 THE WAR TRUMPETS ISA 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. AMO 8:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: 59

60 THE WAR TRUMPETS LUK 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Notice this parallel with the plagues of Egypt. 60

61 THE WAR TRUMPETS EXO 10:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. 22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. 61

63 THE WAR TRUMPETS REV 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! An angel now proclaims three "woes" on earth's inhabitants. This signifies that the next three trumpets are to be worse than the previous four. 63

64 THE WAR TRUMPETS The phrase inhabiters of the earth or earth dwellers is used throughout Scripture to indicate unbelievers, who are against God, particularly the followers of the Antichrist. 64
