1 Remember now thy Creator in thy days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them. Ecclesiastes 12:1

2 If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct Ecclesiastes 10:10

3 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:10,11

4 That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered...i know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him...consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? Ecclesiastes 1:15,3:14,7:13

5 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength... Isaiah 26:3,4

6 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent; even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. Isaiah 27:1

7 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD,and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever. Isaiah 34:16,40:8
