6 Look at this Blessed Man - 1 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. Genesis 11:31

7 Look at this Blessed Man - 2 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. 10 Lot Had Blessings & Opportunity Abraham became his protector after his father died. He was the beloved nephew of the Friend of God. His estate and household had grown considerably. His uncle let him choose where he wanted to live. He chose the most prosperous city and area around.

11 Lot had many blessings and opportunities.

12 Lot could be great.

13 But Here Is How Lot Ended Up! - 1 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father. Genesis 19:36

14 But Here Is How Lot Ended Up! - 2 He committed incest and impregnated two daughters. He was living in a cave with nothing of his estate. He lost his wife, three daughters, and their husbands. He lost his house, job, and reputation everything. He has been known as a loser for the last 4000 years.

15 How did this happen?

16 How could a man with so many blessings and opportunities fail so badly?

17 Lot Made This Terrible Choice 12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. Genesis 13:12-13

25 Did his life blow up in one day?

26 Did he choose in one day to lose everything and embrace incest?

27 Did he ever think in his wildest dreams he could end up as he did?

28 Godliness It Starts with a little Compromise Destruction

29 Godliness Just a little Compromise! Destruction

30 But sin is not happy with a little compromise tomorrow!

31 It wants a little more to get the same pleasure!

32 And guess what? Three enemies work against you!

33 Your flesh! The world! Satan!

34 Godliness Then Just a Little More Compromise! Destruction

35 The compromise is sweet and pleasant!

36 There is no judgment! There is no warning! There is no trouble! No one knows!

37 This little compromise is surely okay.

38 It is so sweet and pleasant!

39 It is so easy and comfortable

40 why did I ever fuss and worry about strict living like some?

41 Godliness Then Some More Compromise! Destruction

42 This is great! I can be a Christian and have a little fun, too!

43 Everything in my life is going very well!

44 God is not nearly as strict as some think He is.

45 I have more peace in my life right now than ever before!

46 Godliness Then More Compromise! Destruction

47 You now expect the pleasure you have allowed yourself.

48 Godliness More Compromise! Destruction

49 Your sin is now a habit!

50 You are addicted!

51 You cannot live without it!

52 You will sacrifice for it!

53 Godliness Much Compromise! Destruction

54 You are blinded!

55 You are hardened!

56 Your conscience can barely be heard!

57 You resent being told what to do or warned!

58 You plunge to deeper depths of the sin for there is nothing restraining you!

59 Life is good it is so much fun and success happens to you on many sides!

60 Life is good being a Christian playing with sin and reaping rewards!

61 Boom!

62 Your life falls apart in one big event

63 Or it falls apart in a succession of events.

64 You did it!

65 You destroyed your life it could have been great!

66 You destroyed yourself by playing with sin!
