2 Coronation of our King Many prophecies were given, about the day and return of our King let s look at these scriptures and see how important this season is in preparing for His return: Luke 1: 31 Behold, you will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you shall call His name Yeshua. [g] 32 He will be great and will be called Ben-Elyon. Adonai Elohim will give Him the throne of David, His father. 33 He shall reign over the house of Jacob for all eternity, and His kingdom will be without end. Isaiah 2: 2 It will come to pass in the last days that the mountain of Adonai s House will stand firm as head of the mountains and will be exalted above the hills. So all nations will flow to it.3 Then many peoples will go and say: Come, let us go up to the mountain of Adonai, to the House of the God of Jacob! Then He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For Torah will go forth from Zion and the word of Adonai from Jerusalem.

3 Coronation of our King Micah 4: 1 But at the end of days the mountain of Adonai s House will be established as chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills. Peoples will flow up to it.2 Then many nations will go and say: Come, let us go up to the mountain of Adonai, to the House of the God of Jacob! Then He will direct us in His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For Torah will go forth from Zion, and the word of Adonai from Jerusalem. ØThe term to walk - Halach or Halacha ØWhy do we bring up these three scriptures Yom Teruah, on the eve before the return of our Messiah will mark the beginning of Yeshua s reign over all of Israel. ØYom Teruah is the Coronation Ceremony of our King, before His return Lets go to Daniel and read about His Coronation:

4 Coronation of our King Daniel 7: 9 While I was watching, thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His garment was as white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, its wheels a burning fire. 10 A river of fire was flowing and coming out from before Him. Thousands of thousands attended Him and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.. I was watching in the night visions. Behold, One like a Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days, and was brought into His presence. 14 Dominion, glory and sovereignty were given to Him that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will never pass away, and His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

5 YHVH Calendar ØTo get an idea of when this will be, we have to look at How our Elohim see s time. Psalm 90: 4 For a thousand years in Your sight are like a day just passing by, or like a watch in the night. ØWe understand that in Genesis, creation was explained to come together in a Seven day period with that in mind the time of man, will also be like a seven day period. ØYeshua s first coming took place after 4000 years from the Fall of Adam. His return, should follow the same pattern: Hosea 6: 1 Come, let us return to Adonai. For He has torn, but He will heal us. He has smitten, but He will bind us up.2 After two days He will revive us. On the third day He will raise us up, and we will live in His presence.[a]3 So let us know, let us strive to know Adonai. Like dawn His going forth is certain. He will come to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth. ØThis is a direct reference that after two days He will return, and on the third day, at the end of the Millennial kingdom there will be the resurrection of the dead.

6 Two Calendars So, after 6 days He will return and reign for a thousand years. The next question, is when will this happen? In Hosea, the prophet speaks of the former and latter rains: 1. Former rains are rains of the fall 2. Latter rains are the rains of the spring. To complete understand this, we must understand that our Elohim has two Calendars both complement each other Exodus 12: 2 This month will mark the beginning (Rosh) of months (chodesh) for you; it is to be the first month of the year (Shana) for you. This is called Aviv, or now Nissan the beginning of Spring marks the beginning of the year. Remember Passover is celebrated on the 14 th of Nissan.

7 Two Calendars Leviticus 23: 23 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 24 Speak to the people of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe a day of complete rest, a holy convocation commemorated with trumpet blasts. The Former rains are connected to the Fall Feast, and in particular the Feast of Trumpets. Yeshua s second coming will be fulfilled during this season. The latter rains were connected to the Spring Feast, and in particular the Feast of Passover which was His first coming, was marked by His Resurrection. How do we know this, let s look at Joel 2:

8 Two Calendars Joel 2: 23 Be glad, people of Tziyon! rejoice in ADONAI your God! For he is giving you the right amount of rain in the fall, he makes the rain come down for you, the fall and spring rains this is what he does first. 24 Then the floors will be full of grain and the vats overflow with wine and olive oil. 25 I will restore to you the years that the locusts ate, the grasshoppers, shearer-worms and cutter-worms, my great army that I sent against you. 26 You will eat until you are satisfied and will praise the name of ADONAI your God, who has done with you such wonders. Then my people will never again be shamed. 27 You will know that I am with Isra el and that I am ADONAI your God, and that there is no other. Then my people will never again be shamed. ØHere in Joel, we see that the Restoration of Israel will happen in the former rains.

9 Two Calendars So the calendar year is marked by the beginning of Aviv (Nissan), but the Administrative year begins on the 1 st day of the Seventh month let s look at a couple scriptures to show how this is established: 1 Kings 8: 1 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel all the heads of the tribes and the ancestral chieftains of the children of Israel to King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring the ark of the covenant of Adonai up from the city of David, which is Zion. 2 All the men of Israel assembled themselves to King Solomon at the Feast in the month of Ethanim, which is the seventh month. Biblically the name of the first month is Aviv, now called Nissan, while the Seventh month is called Ethanim now called Tishrei.

10 Two Calendars ØIn Leviticus 25, the establishment of the Sabbatical year, and the Jubilee began in the month of Ethanim the formal establishment of this began on the 10 th day of Ethanim. ØIt was while in Egypt, the beginning of the plagues began at this time, and for seven months, Egypt was punished until the death of the first born, which took place on the 14 th of Aviv. ØTo sum this up, the first of Ethanim (now called Tishrei), marks the Head of the new administrative year, with the Former rains. The freeing of captives, and the restoration of Israel will coincide with the Former rains as mentioned in Joel chapter 2.

12 Calendar Controversy At Mt. Sinai, YHVH established an order of leadership. Eldership of 70 men was put into place to lift the burden of Moses in all judicial manners. This body of 70 plus 1 is called the Sanhedrin. In the beginning, Moses acted as the plus one, then it was passed on to the sons of Aaron, in particular through the line of Pinchas. With the rise of Kingship, the Kings of Israel took of this position. When the Priesthood was corrupted during the Hasmonean period the plus one went back to some one who was appointed, and generally it came from the sons of Aaron, until it was completely dismantled in the 4 th century.

13 Calendar Controversy In Exodus 12: 1 all appointed times and feast must be marked according to the celestial bodies, ie the Moon and the Sun. Since according to YHVH s calendar, New Moons -- the first visible crescent of the New Moon -- is the beginning of a new Biblical month, and must be sighted from Jerusalem, The months are set by the sighting of the moon, while the day is set by the sun. Up until the 4 th century, a system of witnesses was established, and once two to three witnesses gave the exact time of the sighting - the Nassi or the Head of the Sanhedrin would mark the new moon, and the beginning of the month. By 350 AD(CE) 98 percent of most Jewish, or Exiles, had been dispersed to the four corners of the Earth. It became impossible to keep the feast at the set times prescribed in Torah. The last Sanhedrin established a set calendar until the time that they would return and go back to the system of witnesses. - This will most likely come back some time next year. - This would bring unity between the current rabbinical order, and the Karaite's. Until then we here at Shiloh, have chosen to keep in order with our brother Judah, in what 90 percent of us who choose to keep Yah s feast on the last set Calendar.

14 Names of the Feast

15 Names of the Feast As many of you know, our brother Judah primarily refers to the feast of Rosh Hashana. Scripture however has several names for the feast. Numbers 29: 1 On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a sacred assembly. You are to do no laborious work. It is for you a day for sounding the shofar (YOM TERUAH). (TLV) Numbers 29: 1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you it is a day of blowing the trumpets. (NKJV) In either translation, we get the name day of Teruah or soundings.

16 Names of the Feast Another name for this Feast is Yom HaKiseh (day of concealment). When Yeshua spoke of His return He uses a unique Hebrew idiom, that His Apostles would have understood: Matthew 24: 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (KJV) - When someone say s no one knows the hour or the day this is the only other feast marked my the new moon. Requiring the witnesses, which we spoke of earlier. For 2300 years, we have used a set calendar. Karaites and Rabbi s have argued over the calendar. Millions of believers, don t understand about Yah s feast. To complicate it even more, the Anti-Messiah is going to establish his own calendar. not knowing the day or the hour is a Hebrew idiom referring to the Feast of the New Moons, and specifically to Yom Teruah, now also called Yom HaKiseh the Day of Concealment. Our Messiah gave us a clue to His return!

17 Names of the Feast Psalms 81: 4 Blow the shofar at the New Moon, at the full moon for the day of our festival.5 For it is a decree for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob. In Hebrew it says blow the shofar on the day of renewal and concealment. It uses a term called Ba-keseh loosely translated as on the chair in modern Hebrew biblical Hebrew the word for chair or Keseh is a reference to the throne, and the canopy that covers, or conceals the throne of the Kings of David. This gives a specific meaning to this season, since all Kings of Judah were inaugurated on Yom Teruah or the day of Concealment. Remember, the moon is concealed until a witness sees the sliver and then brings their testimony before the 70 plus 1.

18 Names of the Feast Exodus 19: 9 Adonai said to Moses, I am about to come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people will hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. Then Moses told the words of the people to Adonai. 16 In the morning of the third day, there was thundering[a] and lightning, a thick cloud on the mountain, and the blast of an exceedingly loud shofar. All the people in the camp trembled. 17 Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the lowest part of the mountain. 18 Now the entire Mount Sinai was in smoke, because Adonai had descended upon it in fire. The smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace. The whole mountain quaked greatly. 19 When the sound of the shofar grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him with a thunderous sound. ØThe people of Israel spoke Covenant before YHVH with the sounding of Shofars, he came down out of the conealment of the cloud and YHVH became the King over all of Israel. ØThis event mentioned here is a shadow of the future enthronement ceremony of Yeshua.

20 Feast of New Moons The Feast of Trumpets, and the Feast of the New Moons (Yom Chodesh) in the Seventh month fall on the same day. Of all the appointed feast, to include the Sabbath, all Feasts have been observed for centuries except the Feast of the New Moon. Did you know that this Feast, is a shadow of a Feast between a King and His Bride. In the Book of Genesis, we have a very interesting dream, which Joseph tells his Father.

21 Feast of New Moons Genesis 37: 9 But then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers, saying, I have just dreamed another dream. Suddenly, there was the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowing down to me! 10 He told it to his father as well as his brothers. Then his father rebuked him and said to him, What s this dream you dreamed? Will we really come your mother and I with your brothers to bow down to the ground to you? 11 So his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the speech in mind. Joseph kept his thoughts to himself, clearly seeing the prophetic meaning behind the dream however, Rachel who had passed on years ago was associated with the moon. From then on, the Feast of the New Moon, and the women of Israel became associated with this feast. This would become a shadow of Israel as the bride, waiting for the return of her King and groom on Yom Teruah (announcing His coming) and Tabernacles being the wedding ceremony.

22 Feast of New Moons Psalms 45: 2 My heart is stirred with a good word. I speak my verses to the king. My tongue is the pen of a skillful writer. 3 You are the most handsome of the sons of men. Grace pours from your lips. Therefore God has blessed you forever. 4 Gird your sword on your thigh, O mighty one, In your splendor and your majesty. 5 In your majesty ride victoriously, on behalf of truth, meekness and justice. Let your right hand display awesome things.. 14 All glorious is the king s daughter within the palace her gown is interwoven with gold. 15 She will be led to the king in embroidered garments. Her virgins, her companions following her, are coming in to you.16 They are led in with joy and gladness they enter into the palace of the king. This is King David speaking of a future ceremony of Israel the bride, and their King coming to take the throne and His bride.

23 Feast of New Moons One of the reasons for His bride to go back to keeping the New Moons, is these are dress rehearsals for the bride. We Honor our future King, in preparing ourselves for His Arrival. A day will come where our King will be Coronated and no longer will He be concealed from us.

24 Bride and the Bridegroom Matthew 25: 1 Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. [a] 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 For when the foolish ones took their lamps, they took no oil with them. 4 But the wise ones took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 Now while the bridegroom was taking a long time, they all got drowsy and started falling asleep. 6 But in the middle of the night there was a shout, Look, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him! 7 Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. 8 Now the foolish ones said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, since our lamps are going out. 9 But the wise ones replied, No, there won t be enough for us and for you. Instead, go to those who sell, and buy some for yourselves.

25 Bride and the Bridegroom 10 But while they were going off to buy, the bridegroom came. And those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. 11 Now later, the other virgins came, saying, Sir, Sir, open up for us! 12 But he replied, Amen, I tell you, I do not know you. 13 Therefore stay alert, for you know neither the day nor the hour. ØNow after understanding the Hebrew idiom, doesn t it change the way you look at this verse. ØSo how do I have enough oil, for the great wedding feast?

26 Bride and the Bridegroom 2 Corinthians 11: 2 For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I betrothed you to one husband, to present you to Messiah as a pure virgin. [a] 3 But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your minds might be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion and purity to the Messiah. 4 For if someone comes and proclaims another Yeshua whom we did not proclaim, or if you receive a different spirit that you did not receive, or a different good news that you did not accept, you put up with that well enough! ØIt s more than keeping the Feast. There will be many who will keep the feast and the Shabbat s. But if you turn from Messiah, the Bridegroom, the door will be shut. ØAs we end today, I want to talk about the Books in Heaven :

I ve read this many times, right before the following event takes place:

29 The Books in Heaven 1 Thessalonians 4: 14 For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, so with Him God will also bring those who have fallen asleep in Yeshua. [e] 15 For this we tell you, by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself shall come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the blast of God s shofar, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left behind, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so we shall always be with the Lord.

30 The Books in Heaven At the Coronation ceremony on the Feast of Trumpets Books will be opened. The first book is called the Book of the Remembrance or Yom hazikaron Malachi 4: 6 Then those who revere Adonai spoke with each other, and Adonai took notice and heard, and a scroll of remembrance[f] was written before Him, for those who revere Adonai, even those who esteem His Name. 17 So they shall be Mine, says Adonai-Tzva ot in the day I make My own special possession. So I will spare them, as one spares his son serving him. 18 Then you will return and distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him. This is the Bride this is the 5 virgins who were prepared. As Apostle Paul says in Thessalonians you didn t deny Messiah, and held firm throughout all time for Yeshua. This includes the dead in Messiah, and the ones alive, who will be caught up. This leaves two other books, those who are righteous, and those who are wicked.

31 The Books in Heaven The next book is referred in Judaism as The Sefer Bainonim (those in between). If those from the Book of Remembrance are going to distinguish between the righteous and the wicked they will placed into another book. Psalm 69: 28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; let them not be enrolled among the righteous. At some point, all will be placed in this book. In Torah we find it also called the following: Exodus 32: 32 But now, if you will forgive their sin but if not, please blot me out of your book that you have written. What book was Moses referring to?

32 The Books in Heaven Revelation 13: 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. Revelation 20: 5 And if anyone s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. ØAt some point, only those written in the Book of the Living, or Book of Life will spend eternity with our King. ØAn was sent to me today is there eternal punishment, and a Lake of Fire? Even though this is sermon all to itself there will be a separation between the righteous and the Wicked. ØThe wicked will be blotted out of the Book of the living and placed in a book that in Judaism they refer to as Sefer Rashi or Book of the Evil ones.

33 The Books in Heaven Matthew 10: 14 And whoever will not receive you or listen to your words, as you leave that house or that town, shake the dust off your feet. 15 Amen, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the Day of Judgment than for that town. 2 Peter 2: 9 Therefore the Lord certainly knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and how to keep the unrighteous being punished until the Day of Judgment.

34 The Books in Heaven Matthew 25: 31 Now when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. [c] 33 And He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on His left.. 41 Then He will also say to those on the left, Go away from Me, you cursed ones, into the everlasting fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.

35 Conclusion ØOur King is coming soon. He has given us His Moedim (appointed times) to be prepared for His return. ØHe showed us a path on how to become His Bride, and be in His Book of Remembrance. ØThere will be a massive coronation ceremony in the Heavenly realm, some day on the Feast of Trumpets. Every year we prepare ourselves, and rehearse as if we are part of that Ceremony. Then some day He will say: 34 Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
