2 MEETYOUR TOUR HOSTS OUR ITINERARY DAY 01: DEPART CANADA / ENROUTE Our exciting journey begins as you board a wide bodied transatlantic jetliner. Dinner and breakfast will be served in flight before arrival. DAY 02: ARRIVAL TEL AVIV Upon arrival to Israel's modern-day metropolis, Tel Aviv. Our representative will assist with the formalities before heading to our hotel near the Mediterranean. Dear Travel Companions: We would like to invite you to share with us a tour of a lifetime. DAY 03: CAESAREA / HAIFA / TIBERIAS Our first stop is Caesarea, the city named in honor of Caesar Augustus as the seat for Roman procurators over Judea. Visit the remains of fortifications, amphitheater and water aqueducts. Continue to Haifa on the slopes of Mt Carmel. Stop for a view of the Bahai Temple and Persian Gardens. It is near here that Elijah challenged the priests of Baal. Visit the small Church at Mohraqa, and then travel to Megiddo and Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus to Visit the Annunciation Church. Drive through Cana, where the first miracle of Jesus took place. Descending 636 feet below sea level, arrive Tiberias in time for dinner. DAY 04: SEA OF GALILEE / GOLAN Our day begins with a visit to Mount Beatitudes, revered by Christians as the site where Jesus preached his immortal Sermon on the Mount and dedicated to the feeding of the multitude. A short drive takes you to Capernaum visiting the area where Jesus lived, and the Synagogue. We board a wooden boat for a cruise across the tranquil Sea. After a time to rest and relax our motor coach takes us to Banyas on the slopes of Mt Hermon, one of the sources of the Jordan. Return to the hotel. An optional visit to a diamond factory may be arranged after Dinner. Overnight in Tiberias. DAY 05: TIBERIAS / MASADA / JERICHO Driving down the Jordan Valley, descend to the lowest spot on earth, the Dead Sea. Pass Qumran and continue towards the mountain fortress of Masada. Ascend by cable car and tour the remains of the site of the Jewish resistance against the Romans in 73 AD. Returning past Ein Gedi, we stop to see the caves of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered by a Shepherd boy in Visit Jericho, Mount Temptation, and Elisha s Fountain before getting to Jerusalem in time for dinner and overnight.

3 DAY 06: JERUSALEM OLD CITY Drive to the Old City, entering through St. Stephen's Gate. Visit the Pool of Bethesda, the Ecce Homo Arch (Behold the Man) and walk the Via Dolorosa, the last route trodden by Christ when led to his crucifixion. The last Stations of the Cross are located within the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to the Jewish quarter and the Temple Area on Mt. Moriah. We will attempt to visit the Dome of the Rock, erected in 691 AD around the rock upon which Abraham intended to sacrifice his son Isaac. A visit is planned to the Western Wall. Balance of the day at leisure inside the Old City visiting or shopping. Return to the hotel for dinner. DAY 07: JERUSALEM NEW CITY / BETHLEHEM Visit Yad Vashem memorial, then the miniature model of Jerusalem, the Shrine of the Book and then travel around six miles south of Jerusalem towards the mountain village of Bethlehem. Visit the Fields of the Shepherds, the Basilica of the Nativity and the chapel of the Holy Innocents located under the church of Saint Catherine. The Basilica stands over the Grotto where Jesus was born. Lunch is included at a Restaurant near the Shepherds fields. Time for shopping in Bethlehem. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. DAY 08: MOUNT OF OLIVES / NEW JERUSALEM Morning Worship Service at the Garden Tomb. We visit the Mt. of Olives located on the eastern side across the Kidron Valley. It offers a magnificent view of the Old City, Temple area and Judean Hills. As you descend the Mount, visit the Church of Pater Noster and Dominus Flevit. At the foot of the mountain is the Garden of Gethsemane and the Rock of the Agony. Here Jesus prayed and was betrayed by Judas. Continue to Mt. Zion where the House of Caiaphas is located. Visit the Church of Saint Peter standing on the site. Here is where Jesus was taken from Gethsemane and held in a cell dungeon before being delivered to Pontius Pilate for Judgement. Return to the hotel for dinner. DAY 09: ALLENBY BRIDGE / WADI RUM / PETRA Be prepared to start early towards the Jordanian Border. Their bus will meet the group at the Allenby terminal and embark on a visit of the colorful hills and canyons of Wadi Rum. Three hours later, we will tour the Desert Valley of the moon with its softly colored sands. Join a Bedouin guide for a jeep tour (4 x 4) in the rosy desert of Lawrence of Arabia. We continue our drive to the ancient city of the Nabatheans - Petra arriving there in time for dinner. DAY 10: PETRA VISIT / DEAD SEA From Wadi Musa, a half hour horseback ride reveals the Rose- Red City, half as old as time. Those who prefer to walk the distance may do so. The city was lost to human knowledge until two centuries ago, and now it is available to explore in all its beauty. Visit the Treasury, street of Columns, and the royal tombs. In mid-afternoon, begin a three-hour drive towards the Dead Sea resort for dinner and overnight. DAY 11: MADABA / MOUNT NEBO / DEAD SEA After breakfast begin with a stop at the Jordan River, at Bethany Beyond the Jordan. We then depart towards Madaba. We stop to see the 5 th century mosaics at St George s Church. Twenty minutes south of Madaba is the most inspiring sites of the Holy Land, Machaerus (modern day Makawir), the mountain-top fortress palace of Herod the Great offering a panoramic view over much of the Dead sea and the Hills of Jerusalem. Here is where Salome danced for Herod and John the Baptist was beheaded. Returning to Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death. Return to your Hotel near the Dead Sea in time for dinner and overnight. DAY 12: FREE DAY AT THE DEAD SEA A day at leisure at your Resort on the shores of the Dead Sea and a chance to wade or swim in the salty waters of the Dead Sea and/or rest and relax before an early dinner at the hotel. We will have a brief group meeting in preparation for an early departure to the airport. DAY 13: DEPARTURE TO CANADA Early morning departure from Queen Alia International airport in Amman towards Europe, for the return flight to Canada, bringing home memories that will last for a lifetime. TOUR CONDITIONS AIR TRANSPORTATION: Economy class, individual air fares based on advance purchase and subject to availability at the time of ticketing. Reservations may not be changed after ticketing without penalty: ($ CDN) will be charged by the airline for changes in reservations. A higher penalty may be imposed for total cancellation, or no show after ticketing. The checked baggage allowance is one piece not to exceed 23 kgs per person plus one handbag. Some airlines allow a second checked bag at an extra charge.

4 HOTEL AND MEALS: Superior First Class hotels, based on sharing twin-bedded rooms with private facilities. Lama Tours does not guarantee that a roommate will be available. If one is not available, single rooms are offered at an extra charge of CDN $1, per person. Two meals are included daily (breakfast and dinner); plus one lunch included in Bethlehem. No reduction is offered for triple accommodation. SIGHTSEEING AND TRANSFERS: The cost of this tour is based on a minimum of 35 persons traveling together, and includes transfers of passengers and porterage of one suitcase per person (23 kg) between airports and hotels, and vice versa. Transportation by deluxe touring motor coach with Wi-Fi; and includes the services of courteous English-speaking guides, and entrance fees to places visited - as indicated in the itinerary and tour brochure. TIPS & TAXES: A general tip fund of $ USD per person will be collected in US Cash by your host at the outset of the tour for the basic 13-day Israel and Jordan portion. The tipping fund will care for tipping to waiters, bellboys, chamber maids, front desk, service personnel plus guides and drivers. INCLUDED ITEMS: Service charges as imposed by hotels and taxes by local government authorities are included throughout. Airport security charges, airport user fees, fuel surcharge, all airport taxes plus Israel and Jordan departure taxes at land terminals. Visa Fees for Canadian and US citizens are included for the basic tour in Jordan Israel and Palestine. NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR COST: Passport fees, phone calls, additional personal gratuities, valet/laundry service, and all items of a personal nature, all expenses within Canada; and all kinds of insurance. Meals include coffee or tea with breakfast. Beverages at meals other than breakfast are extra. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: A deposit of $ CDN per person is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due no later than 90 days prior to departure. Make checks payable to EDAN TOURS. The tour is based on present values of the US and Canadian dollars at the time the brochure is published; and on rates, tariffs and airfares in effect on 30 June 2018, and subject to airfare increases, and possible increase in land cost by the time the tour operates. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: (1) For Land Arrangements Full refund for any cancellation in writing Ten weeks or more prior to departure. Cancellation within ten weeks to departure will be subject to a cancellation penalty of $ CDN, plus expenses incurred, and airline penalty. After departure no refund for any unused services: Air and Land. (2) For Airline tickets, the carrier's cancellation policy governing fares will apply immediately after tickets are issued. After ticketing, all airline tickets are non-refundable, nonendorsable and non-transferable. Any change of date nullifies the airfare guarantee. FINANCIAL LIABILITY: The client by engaging EDAN Tours and LAMA Tours, and making deposit and/or full payment for the travel arrangements specified, acknowledges their position of tour operators in the sole capacity of agents for the tour members with the airlines, land operators, wholesalers, hotels, bus companies, contractors, and service providers etc., and agrees to hold the Tour operators blameless in making the arrangements on his behalf, provided same shall be made through generally acceptable suppliers; and further agrees that restitution for damages, if any are claimed, shall be sought directly from the suppliers conveying the service. Such conveying, etc. is subject to the laws of the country where the conveyance is provided. The sole financial liability of the tour operators is limited to the amount of commission each receives from arranging air and land transportation and accommodation on behalf of the clients with service providers, airlines, hotels, and other tour operators. SEQUENCE OF TOURS: The sequence of sightseeing is left to the discretion of the Tour Hosts. Right is reserved to vary the sequence or to make substitutions on the tour sometimes after group arrival at the country of destination, if necessitated by circumstances beyond tour operator control. SHOPPING: LAMA Tours and the tour host are not affiliated with specific stores or bazaars in any city that we visit. Our staff are not experts in jewelry or antiques and therefore LAMA Tours and the tour hosts shall not be held responsible for quality and/or cost of items purchased while on tour. RESPONSIBILITY The presenters and the tour hosts shall not become liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, change in itinerary or accommodations, inconvenience, or other irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omissions on the part of the suppliers or their employees, land operators, airlines, or others not under the direct control of LAMA TOURS; defects or failures of any conveyance, equipment or instruments under the control of the airlines, land operators, bus companies, etc.; or through acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or in carrying out arrangements on the tour, or in connection therewith, or of any hotel proprietor or servant, and but not limited to criminal acts by a third party, fire, civil disturbances, acts of God, governments and other authorities, riots, wars, strikes, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, or dangers incident to the sea, land and air.
